Abstract

An innovation was carried out by mixing eyebrow gel with two types of solvents, namely baby oil and contact lens solution, in order to find the best mixing ratio based on aesthetic evaluation and the durability of paes. The author aims to explore the Yogya Putri bridal paes makeup, particularly the use of alternative materials to replace traditional pidih, which is easily smudged when scratched. Data analysis was conducted using the Kruskal-Wallis test as an alternative to ANOVA for non-parametric data. The test results showed a significant difference between ratios (p < 0.05). Ratio 1 demonstrated the highest performance in almost all aspects, except in durability, where Ratio 3 was superior. Overall, Ratio 1 is recommended as the best ratio as it provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance of paes, is comfortable to apply, and has good adhesiveness. These findings confirm that modern cosmetics such as eyebrow gel can be applied in traditional makeup, as long as the formulation and application techniques are appropriate. Future research is suggested to include physico-chemical stability testing, ingredient safety on the skin, and durability testing under various environmental conditions. Abstract

Lokal Staf di kedutaan besar adalah mereka yang dipekerjakan secara lokal di kedutaan besar atau konsulat negara Indonesia di diluar negeri. Selama ini belum ada pelatihan khusus mengenai pentingnya penampilan profesional bagi para local staff dan bagaimana cara mengoptimalkannya untuk menciptakan kesan profesional dan menarik. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan pelatihan tata rias untuk meningkatkan citra dan penampilandiri. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meberikan keterampilan tata rias wajah yang dapat diterapkan dalam aktivitas pekerjaan sehari-hari untuk meningkatkan penampilan diri sebagai repersentasi bangsa Indonesia di luar negeri. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan presentasi, demonstrasi, hands on dan Metode Group Building. Kegiatan berjalan lancer dan mendapatkan respon yang positif. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Self-Regulated Learning to students’ creative thinking skills in modern hair bun styling through a Systematic Literature Review approach. The urgency of this research lies in the vocational education demand for learners who are not only technically skilled but also capable of demonstrating creativity in solving aesthetic problems and producing original modern hair bun designs. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review guided by the PRISMA 2020 protocol, including identification, screening, eligibility, and synthesis of national and international indexed articles published between 2019 and 2024 related to Self-Regulated Learning and creative thinking skills. The findings indicate that Self-Regulated Learning has a consistently positive influence on creativity, particularly through metacognitive processes such as planning, strategy monitoring, and reflection. Results also highlight key supporting factors, including scaffolding, project-based learning, and digital learning environments, while barriers include limited instructional support and unsupportive learning conditions. The study concludes that integrating Self-Regulated Learning systematically into vocational aesthetic education is essential to enhance students’ creativity and recommends improving scaffolding practices and implementing project-based tasks as effective strategies.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk memperkuat kapasitas manajemen usaha dan strategi pemasaran digital pada BUMDesa Pengalangan Sejahtera di Gresik, Jawa Timur. Mitra menghadapi kendala dalam pencatatan keuangan, struktur organisasi, serta keterbatasan dalam promosi produk minyak biji bunga matahari yang memiliki potensi ekonomi tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui pelatihan manajemen sederhana dan pemasaran digital dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pengurus mengenai pencatatan keuangan, pembagian tugas organisasi, serta penerapan strategi branding dan promosi melalui media sosial. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan sederhana mampu menjadi langkah awal yang efektif dalam memperkuat daya saing produk unggulan desa.
