Abstract

This study highlights the compelling need for a strength-based assessment model in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, with a specific focus on Lingga Village. The data identify four integral forms of capital–physical, human, financial, and social–signifying the diverse potential within the community for sustainable development. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive analysis method with a total of 619 respondents. The results indicate that Lingga Village has a number of potential strengths and boasts robust Physical Capital, evident in its educational, health, religious, and sports facilities, providing a solid groundwork for a strength-based CSR approach. The concentration in elementary schools offers opportunities for targeted educational initiatives. Human Capital is characterized by a productive population engaged in diverse livelihoods, providing a foundation for skill-building programs and livelihood support. Financial Capital, manifested through asset ownership and participation in assistance programmes, underscores the importance of supporting and expanding existing businesses, enhancing financial literacy and exploring economic empowerment opportunities. Social Capital, reflected in family resilience and community cohesion, highlights the community's strong social network, emphasizing the need for collaborative problem solving and reinforcing familial bonds. Moreover, Lingga Village exhibits rich religious and cultural capital that can be leveraged to support activities that enhance religious knowledge, cultural practices, and community cohesion. A strength-based CSR approach, encompassing education, skills development, economic empowerment, and cultural preservation, holds the potential to empower the Lingga Village community. This model aligns with the principles of social work, emphasizing empowerment, collaboration, positive change in community dynamics, and encouraging long-term sustainability and resilience. Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibility, Strength-based assessment, Lingga Village, Physical human financial and social capital, Sustainable development   Studi ini menyoroti kebutuhan mendesak akan model penilaian berbasis kekuatan untuk inisiatif Tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan (CSR), dengan fokus khusus pada Desa Lingga. Data yang diperoleh mengidentifikasi empat bentuk modal yang tidak terpisahkan-fisik, manusia, keuangan, dan sosial, yang menandakan beragamnya potensi masyarakat untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 619 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa Lingga memiliki sejumlah potensi kekuatan dan memiliki modal fisik yang kuat, terlihat dari fasilitas pendidikan, kesehatan, keagamaan, dan olahraga, yang memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pendekatan CSR berbasis kekuatan. Konsentrasi pada sekolah dasar menawarkan peluang untuk inisiatif pendidikan yang ditargetkan. Sumber Daya Manusia dicirikan oleh populasi produktif yang terlibat dalam berbagai mata pencaharian, memberikan landasan bagi program-program pengembangan keterampilan dan dukungan mata pencaharian. Modal Finansial, yang diwujudkan melalui kepemilikan aset dan partisipasi dalam program bantuan, menggarisbawahi pentingnya mendukung dan mengembangkan bisnis yang sudah ada, meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan menjajaki peluang pemberdayaan ekonomi. Modal Sosial, yang tercermin dalam ketahanan keluarga dan kohesi masyarakat, menyoroti jaringan sosial masyarakat yang kuat, menekankan perlunya pemecahan masalah secara kolaboratif dan memperkuat ikatan kekeluargaan. Selain itu, Desa Lingga memiliki modal agama dan budaya yang kaya yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendukung kegiatan yang meningkatkan pengetahuan agama, praktik budaya, dan kohesi masyarakat. Pendekatan CSR berbasis kekuatan, yang mencakup pendidikan, pengembangan keterampilan, pemberdayaan ekonomi, dan pelestarian budaya, memiliki potensi untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Lingga. Model ini selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip pekerjaan sosial, yaitu menekankan pada pemberdayaan, kolaborasi, dan perubahan positif dalam dinamika masyarakat serta mendorong keberlanjutan dan ketahanan jangka panjang. Abstract

Penguatan kapasitas merupakan rangkaian kegiatan bagi kelompok dengan pendampingan rutin, agarkelompok tersebut dapat berkembang menjadi kelembagaan yang aktif, partisifatif, serta berfungsi sesuai dengan peranannya di masyarakat. Penguatan kapasitas yang dikaji dalam artikel ini adalah penguatan kapasitas UMKM di Rukun Warga 07, Kelurahan Ciateul, Kecamatan Regol, Kota Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis penguatan kapasitas UMKM di RW 07 yang terdiri dari empat dimensi, yakni peran pemimpin lokal, pengembangan komunitas lokal, komunikasi vertikal dan horizontal, serta dukungan pihak luar. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan dimensi penguatan kapasitas UMKM di RW 07 sudah terimplementasi dengan baik, namun belum mencapai hasil maksimal. Tidak maksimalnya proses penguatan kapasitas tersebut terlihat dari belum adanya proses pengembangan komunitaslokal di RW 07. Hal tersebut berimplikasi terhadap terhambatnya pencapaian tujuan dari penguatan kapasitas UMKM di RW 07. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti memberikan saran bagi penguatan kapasitas UMKM diRW 07, diantaranya pemimpin lokal di RW 07 perlu menjaga dan meningkatkan perannya, komunitas lokal perlu dikembangkan, komunikasi vertikal dan horizontal perlu dijaga dan ditingkatkan, serta dukungan pihak luar perlu dimanfaatkan seoptimal mungkin. Selain itu, peneliti juga memberikan saran berupa pemberian pelatihan bagi UMKM di RW 07 agar proses penguatan kapasitas dapat dilaksanakan dan memberikan manfaat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

To achieve efficiency in achieving organizational goals, leaders can apply five dimensions of leadership based on strategic vision, communication, member development, effective division and tasks, and objective work evaluation. This study describes five dimensions of leadership in the CSR Division of Bukit Asam Company. The study used qualitative descriptive methods using interviews and secondary data. The results showed that the head of CSR Division of Bukit Asam Company has implemented five dimensions of leadership, thus having a significant positive impact, both performance and reputation. In this case, the head of CSR Division of Bukit Asam Company needs to maintain and improve its ability to lead in order to achieve the goals of the CSR Division of Bukit Asam Company efficiently.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between job motivation and employee performance at Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company. A quantitative associative technique was used in this study. This study's population consists of all 45 employees of Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company. Then, as tools and procedures for collecting data, observation, interviews, literature reviews, documentation studies, observation guidelines, and questionnaires are used. The results demonstrated that job motivation has a favorable and significant influence on staff performance at Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company. Therefore, Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company has to monitor and evaluate staff performance in order to ensure that corporate goals are met to the fullest and employee welfare is ensured. To guarantee a fair allocation of jobs, encourage collaboration among staff members, and provide opportunities for professional growth, Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company needs to collect accurate data. This is how it is expected that in the future, Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company and its employees would collaborate to fulfill their rights, obligations, and aspirations as one single unit.

Abstract

Stunting adalah keadaan yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi dalam jangka waktu lama, sehingga menyebabkan gangguan tumbuh kembang pada anak dan berpotensi memperlambat perkembangan otak, berupa keterbelakangan mental, kemampuan belajar yang buruk, dan risiko penyakit kronis seperti diabetes dan hipertensi kronis. Salah satu tujuan pemerintah saat ini adalah mencegah stunting yang bertujuan agar anak Indonesia dapat tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal. Universitas Langlangbuana menginisiasi pencegahan stunting kepada masyarakat melalui peningkatan kapasitas kader. Peningkatan kapasitas kader tersebut didukung oleh berbagai pihak di Kelurahan Cicaheum, Kecamatan Kiaracondong, Kota Bandung dari mulai kader PKK, pemerintah setempat, dan masyarakat binaan yang terdiri dari ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, orang tua/pengasuh, dan remaja. Peningkatan kapasitas kader ini diselenggarkan pada tanggal 18 November 2023 dan 30 Desember 2023. Peningkatan kapasitas kader ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat binaan untuk mencegah stunting. Tidak hanya itu, dalam jangka panjang, kegiatan peningkatan kapasitas kader juga diharapkan dapat membuat masyarakat menjadi mandiri dan dapat menjadi role model bagi masyarakat secara luas terkait upaya pencegahan stunting. Selama pelaksanaan, kader PKK dan masyarakat binaan terlihat antusias. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari semangat kader PKK dan masyarakat binaan dalam mengikuti seluruh rangkaian acara.

Abstract

Background: A coping strategy is an individual's effort to reduce demands or stress. Lecturers at Sangga Buana University utilize various coping strategies. This study aims to measure and describe coping strategies based on two dimensions and eight types outlined by Lazarus & Folkman, namely problem-focused strategies and emotion-focused strategies.  Methods: This study employs a mixed-method approach with a concurrent nested design and identical sampling. The qualitative approach explores in depth the coping strategy selection process among two female lecturers with maternal status, based on statistical measurements using Lazarus & Folkman’s (1984) instrument from the quantitative phase. Qualitative data analysis includes transcription, classification, and drawing conclusions.  Results:The findings present quantitative data in tabular form and describe the coping strategies used by the research subjects. Both subjects applied strategies from both coping dimensions but in different forms. These coping strategies could either facilitate or hinder each other in the coping process.  Conclusion: The study reveals that lecturers who are also mothers at Sangga Buana University employ both problem-focused and emotion-focused coping strategies to manage stress. These strategies influence their social functioning and role performance. The subjects adaptively utilize all coping dimensions, adjusting to environmental demands and available resources, with the aim of restoring balance and mitigating psychological and environmental stressors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the social environment of Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company affects worker performance. This research employed a quantitative associative methodology. This research include all 45 workers of Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company as its population. Observation, interviews, literature reviews, documentation studies, observation guidelines, and questionnaires are some of the methods and instruments used for gathering data. The outcomes demonstrated the beneficial and substantial effect of the social environment. This means that in order to maximize the accomplishment of business objectives and guarantee employee welfare, Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company must keep an eye on and assess the social environment and employee performance. Regarding Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company, it is necessary to gather precise data for staff members in order to start social programs like team-building or mentorship, evaluate staff communications, and provide staff members chances for professional growth. In this manner, it is anticipated that in the future, Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company and its workers would work together to accomplish the goals, rights, and responsibilities as a single entity.

This research aims to obtain an overview and analysis of role of stakeholders in empowering millennial farmers through Millennial Smartfarming Program in Ciburial Village. This includes roles of government, local organizations and communities, academics, companies, and media. The study employs a qualitative approach involving 39 stakeholders as informants. For data collection, the researcher utilized observation, literature studies, documentation studies, and interviews. Results indicate that all stakeholders have actively contributed to success of Millennial Smartfarming Program in Ciburial Village. However, the involvement of media was not found, which is a concern for optimizing the program's success. Millennial Smartfarming Program in Ciburial Village also aligns closely with the conceptual framework used by the researcher. Nevertheless, there are still aspects of each stakeholder that need improvement. Therefore, parties such as head of Sukarame Village, head of Jamburaya Hamlet, all hamlets, and all neighborhoods in Ciburial Village, as well as millennial farmers, need to collaborate and build external relationships with outside parties, such as academics and companies, to sustain and enhance the success of Millennial Smartfarming Program in Ciburial Village. This collaboration will help millennial farmers achieve a better quality of life. The researcher also recommends involving the media to strengthen documentation and evaluation of the program and to build a broad network that supports the rights of millennial farmers and promotes positive social change in the community.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an analysis of the effect of compensation on employee performance at Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company. This study used an associative quantitative approach. The population in this study is all employees at Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company, which is as many as 45 people. Then, the data collection techniques and tools used are observation, interviews, literature studies, documentation studies, observation guidelines, and questionnaires. The results showed that compensation has a positive influence on employee performance at Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company. Therefore, Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company must monitor and evaluate employee compensation and performance and make efforts to optimize the achievement of company goals and ensure employee welfare. Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company also needs to collect accurate information to employees about the compensation system, especially regarding health benefits to employees. That way, it is expected that Bukit Raya Sekawan Mining Company and employees jointly fulfill the objectives, rights, and obligations as a single entity in the future.
