Abstract

Media pembelajaran digital menjadi salah satu inovasi baru yang diterapkan untukmeningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Paradigma metode pembelajaran dan mediapembelajaran tradisional perlu diubah ke arah pembelajaran inovatif di era digital.Kemajuan ini menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk memiliki kecakapan literasi digital.Salah satu software media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat digunakan guru disekolahnya adalah Flip PDF Professional (flip builder pro). Pelatihan pembuatanbuku digital berbasis flip builder pro diadakan dengan tujuan untuk mendukung gurudalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif dengan menciptakanrepresentasi buku yang mudah diakses dan dapat diunduh secara gratis oleh pesertadidik hanya dengan “scan kode QR dan tautan”. Konten didalam buku digital diisidengan materi-materi sejarah lokal yang ada di Provinsi Riau disesuaikan denganmateri pada saat pertemuan tertentu, Metode yang digunakan yakni pelatihanmengenai pentingnya literasi digital, pemahaman mengenai media pembelajaranserta cara mendesain buku digital dan mengaplikasikan flip builder pro. Hasil yangdidapatkan yaitu para guru mampu membuat buku digital bermuatan materi sejarahlokal Riau dengan desain menarik yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan lingkungansekolah dan masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Transmigration is one of the ways taken by the government to overcome population imbalances and equality caused by geographical, social, economic and political factors. Transmigration development is an integral part of national and regional development as an effort to accelerate development, especially in areas that are still isolated or underdeveloped, which can also improve the welfare of transmigrants and the surrounding community. The transmigration program for the Kuantan Singingi area began in 1980 with a focus on placement in the Sentajo Raya, Logas Tanah Darat, Singingi Hilir, and Singingi sub-districts, besides that seen from the data from 2000 to 2018 Singingi Hilir Sub-district experienced rapid development in terms of plantations, economy and infrastructure facilities when compared to the three sub-districts above. The research objectives are 1).To find out the background and process of transmigration in Suka Damai Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singigi Regency. 2).To find out the socio-economic development of the transmigration community in Suka Damai Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency 1983-2020. 3). To find out the role of the government in encouraging the socio-economic development of the transmigration community in Suka Damai Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency 1983-2020. This research uses historical research methods. In its development, the socio-economy of the transmigration community has experienced better development. The socio-economic development of the transmigration community will not succeed without the role of the government. The Transmigration Office what was done in the early days of transmigration was to take care of all matters relating to transmigration, starting from the place, facilities, food and clothing, and all activities related to the community.

Abstract

The establishment of PRRI was a reaction to the leadership of President Soekarno and to create a more decentralized government in Indonesia. The first joint operation known as Operation Tegas led by Lieutenant Colonel (Inf) Kaharuddin Nasution in Pekanbaru.The research problem was the destruction process of PRRI in Sungai Pagar, Kampar Kiri Hilir in 1958-1961. This research aims to (1) know the background of the emergence of PRRI in Riau (2) to know the PRRI movement that occurred in Sungai Pagar 1958-1961 (3) to know the actions in an effort to suppress PRRI in Sungai Pagar by the Republican Army. This research is a library research study. The method used in this research is qualitative historical methods covering four stages including: heuristic, critism, interpretation, and historiography. As for the location of the research that is in Sungai Pagar Village, Kampar Kiri Hilir District, Riau Province. The result showed that the destruction of PRRI in Sungai Pagar was based on the involvement of US CIA who provided weapons and drop it at Pekanbaru and Sungai Pagar village which is approximately 30km from Pekanbaru became one of the areas used by PRRI troops in resistance to the Republican army.

Abstract

The Minister of Information Regulation in Indonesia in 1969 stipulated that Indonesian journalists are required to become members of an Indonesian journalists’ organization approved by the government. Until June 1998, only one organization, the Indonesian Journalist Association (PWI), was recognized. In Riau, PWI was first chaired by H. Moeslim Roesli, serving from 1966-1968. Previously, in August 1963, a temporary representation of PWI Riau was formed with the following structure: Aspan Diar – Chairperson, A. Moeis Hadjads – Vice Chairperson, Noerbahrij Joesoef – Secretary, G.N.T Ilyas – Vice Secretary, Harun Al Rasyid – Treasure, accompanied by two Commissioners, A. Rachman Junus XI. The method used in this research is the Historical method. The historical method seeks to study past events, describing and analyzing these facts in depth. PWI Riau has several roles for journalists aimed at achieving common goals. And PWI Riau faces several challenges that they can resolve professionally through their activities.

Abstract

Museum Negeri Provinsi Riau atau yang saat ini lebih dikenal dengan nama Museum Sang Nila Utama merupakan salah satu museum yang ada di Indonesia yang dihasilkan dari program pembangunan museum pada setiap provinsi melalui program Pembangunan Lima Tahun (Pelita). Pembangunan museum pertama di Riau masuk dalam program Pelita II yang dilaksanakan pada tahun anggaran 1974/1975 – 1978/1979 bersama-sama dengan 25 museum lainnya yang ada di seluruh Indonesia. Awal pembangunan museum dimulai dengan membentuk suatu Bidang Permuseuman Sejarah dan Kepurbakalaan untuk membantu terlaksananya usaha pembangunan museum ini. Peresmian Museum Negeri Provinsi Riau ini diresmikan langsung oleh Direktur Jenderal Kebudayaan Departemen Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, yaitu Prof. DR. Edi Sedyawati pada tanggal 09 Juli 1994. Dalam perjalannya dari tahun 1975-2001 Museum Negeri Provinsi Riau mengalami banyak sekali perubahan, baik dari aspek fisik maupun nonfisik hingga dengan pemanfaatan museum selain sebagai tempat melestarikan benda-benda bersejarah sampai dengan sebagai tempat belajar untuk para pelajar dan masyarakat luas.

Abstract

This type of research is historical research, which is a research method that aims to make a systematic and objective reconstruction of the past by collecting evidence to establish facts and obtain strong conclusions. This research was carried out in Bengkalis Regency by reaching various relevant locations, such as the Bengkalis Regency Library and Archives Office, the Soeman HS Regional Library in Pekanbaru, the Riau Provincial Archives Office, and the homes of resource persons in the Bengkalis area. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The data analysis technique in this study is a systematic process carried out from the beginning to the end of the research to process, study, and compile data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation inductively. K.H. Imam Bulqin is an influential scholar from Bengkalis who has a strategic role in the fields of da'wah, Islamic education, and the struggle for independence. The education he took at various Islamic boarding schools in Java and the experience of migrating to Malaysia formed a broad Islamic insight while instilling a strong spirit of nationalism. Upon his return to Bengkalis, he was warmly welcomed by the community for his contribution in guiding socio-religious life, spreading Islamic teachings, and becoming a moral and spiritual role model. The period 1935-1949 was the most dynamic period in his work, when the political situation was colored by Dutch colonialism, Japanese occupation, and post-proclamation military aggression. The findings of this study confirm that the role of scholars such as K.H. Imam Bulqin proves that the struggle for Indonesian independence is not only carried out by military figures and politicians, but also by religious leaders who have the capacity to awaken the collective consciousness of the nation.

Abstract

This research aimed to create a guide module for learning outcome test based on High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) in lectures at the Departement of History Education at Universitas Riau in Penilaian Pembelajaran Sejarah course. The research method used in this research was research and development adopting 4-D (Four-D) development model. In this research, the development focused on the creation of a guide module for the preparation of learning outcomes instruments based on High Order Thinking Skills. The validation result from the material expert was 3.8 (very feasible) while the validation result from the language expert was 3.6 (very feasible), and the results of the module trial for students was 96.22 (very positive). Thus, the guide module was suitable to be utilized as teaching materials in Penilaian pembelajaran Sejarah course at the Deaprtment of History Education, Universitas Riau.

Abstract

This study aims to develop comic-based learning media for the Indonesian History material during the National Movement Period to increase the learning motivation of grade XI students of SMK Migas Teknologi Riau. The background of this study is based on the low learning motivation of students caused by the use of monotonous learning media, such as printed books with minimal visuals. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The results of media validation by material experts obtained a score of 90% and by media experts 90%, both in the very good category. A small group trial with 7 students showed a strongly agree score of 81%, categorized as adequate, while a large group trial with 20 students obtained a score of 88%, categorized as very adequate. Furthermore, there was an increase in the percentage of learning motivation scores between the small group from 80% to 84%, while the large group from 71% to 82% after using comic media. These results indicate that comic media is effective in increasing student learning motivation in history learning. The novelty of this research lies in the contextual integration of comic visual media into national history material, a practice never before implemented in this school. This medium not only captures students' attention but also makes learning more meaningful and enjoyable.

Abstract

This study investigates the historical context and multifaceted impact of the Tengku Agung Sultanah Latifah Bridge construction in Siak Regency, Riau, spanning the period from 2001 to 2011. Prior to its construction, the inhabitants of Siak Sri Indrapura City encountered significant challenges stemming from restricted access across the Siak River, a crucial national waterway and primary transportation artery. Dependence on pontoons, ferries, or traditional wooden canoes led to extensive queues, prolonged travel times, and inherent safety hazards, particularly for schoolchildren. These impediments severely hindered economic and social development, causing Siak to lag behind other districts and earning it the moniker of a 'ghost town. In response to these pressing issues, the inaugural Regent of Siak, Arwin AS, initiated the bridge project in 2002. The undertaking encountered considerable resistance, including opposition from the central government and legal disputes from shipping companies concerned about navigational disruptions. Nevertheless, through persistent efforts by the local government, the bridge was successfully completed and formally inaugurated in 2007 by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Currently, the Tengku Agung Sultanah Latifah Bridge functions not merely as critical infrastructure, enhancing transportation and stimulating economic activity, but also as a prominent tourist destination. This research specifically aims to delineate the community's challenges before the bridge's construction, detail the construction process, and analyze its profound impact on the developmental trajectory of Siak Regency.
