Abstract

This research develops a website-based reminder system using the Waterfall Method and WhatsApp for message notifications, aiming to improve patient adherence to treatment plans, particularly for conditions like Tuberculosis (TB) that require strict medication schedules. The study evaluates the system's functionality and user satisfaction, with positive feedback indicating strong agreement (56.5%) and agreement (39.1%) among respondents regarding the system's effectiveness. Key advantages include 24/7 active server support, technical assistance via instant messaging, flexible usage, and fast delivery of notifications, showcasing its potential in enhancing healthcare communication and treatment compliance. Abstract

Folklore is a story from the past that has been passed down from generation to generation in a society that serves as a medium to convey the values contained in the life believed by the community. One of the folktales originating from Sidoarjo that contains character education values in the development of the storyline is "Sarip Tambak Oso". However, in modern times and rapid technological developments like today, the folktale "Sarip Tambak Oso" and other folktales are at risk of extinction, because the impact of globalization has an impact on people's preferences, causing folklore to often be marginalized by popular cultural content from various countries. Therefore, it is necessary to design a game with a combined visual novel genre with an action genre entitled "Tales of Sarip Tambak Oso" as an effort to bring back the folklore of "Sarip Tambak Oso". The development of the Folklore Game "Tales of Sarip Tambak Oso" uses the GDLC (Game Development Life Cycle) method. Some tests that have been carried out are Black Box testing with 100% results and user response testing gets an average result of 89.5%, from the results of these percentages can be stated in the category of very good and is expected to be able to arouse public interest in the folklore of Sidoarjo which began to fade by the entry of outside culture.

Abstract

Freelancing has been trending for a few years lately, this kind of job industry is game-changing with many different jobs vacant. Technologies that are established further give new opportunities for freelancing jobs, moving from attending the office to working at home or on our own time services. Web service is one of the most used technologies that have been spread over many uses, it is one of the Application Programming Interface (API) branches, such as providing data and storage of data, this usability helps in many ways of software development, some application required a way to secure their data usage, efficiency on distributing data, easy use for development sustainability and maintainability. Extreme programming is a fast-paced development method that adapts with requisites on developed applications, by using this method hoping to achieve a developed web service could help freelance industries by distributing integrated freelancer data on many freelancing platforms, in in-order to help freelancing platform develop their main features or such add-ons features to help freelancer promote their services within that platform.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of an application to test the similarity between AI Generative images and handmade images using deep learning methods. Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has been applied to generative art through deep learning algorithms; however, there are still challenges related to copyright and originality of AI Generative art. The aim of this research is to develop an efficient model for classifying AI Generative art and handmade art. The classification model uses a Transformer approach, specifically exploiting the BEiT architecture, which shows highly satisfactory results in image classification tests. The high F1 score in each test reflects a good balance between precision and recall. The Transformer model outperforms previous methods using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and VGG16 models. It is expected that this model will be able to classify art more efficiently, assist in the detection of misuse, and mitigate legal risks related to copyright.

Abstract

One prominent development is the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT), which connects various physical devices via an internet network. By leveraging platforms like the NodeMCU ESP8266, IoT enables integration between the digital and physical worlds, opening up new opportunities in device monitoring and control. This research aims to implement the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller as a voice assistant-based electronic device controller, by designing and implementing electronic device control using the basis of the Internet of Things (IoT) on a smartphone platform by utilizing the sistem development life cycle (SDLC) model. The research results show that the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller is capable of controlling electronic devices based on voice assistants well. The sistem is able to detect and process voice commands with high accuracy, as well as control connected electronic devices efficiently, with an average success percentage of voice commands of 96.5%.

Abstract

In the era of continuing globalization, technological progress is increasingly rapid and motivates people to compete in creating the latest breakthroughs. In this digitalization era, many innovations have emerged that can be maximized in everyday life, one of which is maximizing the Internet of Things with the Telegram application which can controlled via NodeMCU, which is an IoT-based open-source microcontroller that offers extraordinary flexibility and NodeMCU acts as a microcontroller that allows management of electronic devices, connected to Telegram bots operated by programmed software. In the research above, the author used the SDLC approach with the Waterfall method. This research discusses the development of controlling electronic devices with nodemcu via telegram bots as well as knowing the measurement of electrical power consumption when using them. The conclusion of this research shows that building a controller to control IoT-based electronic devices using an Android smartphone provides significant benefits. With this system, users can control devices remotely and at any time without having to approach a physical switch, very useful especially in multi-story buildings. Apart from that, this system also allows real-time measurement of electrical energy consumption, allowing users to monitor power consumption on electronic devices via Telegram bots

Abstract

Healthcare services are rapidly evolving with the integration of information technology, including in hemodialysis services. This study aims to identify factors influencing the adoption of the renal data processor application in improving the quality of hemodialysis services at RS Siti Khodijah Sepanjang. Using a quantitative design with a survey method, data were collected from 135 respondents consisting of medical staff in the hemodialysis unit and other medical staff. Data analysis was performed using SmartPLS to test the structural model and the influence between variables. The results show that perceived threat significantly affects the coping strategies used by users, with R² values of 0.815 for coping 3, 0.618 for coping 1, and 0.768 for coping 2. Perceived threat increases the adoption of active and proactive coping strategies, while individual factors can reduce the perception of threat. This study emphasizes the importance of understanding the factors influencing the acceptance and use of the renal data processor application to optimize its benefits and address existing barriers.

Abstract

The quality of healthcare services, especially for chronic conditions like kidney failure requiring dialysis, is critical. This study aims to develop a machine learning-based web application to evaluate and justify dialysis healthcare quality. Conducted at Siti Khodijah Hospital from January to June 2024, the research employed a developmental and experimental design involving 123 medical professionals. The methodology included needs assessment, system design, algorithm selection, data collection, model training, system integration, and validation. The web application, named Renal Data Processor, features user-friendly navigation, robust data visualization, and machine learning algorithms. It provides real-time analysis and predictive insights, allowing healthcare providers to make data-driven decisions. Results showed significant improvements, including a 20% reduction in data entry time and a 15% enhancement in nurse certification tracking efficiency. User feedback indicated high satisfaction with the application's functionality and its impact on workflow efficiency. In conclusion, the Renal Data Processor has enhanced dialysis healthcare quality by streamlining data management and providing actionable insights. This study demonstrates the potential of machine learning to transform healthcare delivery and outcomes, suggesting further research to expand its capabilities and applicability in other healthcare settings.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk implementasi digitalisasi sistem informasi penggajian dan peningkatan kompetensi amil zakat di Lazismu Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa Lazismu Jawa Timur telah mengimplementasikan digitalisasi sistem penggajian, yang ditandai dengan penggunaan sistem informasi penggajian berbasis web dan aplikasi SIGI Amil di Playstore. Dengan adanya digitalisasi ini mempermudah dan mempercepat bagian keuangan dalam aktivitas penggajian bulanan dan data yang dihasilkan lebih akurat. Selain itu, pengabdian yang diberikan kepada amil zakat menghasilkan peningkatan kompetensi dalam menggunakan sistem digital dalam bidang fundraising, serta pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai kajian islam terkait pentasyarufan dan pendayagunaan zakat. Secara keseluruhan, pengabdian ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis amil zakat, tetapi juga memperkuat komitmen mereka terhadap prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana zakat. Dengan adanya digitalisasi, diharapkan pengelolaan zakat di Lazismu Jawa Timur menjadi lebih terstruktur dan mampu memberikan dampak positif yang lebih besar bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Hemodialysis services are essential for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), offering routine treatment to sustain health and enhance quality of life. As the prevalence of ESRD continues to rise, hemodialysis units must focus on delivering high-quality care, optimizing resource management, and ensuring patient satisfaction. To support these goals, this study employs a quantitative comparative design with a cross-sectional approach to assess the effectiveness of the Renalmu.com  application in hemodialysis services. The study will include 30 respondents from two hospitals, with data analysed using the Mann-Whitney U test to compare key variables. Data collection is scheduled to begin in September 2024 and conclude in March 2025. Preliminary results from the Mann-Whitney U test indicate that while both hospitals reported similar experiences across most dimensions of the Renalmu.com  application, a significant difference was observed in the Task Technology Fit (TTF) dimension of data quality. Hospital 1 demonstrated superior data quality, reflected by a U-value of 56.500 and a p-value of 0.013. No significant differences were found in other TTF dimensions, including task characteristics (non-routine, interdependence), site graphic attractiveness, privacy/security, interactivity, data locability, authorization, compatibility, product timeliness, reliability, ease of use, and user relationships. These findings suggest that the primary distinction between the two hospitals lies in the effective utilization of data quality to support clinical decision-making in hemodialysis treatment Keywords: Task-Technology Fit, Dialysis, Quality Service improvement
