Abstract

Abstract Learning process, as schools serve as a microcosm of society. This study aims to develop and implement an inclusive Islamic religious education learning model to instill a sense of religious moderation in students at SMPN 8 Tebing Tinggi. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) following the Borg & Gall model, starting from preliminary studies and data collection, formulating an inclusive learning model, expert validation and revision of product implementation, and field testing. Then the learning model is poured into the Merdeka Curriculum learning module with learning techniques that support inclusivity such as Student Teams Achievement (STAD), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and Project-Based Learning (PjBL). After the model is formed, expert validation is carried out, followed by an initial trial on a number of students to identify potential improvements and adjustments. At the development stage, the learning model is perfected. The results of this study prove that the inclusive learning model can instill a sense of religious moderation in students. Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, Inclusive Model, Religious Moderation Abstrak Sekolah merupakan tempat yang tepat untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, terutama melalui proses pembelajaran, karena sekolah berfungsi sebagai miniatur dari kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplemen tasikan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis keberagamaan inklusif guna menanamkan sikap moderasi beragama bagi siswa di SMPN 8 Tebing Tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengikuti tahapan Borg & Gall, dimulai dari studi pendahuluan dan pengumpulan data, merumuskan model pembelajaran inklusif, uji validasi ahli dan revisi implementasi produk serta uji lapangan. Kemudian model pembelajaran dituangkan pada modul ajar Kurikulum Merdeka dengan teknik pembelajaran yang mendukung inklusivitas seperti Student Teams Achievement (STAD), Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Project Based Learning (PjBL). Setelah model terbentuk, dilakukan validasi ahli kemudian dilakukan uji coba awal terhadap sejumlah siswa untuk mengidentifikasi potensi perbaikan dan penyesuaian. Pada tahap pengembangan, model pembelajaran disempurnakan. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran inklusif dapat menanamkan sikap moderasi beragama bagi siswa. Abstract

Education serves a pivotal role in shaping the religious character of students, establishing a fundamental foundation for a generation imbued with morals and noble virtues. The culture within a school represents a strategic approach to actualizing this objective. the school culture encompasses various practices, such as the students' customs of greeting, kissing the teacher's hand, performing the dhuha prayer, reciting prayers, and chanting shalawat. These practices are consistently applied and significantly contribute to the formation of students' religious character, exemplified by traits such as politeness, gratitude, seeking permission, and the habit of offering apologies. The primary aims of this research are to examine the implementation process of school culture, its influence on the development of religious character, and the specific religious traits fostered in students. This study employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This study was conducted at Tadika and Taska TKC Educare in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the intention of elucidating the role of school culture in cultivating students' religious character. Data were gathered through interviews with the principal and team leader, direct observations in the field, and documentation during the execution of the International Teaching Assistance programme. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which encompasses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The school culture at Tadika and Taska TKC Educare proves to be effective in shaping students' religious character. These findings underscore the significance of consistently reinforcing school culture to instil religious values from an early age.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the following: the content of the ISMUBA curriculum for Muhammadiyah Middle Schools in Medan City, the content of the AIK curriculum utilized in the UMSU PAI study program, and the relevance of the AIK curriculum content of the PAI UMSU study program to the requirements of the ISMUBA SMP Muhammadiyah school in Medan City. This kind of study is qualitative and employs focus groups, content analysis, and interview techniques. The study's findings indicate that the first four courses in the AIK PAI UMSU curriculum are Islamic Science and Technology, Muhammadiyahan; Worship and Mu'amalah; and Religious Education (al-Islam). Second, there is a wide range of subjects in the ISMUBA curriculum for Muhammadiyah Middle Schools in Medan City, including both Al-Islamic and Muhammadiyah instruction. Meanwhile, the 2013 SMP/MT curriculum is used in Arabic language instruction; however, the learning materials used vary throughout schools. Third, on average, 65.5% of the material of the Ismuba curriculum (Al-Islam et al.) for Muhammadiyah Middle Schools in Medan City is relevant to the AIK subject of the PAI Study Program. Other courses provided to UMSU PAI Study Program students, such as Tahsin Al-Quran courses, History of Islamic Civilization, Insya' Muhadatsah, Tarbawi Tafsir, Tarbawi Hadith, Ushul Fiqh, and Contemporary Fiqh, augment the questionable relevance of the AIK content.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the independent curriculum (MBKM) implemented at MTs Islamiyah Medan through development of prodessional abilities. Merdeka Belajar is an Indonesia government initiative in realizing higher education that inclusive and relevant to industry needs. In the context of MTs Islamiyah Medan, the Merdeka Belajar curriculum is a reference for students to develop competencies and skills needed in the world of work and everyday life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews and document analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar at MTs Islamiyah Medan has made a positive contribution to improving the quality of learning and student’s readiness to face future challenges. Through field practice in schooling, students’ have the opportunity to integrate theory with practice in the real world so that they can develop social, skills of communication, and problem solving effectively. But, several challeng’s were found in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum, including limited resources and adequate support for the implementation of development of professional abilities., there are some differences among educators regarding this curriculum,which requires better harmonization and communication efforts to achieve the expected goals.

Abstract

Blended Learning method is a promising alternative for enriching the learning experience. Given the challenges and opportunities in implementing Blended Learning in schools, this research aims to make a constructive contribution to schools, teachers and the government. The method used in this research is a qualitative research procedure to describe the character of the problem being monitored. explains that qualitative research aims to obtain a complete reflection of things in the minds of the people being supervised). In conclusion, the implementation of Blended Learning at SMP Negeri 40 Medan offers a learning approach that combines face-to-face interaction in class with the use of technology and online platforms. Although the majority of students respond positively to the flexibility of Blended Learning, there are several challenges that need to be overcome, especially regarding unequal access to technology and time management.

Abstract

This research was carried out at Tadika Al Fikh Orchard Pendamar, with research subjects being 4 students. The problem that became the urgency for conducting this research was the discovery of problems with students' pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters which were still inaccurate due to a lack of knowledge about the makharijul hijaiyah letters which were in accordance with the rules of recitation science. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. This research aims to find out whether the use of letter card media can improve the learning of makharijul hijaiyah letters for 4 students at Tadika Al Fikh Orchard Pendamar. The focus of this research is the hijaiyah letters which are similar but different in terms of makharijul letters. The results of the research show that 4 students at Tadika Al Fikh Orchard Pendamar succeeded in pronouncing the hijaiyah letters correctly after learning the makharijul hijaiyah letters using letter cards, so it can be concluded that the use of letter cards succeeded in increasing the learning of makharijul hijaiyah letters at Tadika Al Fikh Orchard Pendamar.
