Abstract

Farmers' response to the use of organic fertilizers in Punggul Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. This study aims to determine the response of farmers to the use of organic fertilizers in Punggul Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. The research was conducted in August 2022 - February 2023. Farmers' responses to the use of organic fertilizers in Punggul Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. Methods of data collection in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative analysis which was analyzed using a Likers scale. The response of farmers to the use of organic fertilizers in Punggul Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency was very responsive 23 people with a percentage of 76.6% and sufficient response of 7 people with a percentage of 23.3% Based on the distribution of farmers according to their response to the use of organic fertilizers in Punggul Village, Abiansemal subdistrict, Badung regency. the answers obtained are included in the good category

Abstract

This research is entitled Marketing Efficiency of Arabica Coffee at CV Abian Kec. Kintamani Arabica coffee is a product that is certified for geographical indications so that it has a wide marketing distribution that is traded all over the world. The purpose of the study to analyze 1. marketing costs, marketing margins, farmer share, 2. Marketing efficiency. The analysis methods used include marketing margin analysis, farmer share analysis, marketing efficiency analysis The location of the research was conducted in CV abian. Kec. Kintamani Respondents in this study were determined as many as 30 respondents, 5 collectors, 2 retailers, and 5 consumers. Based on the results of the study, 3 marketing channels were found, with details in the level I marketing channel no marketing costs and margins (0), farmer share 100%, and marketing efficiency 0.00%. In the level II marketing channel, marketing costs (Rp 536/kg), marketing margin (Rp 1,200/kg), farmer share 95%, marketing efficiency 0.02%, while in the level III marketing channel, marketing costs (Rp 3,400/kg), farmer share 88%, marketing efficiency 0.10%. From the three marketing channels found, it can be concluded that the most efficient marketing channel is the level I channel. It is hoped that all Arabica coffee farmers in the research area will pay more attention to the marketing of Arabica coffee so that it can be even better in the future

Abstract

Desa Petang merupakan daerah pengembangan pertanian, ekonomi kreatif dan akan dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata, menghadapi permasalahan hasil produksi menurun, masyarakat sering komplain lingkungan tercermar limbah peternakan babi pada lahan pertanian dan bau tidak sedap, produksi pertananian unggulan: pisang, kakao, kopi dan jahe sebagai pendukung desa wisata masih rendah. Tujuan utama pada tahun pertama, (1) penyuluhan, praktek dan pendampingan pengelolaan limbah ternak babi (2), penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan ransum babi dengan memanfaatkan potensi pakan lokal (3) pelatihan, penyuluhan pemdampingan kepada kelompok pengelola desa wisata dan pemberian bantuan peralatan Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta monitoring. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di dua kelompok tani, yaitu kelompok tani Merta Sedana dan Kelompok Desa Wisata Tirta Giri Lestari. Hasil kegiatan pengelolaan limbah ternak menjadi kompos dan biourine dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan petani 85,0 % , kelompok tani berhasil menyusun ransum babi dengan memanfaatkan batang pisang sebagai pakan local, pengetahuan kelompok desa wisata dalam pengelolaan desa wisata meningkat menjadi 80 %, diberikan bantuan 10 perahu karet untuk mendukung pengembangan wisata tubing dan twin waterfall. Oleh karena itu pengabdian ini sangat penting dilakukan untuk keberlanjutan pengembangan desa wisata berbasis pertanian

Abstract

Farmers do not get certainty of grain price. The construction of Rice Milling Unit guarantees the price of grain received by farmers. The main objective of the study is to analyze the feasibility of the construction of Rice Milling Unit from the aspect of grain availability, rice needs and financial aspects. The study uses a descriptive method, the study was conducted in Badung Regency. Data were collected by questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis of the feasibility of the aspect of grain availability and rice needs was analyzed descriptively, and the feasibility of the financial aspect was analyzed using investment criteria, namely Net Present Value (NPV) Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B / C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Payback period. The results of the study found that from the aspect of grain availability and rice needs it was feasible, from the financial aspect it was feasible with an NPV of Rp. 171,931,999.193, Net B / C 1.2900, IRR 25.05% and Payback Period 1.44. The construction of Rice Milling Unit by the government guarantees the price of grain to farmers and the community's rice needs are met with stable prices.

Abstract

Uly Lasingan UMKM faces problems in terms of production and marketing. In terms of production, the problem faced is the lack of drying space and storage for coffee beans. Traditional drying that relies on sunlight causes a long drying time, so the partner's production capacity is highly dependent on the coffee drying process by each farmer which takes 14-20 days. Currently, partners are able to produce up to 600 kg per month, with a breakdown of 300 kg for their own products and 300 kg for roasting services. Every time they produce 300 kg, 240 kg of coffee skin waste is produced which has not been utilized and is only thrown away, even though this waste has the potential to provide added value to UMKM if processed. This production is still relatively small because partners do not have coffee bean storage facilities, so coffee beans are only purchased before the production process, which reduces production effectiveness. Previously, partners had also produced banana sale with a capacity of 2 kg per day, but this activity was stopped due to an earthquake. Meanwhile, in terms of marketing, the problem faced by Uly Lasingan UMKM is the absence of adequate financial records or bookkeeping so that the UMKM will find it difficult to measure business performance and manage cash flow. The purpose of the community service activity is to improve the quality and sales value of post-harvest coffee, increase the knowledge and skills of partners in implementing effective marketing strategies, financial records and effective and efficient organizational management. The method used is five stages of activity, namely socialization, training, technology application, technical assistance and evaluation and program sustainability. The results of this community service activity are the existence of a drying room based on PLTS and IoT, an increase in the amount of raw coffee materials from independent drying by partners, an oil draining machine to revive the banana sale business, procurement of a financial management system and website-based promotion, increasing knowledge and skills about post-harvest handling of coffee through pretests and posttests. The pre-test and post-test results also showed an increase in the level of knowledge of partners from the level of not knowing by 67.19% down to 0.00% and the level of knowing increased from 5.73% to 36.84% and the level of knowing very much increased from 0.52% to 2.11%. This change in the level of knowledge was also reflected in the responses of participants during the training session.
