Abstract

Analisa postur kerja perlu dilakukan sebab postur kerja yang tidak sesuai bisa menyebabkan gangguan dan kelelahan pada karyawan. Dengan begitu dapat menurunkan produktivitas, kualitas, serta munculnya masalah kesehatan bagi karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi seberapa besar tingkat resiko postur kerja karyawan menggunakan metode Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) pada departemen Operations and Surface Facilities PT. Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga dan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk menciptakan kenyamanan kerja pada karyawan departemen Operations and Surface Facilities PT. Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode REBA. Hasil REBA akan menjadi acuan dalam memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan lingkungan kerja dan perbaikan postur kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga. Pengambilan data diperoleh dari dokumentasi beberapa karyawan yang berada di dalam perkantoran departemen Operations and Surface Facility. Postur kerja karyawan yang digunakan berjumlah 10 postur. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode REBA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat risiko rendah (mungkin diperlukan tindakan) memiliki persentase 50% dan tingkat risiko sedang (diperlukan tindakan) memiliki presentase 50%. Adapun usulan perbaikan yaitu disarankan untuk mengganti kursi karyawan 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, dan 10 menggunakan kursi adjustable sehingga dapat diatur pada ketinggiannya sesuai postur tubuh karyawan dan mampu menopang badan karyawan.

Abstract

Beban kerja merupakan salah satu hal penting untuk mengetahui beban yang diterima oleh setiap karyawan, melihat dari pandangan ergonomi, beban kerja yang diterima karyawan harus seimbang dengan kemampuan fisik dan mental karyawan. Apabila terjadi ketidaksesuaian maka akan menyebabkan sakit pada tubuh dan mengurangi fokus karyawan. Pada Toko Bangunan terdapat permasalahan yaitu karyawan bagian bongkar muat dalam melakukan aktivitas pekerjaan, yang mana melebihi batas lifting sehingga menimbulkan sakit pada punggung. Selain itu fokus karyawan juga terganggu sehingga karyawan kesulitan mencari alamat konsumen yang kurang detail. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui tingkat nilai beban kerja fisik dan mental pada karyawan bongkar muat yang berjumlah 4 orang. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan Cardiovascular Load, diperoleh rata - rata nilai yaitu 32,60%, maka klasifikasi yang diperoleh adalah diperlukan perbaikan Selanjutnya perhitungan dengan konsumsi oksigen yang memperoleh nilai sebesar 0,932 maka memperoleh klasifikasi berat, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan metode Heart Rate Variability diperoleh stress index sebesar 32,2. Dari ketiga analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa karyawan yang bekerja sebagai bongkar muat perlu perbaikan dikarenakan beberapa faktor penyebab yaitu berat beban yang diangkut melebihi batas lifting, suhu lingkungan yang panas, mencari alamat yang kurang detail, maka dari itu diberikan usulan penanganan berdasarkan diagram fishbone untuk mencari akar penyebab masalah dan usulan penanganan yang diberikan adalah pemberian topi, penjadwalan jam kerja dan pemerataan aktivitas pekerjaan.

Abstract

Abstract Kampung Pelayaran, which is located in North Balikpapan District, Prapatan Subdistrict, is a densely populated area with a fairly narrow yard area for each house. The lack of public open space that can accommodate community activities that function as social interactions and economic activities is the main problem faced at this time. The main occupations of the local community are office workers and housewives (IRT). This community service aims to empower people, especially those who work as IRTs, so that they can use their time more productively and generate added economic value. This community service program chose The hydroponic planting method due to limited land availability. The stages carried out are the delivery of theory, simulation, and direct practice in making hydroponic plants. The results obtained in this community service are increasing the knowledge and skills of the community in utilizing hydroponic plants and providing added value economically. Abstrak Kampung Pelayaran yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara Kelurahan Prapatan merupakan Kawasan padat penduduk dengan luasan halaman masing-masing rumah yang cukup sempit. Minimnya ruang terbuka publik yang dapat mewadahi aktivitas masyarakat yang berfungsi sebagai interaksi sosial dan kegiatan ekonomi merupakan permasalahan utama yang dihadapi saat ini. Pekerjaan utama masyarakat sekitar adalah pekerja kantoran dan Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT). Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat terkhusus yang bekerja sebagai IRT agar dapat memanfaatkan waktu lebih produktif dan menghasilkan nilai tambah ekonomi. Metode tanam hidroponik dipilih dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini dikarenakan keterbatasan lahan yang ada. Tahapan yang dilakukan adalah penyampaian teori, simulasi, dan praktek secara langsung pembuatan tanaman hidroponik. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan tanaman hidroponik serta memberikan nilai tambah secara ekonomi.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of user experience and task type on Human-Computer Trust in the ChatGPT system. The method used in this research is an experiment where respondents are asked to do mathematics, descriptive, translation, and programming tasks on the ChatGPT application. After completing each task given, respondents were asked to fill out the trust questionnaire that had been prepared. Respondents in this study were divided into two categories: novice and expert. The total number of respondents in this study was 32 respondents. The result of this research is that the level of user experience significantly influences human-computer trust in the ChatGPT application in Task 1, Task 2, Task 3, and Task 4. However, there is no significant influence from differences in the types of tasks on human-computer trust in the ChatGPT application.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Teknik Industri (SITI) is a web application developed by the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Kalimantan Institute of Technology, for interaction media between lecturers and students in Kerja Praktek (KP) and Tugas Akhir (TA). In the digital era, information systems play an important role in increasing efficiency and effectiveness in the field of education. This study aims to evaluate the usability of SITI using the Performance Measurement method, namely in the aspects of effectiveness and efficiency. The evaluation results showed that SITI had a very good level of effectiveness, with a task completion rate of 81.25% for lecturers and 81.82% for students. The average error rate reached 21.25% for lecturers and 9.95% for students, especially in the KP and TA guidance filling feature. However, the efficiency still needs to be improved, with a time-based efficiency of 0.09 goals/second for lecturers and 0.038 goals/second for students, as well as an overall relative efficiency of 67.03% for lecturers and 83.1% for students. SITI is effective in supporting academic interaction but needs improvements to features that have a high failure rate to improve efficiency and user experience.

Abstract

The City Library and Archives Office utilizes its website to deliver information and services. However, its development has not yet considered user comfort and an adequate User Interface (UI) design, which reduces user satisfaction. This study aims to identify the elements that influence interface design and determine the reference specimen for UI design recommendations. The research employs the Kansei Engineering (KE) approach to connect user emotions with design elements. Data were collected through a questionnaire using 28 Kansei words to analyze five website specimens, involving 50 respondents. The analysis was conducted using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Factor Analysis, and Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that the Kansei word "beautiful" has a dominant influence on user emotions (value: 0.995). The City Library and Archives Office of Riau’s website was identified as the most suitable reference specimen for the expected design concept. Design recommendations were formulated based on the PLS analysis, covering elements such as layout and color to ensure an optimal design. This study highlights the importance of emotional aspects in UI design to enhance user satisfaction and improve the effectiveness of information delivery.Keywords - Kansei Engineering, Multivariate Analysis, Partial Least Square, User Interface, Website.

Abstract

Working in hot and humid environments poses significant challenges to thermoregulation and potentially affects performance and health. Strategies for mitigating heat stress are critical for workers exposed to high thermal loads. This study investigated practical cooling strategies, that is, phase-change vest (PCV) cooling and crushed ice (ICE) ingestion, before a physical activity in a hot and humid environment to alleviate heat strain. Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of the cooling methods: the first experiment involved participants wearing a PCV for precooling, and the second experiment involved participants consuming an ICE (7.5 g/kg body mass) before exercising under the same conditions. Physiological responses including tympanic temperature, skin temperature, and heart rate, along with perceptual measures such as thermal sensation and perceived exertion, were assessed. The results showed that both the PCV and ICE interventions effectively reduced heat strain, although they had different effects. PCV cooling effectively reduces physiological and perceptual strains immediately after physical exertion; however, this effect does not last in the recovery phase. In contrast, ICE ingestion reliably lessens physiological and perceptual strains throughout the activity and recovery periods, substantially impacting both physical strain and the perception of effort. These findings highlight the significance of ICE ingestion as an effective strategy for enhancing worker health and safety in demanding thermal environments.

Abstract

The ecotourism environment must be kept clean and sustainable for the sake of sustainability and comfort of visitors. Bukit Kebo Tourism Area is one of the many ecotourism and edutourism destinations in Balikpapan City. With the increasing number of visitors (tourists) to Bukit Kebo, it has an impact on the increase in the volume of waste produced. The increase in the volume of waste has not been managed properly, because the waste is only piled up and burned. Where the impact of hoarding can provide the potential for environmental pollution and the results of burning waste also cause pollution. In overcoming these problems, a solution is offered by using the concept of a waste bank to manage waste, as well as providing assistance to partners about the importance of recycling waste. In addition, education is also carried out for visitors to increase awareness and attention about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness through the installation of appeal plaques and campaigns through the distribution of brochures. The results of the responses given by management partners and visitors show quite positive results regarding the impacts given from the results of activities to always maintain environmental sustainability and cleanliness, especially in tourist areas.

Abstract

PT SPPA is a company that deals with the repair of mining components or heavy equipment. The company serves repairs and inspections of various types of machines, such as generators, welding machines, compressors, water pumps, and tractors. The fabrication department needs improvement in terms of structuring the work environment, especially in the toolkit area. The fabrication department is a part of the company which in carrying out its duties includes fabrication works such as material surface smoothing, component welding, the process of unification between parts in an item. In the area where the toolkit is located, it can be seen that the area is not well-organized, such as a hose that is not properly coiled, equipment collected on a large scale, and also there are still some unused items that give the impression of filling the space area of the toolkit. Therefore, a proposal for improvement is made using the 5S method, namely Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke or can be interpreted as Concise, Neat, Clean, Treat, Diligent. This method can be used to produce a higher quality work area related to these five aspects, so as to reduce or eliminate the time to look for equipment in it. Then, suggestions for improvements through 3D designs are also generated based on previous evaluations regarding the similarity of item functions.
