Abstract

Film is entertainment for people who are able to penetrate the social class boundaries. The ability to reach various segments of the film class, film making has the potential to affect masyarakt audience. Strategic value of the film not only serves as entertainment, the film has the potential as a medium of education, which can effectively communicate educational messages, and even be able to influence a person's behavior. This is the one of the spirit for student filmmakers in Purbalingga, Banyumas, Cilacap and Banjarnegara continues to be creative by producing indie films. Film is the medium for the message menyampaiakn, storytelling and expression. As with any work of literature (novels, short stories, drama, theater), in the film there is also a story, the scene, dialogue, scene, conflict, character, character, and setting. One of the benefits is being able to visualize movie various human characters so that it can easily intervene or influence the minds of the audience. This is where the potential effectiveness of the film in instilling moral values as part of the educational aspect of the nation's character.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the moral and educational values in the novel “Sukuh, Misteri Portal Kuno Di Gunung Lawu” by Rizki Ridyasmara and its relevance as reading material at SMA Negeri 19 Medan. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The research data is in the form of sentences that are described to explain moral values and educational values in the novel “Sukuh, Misteri Portal Kuno Di Gunung Lawu”. There are 20 moral values contained in this novel which are divided into moral values related to responsibility, humility, truth, attitude, never give up, and honesty. And there are 52 educational values which are divided into educational values related to curiosity, discipline, hard work, creative, democratic, and curiosity. The novel “Sukuh, Misteri Portal Kuno Di Gunung Lawu” by Rizki Ridyasmara is very relevant to be used as reading material, this is because the story in the novel “Sukuh, Misteri Portal Kuno Di Gunung Lawu” by Rizki Ridyasmara contains many moral and educational messages. This novel also contains many insights that are very much related to the country of Indonesia / the Archipelago. Reading this novel adds students' insight into knowing the natural heritage and wealth that exists in Indonesia and this novel is a novel with a historical genre where students really need novels with that genre to be used as reading material.

Abstract

This article describes the prophetic aesthetic representation inBanyumas culture which is known as cablaka. The data are taken fromliterature review of short stories entitled Senyum Karyamin by AhmadTohari. The work is based on the writer’s background as a cultural observer,and pesantren owner. Hermeunetic approach is applied in this research.Overall the prophetic aesthetic is represented in four characters;cablaka, sabar lan nrima, berjiwa ksatria, dan cancudan. There are threeconcepts of prophetic aesthetic; humanism (amar ma’ruf), liberation (nahimunkar) and transcendence (faith to God, tu’minuna billah).

Abstract

At high-school vocational education, literary lesson didn’t have yang proper portion. This is a serious problem, if education wishes to build nation character by humanizing human. The problem at vocational education is, at its 2004’s curriculum that Indonesian language lesson fully directed to one direction, namely using utilizing right and roper Indonesian language to communicate at work. Therefore, it’s the time for government and education department to reformulate or revitalize the real education goal, by equalizing all matters and lesson even if that lesson didn’t tested at national test (UN). Teacher also must apply curriculum with flexibility and wise, because curriculum inst a sacred text that annul interpretation and difference on its realization.

Abstract

Recently, gender mainstreaming became most actual issue. One of its domains is on education. Practically, gender offered as important aspect on educational curriculum. From this point, emerge gender education discourse, namely an internalization process of gender equality issues through formal education. There are three important points on gender mainstreaming issue; first, gender education, two, gender issue on literary works, and three gender educations based on literary works.

Abstract

Mahasiswa terbiasa menulis ide-ide mereka atau hal lainnya melalui media sosial seperti facebook, twitter atau WA. Kita tidak dapat menghindar dari perkembangan teknologi tetapi kita harus menguasai dan menggunakannya sebaik mungkin. Kemampuan menulis tidak diperoleh secara otomatis dan instan. Mahasiswa harus mengenal secara dekat pada jurnal dan literatur Bahasa Indonesia. Salah satu metode pembelajaran adalah inkuiri yang memberi kesempatan pada mahasiswa untuk mencari materi penyuntingan teks melalui jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional. Membaca jurnal seharusnya menjadi rutinitas sehari-hari mahasiswa untuk menciptakan lingkungan akademik di jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Metode IPJ (Inkuiri Pada Jurnal) cocok memaksa mahasiswa belajar bagaimana menyunting teks dengan menemukan sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode IPJ efektif meningkatkan kemampuan menyunting teks mahasiswa.

Abstract

Sastra digunakan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kehidupanpada pembaca yaitu nilai-nilai pendidikan karakterdan nilai-nilai budaya. Atas dasar itu dilakukan analisis sastra yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter dan nilai budayadari Antologi Cerpen Zulaiha Tongkang karya Hasan Al-Banna. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2022 sampai dengan April 2023. Data penelitian berupa kata-kata atau data tertulis dalam cerpen dalam antologi cerpen Zulaiha Barge karya Hasan Al-Banna. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik pencatatan dokumen dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data nilai-nilai pendidikan karakterdan nilai-nilai budayadalam cerpen—teknik analisis data dengan cara analisis interaktif. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penyusunan laporan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa aspek nilai pendidikan karakteryang paling banyak ditemukan adalah aspek penulisan sosial. Nilai pendidikan karakter dalam antologi cerpen Zulaiha Barge dapat digolongkan pada religiusitas, kepedulian terhadap sesama, kepedulian terhadap diri sendiri, dan nasionalisme. Nilai-nilai budaya yang paling banyak ditemukanadalah nilai-nilaiberhubungan dengan masyarakat. Nilai-nilai budayadalam antologi cerpen Zulaiha tongkang karya Hasan Al-Banna merupakan representasi kebudayaan Sumatera Utara. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kisah adat dan larangan di Sumatera Utara yang terdapat dalam antologi cerpen Zulaiha Tongkang ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Experiential Learning terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII di SMP Swasta Budi Setia Sunggal. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental) dengan desain nonequivalent control group, di mana kelas VIII-A dijadikan kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-B sebagai kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes pre-test dan post-test, serta dokumentasi. Hasil observasi menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran dari 50,73% menjadi 81,67% pada pertemuan kedua. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata 50,73 dan kelas kontrol 47,63, keduanya dalam kategori Cukup Terampil. Setelah perlakuan, post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan rata-rata kelas eksperimen 81,67 (Sangat Terampil) dan kelas kontrol 64,60 (Cukup Terampil). Uji N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi dengan kategori sedang dan rata-rata 0,6093 untuk kelas eksperimen, sementara uji t independen menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol setelah perlakuan (t-hitung = 15,18 > t-tabel = 2,048, df = 58, α = 5%). Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran Experiential Learning secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII di SMP Swasta Budi Setia Sunggal, dan diharapkan para guru dapat menerapkan metode ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the types of bullying in the novel Manusia-Manusia Teluk by Artie Ahmad. This research belongs to the type of qualitative research with qualitative content analysis methods. The approach used is literary psychology. The source of the data for this research is a novel Manusia-Manusia Teluk by Artie Ahmad. The research data are in the form of words and sentences that represent the types of bullying in the novel Human-Man Teluk by Artie Ahmad. The data were collected using document or library study techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out through three stages consisting of: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the novel Man-Man Teluk by Artie Ahmad represented four types of bullying, namely: (1) physical bullying; (2) sexual harassment; (3) verbal bullying; and (4) mental bullying.
