Abstract

The comic industry in Indonesia is currently in a period of growth after nearly 3 (three) decades of suspended animation. This is due to the lack of innovation in the comic industry, both in terms of facilities and content. The publication of digital comics is currently one solution so that works from comic artists can reach readers. The development of an interactive digital comic publication media application called Portal Inovasi Komik Lokal (PiKOLO) aims to provide an alternative digital comic platform that provides interactive reading features and can be a publication tool for comic artists, especially local comic artists. The PiKOLO application was developed using the Codeigniter framework, with a PHP programming base and a MySQL database. Application testing is carried out using the WebQual 4.0 method. Testing is carried out by distributing questionnaires to comic activists through social networks and comic artists' communities within a predetermined time span. The results of the test show that the PiKOLO application's usability / reusability results in a value of 4.03. As for the aspect of information quality, the average value obtained was 4.06. The service interaction aspect gets an average score of 4.04, and the overall aspect gets an average score of 4.06 from a maximum scale of 5.

Abstract

Transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam Organisasi Mahasiswa (Ormawa) merupakan aspek krusial dalam pengelolaan keuangan organisasi. Pengelolaan keuangan yang tidak transparan dapat menimbulkan ketidakpercayaan dari mahasiswa serta pihak kampus. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengurus Ormawa dalam menyusun proposal dan laporan keuangan yang transparan serta akuntabel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan berbasis praktik, yang meliputi sosialisasi, workshop, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Sahid Surakarta dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan teknis terkait akuntabilitas dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan keuangan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan pengurus Ormawa dan BEM, dengan 83% peserta mampu menyusun proposal sesuai standar administratif dan 90% dapat merancang proposal dengan tujuan dan manfaat yang jelas. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan budaya transparansi dan akuntabilitas di dalam organisasi mahasiswa, yang diharapkan dapat mendorong profesionalisme dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan keuangan, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan mahasiswa dan pihak kampus terhadap Ormawa. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi contoh bagi universitas lain dalam meningkatkan tata kelola organisasi mahasiswa yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Stock price fluctuations were very difficult to predict the direction of the changes. There were generally estimated to follow three analysis techniques: technical, fundamental, and sentiment. Technical analysis involves observing prices in the past, fundamental analysis is related to the analysis of ongoing business situations, while sentiment analysis includes stock prices that were affected by business aspects, current information, and business activities. Valid price data of the BCA Company used was the stock price from 2019 until 2024. The purpose of this study is to find alternative models of the RNN and LSTM models. The methods used in this study are the documentation method and the optimization method. Accuracy measurements used Mean Square Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) metrics. The results of stock prediction using the RNN model got poor results with epoch 10 obtaining an accuracy of 61.3%, while using the LSTM model obtained quite good results with epoch 10 obtaining an accuracy of 87.7%. Stock predictions using the combined RNN-LSTM models were able to get good results with epoch 10 obtaining an accuracy of 93.3%.

Abstract

Current classroom management in Indonesian pesantren often overlooks psycho-spiritual dimensions needed to mitigate academic stress, and empirical data on faith-based interventions is lacking. This quasi-experimental study aimed to evaluate the impact of a structured eight-week Islamic psycho-education intervention on student engagement and academic stress levels. Using a pretest–posttest non-equivalent control group design, participants were 60 pesantren students selected through purposive sampling. The experimental group received an Islamic psycho–education–based classroom management intervention integrated into routine instructional activities, incorporating the muhasabah technique and reflective learning journals grounded in selected Qur’anic verses. Data were collected using the Student Engagement Scale (SES) and the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scales (DASS-21). MANCOVA analysis revealed that the intervention significantly increased student engagement (mean difference = +12.4, p < 0.01) and reduced academic stress (−9.7, p < 0.05) compared to controls. Specifically, the integration of tawakal and tazkiyah emerged as a dominant predictor of reduced anxiety (β = −0.42, p = 0.003). This study advances educational and Islamic psychology by empirically supporting the integration of Islamic spiritual constructs into psycho-educational interventions. In practice, the findings support the use of structured Islamic psycho-education in pesantren classroom management and student counseling, offering a culturally responsive model for policy and curriculum development in faith-based education.

Abstract

Sahid University Surakarta is a private university and located at Jl. Adi Sucipto No.154, Jajar, Laweyan, Surakarta, Central Java. The test system for new student at Sahid Surakarta University is still very simple. The test for new students admission in 2018 at Sahid Surakarta University still used Google forms as a test medium. This study aims to design and implement a website-based new student test system at Sahid Surakarta University. System design methods based on OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design). Data collection methods used observation, interviews, and literature review. The software development procedure used the waterfall model. While, the stages of development consist of needs analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation. The research respondents are informatics engineering students of Sahid Surakarta University and third grade of high school students with 30 respondents. The results of this study are obtained: (1) the application website-based for new student admission test with randomization test method from the new to the old ones besides system reporting capabilities results of the exam and alsp analyze the results of the exam, (2)the application of test website-based for new student test runs 100”6 on test without errors in the aspects tested. In the aspect of testing based on user with the survey deployment method, the total value is 83.6” so the respondents strongly agree with the making of these systems and devices.

Abstract

The development of information system technology makes everyone need presentation of information quickly and efficiently. The Taruna Vocational High School (SMK) under the foundation of Tholobin Roudlotut / Ma'arif NU Institution are still manually processing correspondence data both in letter filing and mailing. This can makes frequent errors in mail data storing and searching. In solving the problem, a latter data processing system is needed to support the success in data collection and storage of correspondence. System Information processing correspondence is discussed about processing and archiving mail. The objective of this system is to build a web-based mail management information system at Taruna Balen Vocational High School, Bojonegoro. Data collection method used interview method, observation and literature review. The method used Waterfall Method. The programming language was PHP and HTML and database used MySQL. Furthermore, tools and editors used XAMPP 3.6, Windows 10 Pro, Firefox, Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Ms. Office Visio 2010. Whereas, system testing used Alpha Testing with the Black Box method. The results of all tests on the login menu, the mail data and report menu have been successful. All systems have run quite well, safe in feasibility, easily understood in the appearance and the results obtained are appropriate to expectation. Thus, it can be concluded that the information system processing of correspondence are appropriate to expectation in processing letters data. It can be seen from the processing of letter data in inputting correspondence, the letter searching process, and also can speed up the performance of the administration staff.

Abstract

Warung sate kambing Mbak Wid memiliki luas ruangan 3m x 5m dengan 1 kipas angin di dalam ruangannya. Kipas angin di warung sate kambing Mbak Wid cara pengoperasiannya masih manual dengan cara memutar potensiometer jika ada pembeli dan suhu di dalam ruangan tersebut panas, jika tidak ada pembeli kipas angin akan dimatikan. Pengoperasian kipas angin yang manual dapat merepotkan pegawai dan pemilik sate kambing Mbak Wid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengaturan kipas angin otomatis menggunakan sensor LM35 berbasis arduino di warung sate kambing Mbak Wid. Perancangan sistem dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall. Metode pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, literatur, eksperimen, dan dokumentasi. Pengaturan kipas angin otomatis menggunakan software Arduino IDE untuk memasukkan perintah dan Processing IDE digunakan untuk mengolah nilai suhu. Sensor LM35 mampu mendeteksi suhu ruangan dengan akurat pada jarak 1,5m - 2,5m. Pada jarak 3m sensor masih bisa mendeteksi suhu tetapi kurang akurat, sedangkan pada jarak 3,5 meter sensor akan mendeteksi suhu loncat tidak beraturan. Hasil dari penelitian ini pengaturan kipas angin otomatis dapat menyalakan dan mematikan kipas angin secara otomatis. Pengaturan kipas angin otomatis dapat menyalakan kipas angin secara otomatis pada suhu ≥ 270C dan dapat mematikan kipas angin secara otomatis pada suhu < 270C. Kipas angin dapat menyala dan mati secara otomatis pada pukul 09.00 - 10.00. Hal ini disebabkan karena pada pukul 09.00 - 10.00 terdapat suhu < 270C dan ≥ 270C. Pada pukul 11.00 - 16.00 kipas angin akan terus menyala, karena pada pukul 11.00 - 16.00 suhu selalu ≥ 270C. Mati dan menyala kipas angin belum stabil. Deteksi perubahan suhu dan waktu aktif berubah - ubah secara signifikan.

Abstract

The election process for the BEM president at Sahid Surakarta University previously used a website and log in using a username and password. The implementation of the election has several problems, such as multiple voting rights and an unregistered NIM. Therefore it is necessary to increase security by using applications and fingerprints for login. This study aims to build an application for the presidential BEM election system. The use of fingerprints to improve security in elections and avoid fraud during general elections. This research is software development using the waterfall method. The data collection is divided into three, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. In building the system, it uses the Embarcadero Delphi XE8. The database used by PostgreSQL and the fingerprint used by the Live 20R fingerprint. The system was tested using the Five View method. The fingerprint recording test used three different materials. The fingerprint recognition test used eight different finger conditions. The last test was the application delay time in the fingerprint response and the response to opening the menu. This research is the application of the presidential BEM election system for Sahid Surakarta University using fingerprint. The results of the tests carried out give 100% of the application running functionally. Meanwhile, fingerprint testing results show that the fingerprint machine only reads the fingerprints, while the fingerprint photos and the skin on the elbow cannot be read and stored by the machine. Fingerprint recognition testing using a fingerprint machine can read fingerprints in all conditions (wet fingers, oily fingers, inked fingers, pen crossed fingers, and sanitized fingers). However, fingerprints cannot read if the finger pattern is closed or blocked; namely, fingers closed one hand, fingers dusty, and fingers tied with thread. The time delay test produces an average time for fingerprint reading of 1.05 seconds, while the average time needed for menu opening is 0.25 seconds.

Abstract

Sanana adalah ibu kota dari Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula di Maluku Utara, Indonesia. Kota ini adalah hasil pemekaran wilayah yang berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 1 Tahun 2003. Sanana memiliki banyak objek wisata ditunjang dengan sejumlah objek wisata, baik wisata alam maupun wisata sejarah. Objek wisata alam antara lain Pulau Kucing dan Pantai Waka. Sedangkan untuk objek wisata sejarah antara lain meliputi Benteng Alting/Dever Watching peninggalan bangsa Portugis. Objek wisata di Sanana tersebut tidak banyak yang diketahui oleh masyarakat umum, kurangnya informasi mengenai referensi daerah wisata di Sanana dan sedikitnya promosi itulah yang menyebabkan beberapa objek wisata di Sanana masih sepi akan pengunjung. Maka dari itu perlu dibuat media promosi agar masyarakat dapat mengetahui tempat wisata dan kebudayaan apa saja yang ada di Sanana, salah satunya dengan pembuatan aplikasi informasi wisata di Sanana Maluku Utara. Untuk kemudahan dan kepraktisan penggunaan aplikasi ini, ditambah dengan maraknya penggunaan smartphone khususnya yang berbasis android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi informasi wisata di Sanana Maluku Utara berbasis android yang berguna sebagai media informasi untuk para calon pengunjung wisata di Sanana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall sebagai metode pengembangan sistem, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, kuesioner. Analisis dan perancangan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML), sedangkan pengujian menggunakan metode Five View. Pembuatan aplikasi wiasata informasi di Sanana Maluku Utara dibuat dengan andoid studio versi 4.1, didesain menggunakan css, dan java script. Aktor yang berperan dalam aplikasi ini adalah wisatawan. Hasil pengujian sistem five view adalah penggunaan aplikasi (User View) secara tampilan tidak ada masalah, tapi ada beberapa hal yang menjadi catatan, yaitu seperti informasi wisata ditambah. Proses pembuatan (Manufacturing View) aplikasi sangat mudah digunakan dan dipahami oleh user. Pandangan developer (Transcendental View pada desain aplikasinya terdapat logo yang menunjukan ciri khas dari pulau sanana, sehingga masyarakat dapat dengan mudah mengenali aplikasi. Pandangan ekonomi (Value-based View) aplikasi ini mudah dipahami dan tedapat berbagai macam list pilihan wisata yang membantu wisatawan dalam memilih tempat wisata. (Product View) produk segi kualitas yang memiliki sifat internal dan eksternal sudah bagus dan dapat menjangkau masyarakat umum atau para wisatawan tidak hanya dari Pulau Sanana saja tetapi dari luar Sanana pun dapat mengaksesnya.
