Abstract

This study investigates the impact of mobile banking technology, fintech innovations, and digital transaction security on customer loyalty at state-owned banks in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 300 respondents through a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale ranging from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree). The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25, employing descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that all three independent variables—mobile banking technology, fintech innovations, and digital transaction security—positively and significantly influence customer loyalty. Mobile banking technology had a correlation coefficient of 0.62, fintech innovations 0.57, and digital transaction security 0.68 with customer loyalty. The regression analysis showed that these factors collectively explained 38% of the variance in customer loyalty, with digital transaction security having the strongest impact. The findings underscore the importance of enhancing technological capabilities and security measures to foster customer loyalty in state-owned banks. The study provides valuable insights for banking institutions seeking to improve customer satisfaction and retention through advanced technological solutions and robust security protocols.

Abstract

This study aims to understand consumer behavior in choosing murabahah financing at BMT Beringharjo Nganjuk Branch, focusing on the role of consumer knowledge as the main factor influencing decision-making. This study uses a quantitative method with a simple linear regression analysis technique. Data were collected through questionnaires for 66 respondents who are BMT customers. The results of the study indicate that consumer knowledge has a significant influence on murabahah financing decision-making, with a correlation coefficient of 0.796 (strong relationship) and an R² value of 63.4%. This indicates that 63.4% of the variability in consumer decisions can be explained by their level of knowledge, while 36.6% is influenced by other factors. Education through family and friends is the main source of information (60.6%), while electronic media and brochures are less effective. In conclusion, increasing consumer knowledge, especially through product education, can encourage more informed decisions and strengthen trust in sharia financing. This study is relevant in formulating marketing and education strategies to improve consumer understanding and BMT competitiveness in the sharia financial sector.

Abstract

Economic stability is a key indicator of macroeconomic health, directly influenced by the effectiveness of monetary policies implemented by national authorities. This study investigates the monetary dynamics and the impact of dual monetary policies on economic stability in Malaysia and Indonesia. Dual monetary policy involves the simultaneous application of both conventional and sharia-based instruments to achieve macroeconomic objectives such as price stability, economic growth, and inflation control. The study employs Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) with Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) to compare the effectiveness of these policies between the two countries using quarterly data from 2016 to 2024. The results indicate that dual monetary policies significantly influence economic stability in both countries, albeit with different leading instruments. In Indonesia, the Minimum Reserve Requirement (GWM) is the most influential component, while in Malaysia, the Discount Rate holds the most weight. However, no statistically significant differences were found between the two contexts. These findings highlight the strategic importance of integrating conventional and sharia-based instruments to enhance economic resilience in dual financial systems.

Abstract

This study investigates the transformation of contemporary fiqh muamalah practices at Maahad Vokasional Aman Bistari Selangor (MVABS), focusing on the dynamics of ijtihad jamā‘ī and the methodologies of legal reasoning (istinbāṭ al-ḥukm) in addressing challenges arising from modern economic transactions. The research is driven by the need to bridge the epistemological gap between classical Islamic legal thought and the realities of digital finance and global Islamic economics. Adopting a qualitative case study design, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, then examined using thematic analysis. The findings reveal a distinctive model of collective ijtihad that integrates maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah principles with the operational mechanisms of contemporary financial systems. This integration has resulted in a contextualized framework of fiqh muamalah that supports the formulation of adaptive legal opinions (fatāwā) aligned with modern socio-economic realities. The study’s novelty lies in demonstrating how a vocational-based pesantren can function as a living laboratory of Islamic law, producing dynamic, applicable jurisprudence while maintaining fidelity to classical traditions. Conceptually, this research contributes to the development of living fiqh theory in Islamic education, and practically, it provides a replicable model for designing responsive Islamic legal and economic governance in the digital era.
