Abstract

Organic vegetables can be cultivated, both in the lowlands and highlands. Organic vegetables are: spinach, kale, cabbage, broccoli, green beans, carrots, potatoes, peas, peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, scallions, and others. However, organic vegetable production can not meet people's needs in terms of quantity, quality, and continuity.Preparation of guidelines for organic vegetable production aims to provide a general guide to implement organic cultivation of vegetables in accordance with the applicable standards so that the resulting product can actually be accounted for, qualified, competitive, safe for consumption, environmentally friendly and sustainable.Application of organic farming must follow the rules completely correct according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) norm-based farming is good and right (Good Agriculture Practices / GAP), with several activities, namely: site selection, land conversion, manufacture of organic fertilizer, pesticide manufacture of plant, land preparation, seed preparation, seeding, planting, fertilizing, watering, thinning, crop protection and harvesting.Keywords: Technology, Production and Organic Vegetables

Abstract

Grapes are a commodity that has high added value. The wide variety of products shows that wine has a highdemand. This study aimed to provide recommendations for alternative priority products for processed Balinesegrapes and optimization strategies in the development of processed grape products in Buleleng Regency. Theresearch method was a survey, observation, focus group discussion, mapping of industrial trees, and AnalyticHierarchy Process (AHP). The results showed that there were 10 existing processed products, and there were 19processed products as alternatives. The priority processed products were wine, jam, and syrup. Matrix internalexternal showed a hold and maintains strategy with an alternative strategy of diversifying wine products by lookingat consumer preferences, producing fine quality and high yield wine, entering the international market, installingpipes to drain water throughout the vineyards, making grape derivative products as unique as possible, training thelabour about wine good production methods, reducing the number of sales of fresh grapes, increasing theproduction of processed grapes for sale, maximizing the promotion of processed wine, forming a market forprocessed wine products through cooperation with companies, governments, and universities, providing labourabout marketing, and forming the institutional structure of the grapes. The priorities of the proposed strategieswere training the labour about marketing, entering the international market, and reducing the number of sales offresh grapes.Keywords: alternative strategies, grapes, industry, processed products

Abstract

Tourist villages will need infrastructure that supports tourism activities such as places to eat, places to stay, rest areas, galleries, and so on, one of whose goals is to improve the living standards of local people. This causes the number of plant species to decrease. Plant conservation by utilizing local wisdom is one of the efforts to reduce the decline in the number of plant species. Balinese people need many types of plants to support their ceremonial activities. The application of Tri Hita Karana and Tri Mandala in the daily life of the Balinese people is expected to support plant conservation activities and support tourism activities and provide economic benefits in the Pinge traditional village. The concept of Tri Hita Karana derives from the concept of Tri Mandala which consists of the main mandala as a parahyangan or holy place, Madya mandala in the form of a yard which includes residential buildings and natah, while nista mandala yard in the form of the back house (teba) and the yard of the front house (telajakan). Traditional Balinese gardening uses the concept of Tri Mandala. The problems raised in this "community service program" are still unorganized placement of plants in the Tri Mandala area and the lack of availability of plants for landscape management following the Tri Hita Karana concept. To support the management of landscape plants following the tri hita karana concept, Warmadewa University in collaboration with the Unda Anyar Seedling Nursery Center, Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) assisted plant seeds in the form of Cempaka seeds, avocados, sandalwood, majegau, jackfruit, rejasa, sawo, and soursop. Conducting webinars on the topic of landscape plant management following the tri hita karana concept. Inviting the people of Pinge Village to actively participate in planting Tri Mandala following the concept of Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract

Desa Sumerta Kelod merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Kota Denpasar dengan jumlah penduduk sampai dengan tahun 2016 berjumlah 20.879 jiwa. Dengan padatnya jumlah penduduk yang ada, berpengaruh dengan sampah yang dihasilkan oleh masing-masing rumah tangga yang dibuang ke Tempat Pembuangan Akhir. Akan tetapi mulai tahun 2022 nanti TPA (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir) tidak lagi menerima sampah yang dihasilkan oleh masing-masing rumah tangga yang di hasilkan di wilayah Desa Sumerta Kelod. Untuk menghubungkan peran serta masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah (Perbekel Desa Sumerta Kelod) dalam menanggulangi sampah yang dihasilkan oleh masyarakat, maka perlu adanya sebuah konsep yang dapat mengintegrasi antara masyarakat, pemerintah daerah dan lingkungan itu sendiri. Pembentukan eco community merupakan langkah awal untuk pengelolaan sampah organic di tingkat rumah tangga yang berfokus mengubah sampah menjadi suatu hal yang lebih berguna seperti membuat eco enzyme. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, simulasi atau peragaan serta praktek langsung tentang pengolahan eco enzyme melalui komunitas. Hasil dari kegiata ini adalah terbentuknya eco community di Desa Sumerta Kelod yang dapat mengurangi keluaran sampah dari rumah tangga ke TPA, dengan mengolah limbah organic ini secara tidak langsung juga dapat menjaga kelestarian alam, sekaligus menerapkan gaya hidup minim kimia sintetis.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out in the “Sarining Trigona Pertiwi” group, Bongkasa Pertiwi Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. This community service goal is to improve honey bee farming by increasing group expertise in developing nectar-producing plants. The methods used in this service activity include counselling, practice, and evaluation. The result of the program carried out was that there was an improvement in honey post-harvest techniques according to the materials and SOPs provided. The honey produced meets SNI standards, but the process of reducing the water content of honey is constrained by equipment. Management and group members have understood the legal regulations that need to be complied with in developing a honey business as an effort to prevent future internal problems.

Abstract

Planting media is an important factor affecting coffee nurseries. Farmers in Wanagiri Village have problems in coffee cultivation because they have soil with a slightly acidic pH. This affects the availability of phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) in the soil. P and potassium K solubilizing fungi can be used to increase the availability of P and K in the soil. This study aimed to analyze the viability of Aspergillus costaricaensis fungi on coffee husk carriers and the effect of A. costaricaensis biofertilizer on planting medium and the growth of Arabica coffee seedlings. The method consisted of the preparation carrier material, viability test of A. costaricaensis on coffee husk carrier, and test of the effect of A. costaricaensis on the planting medium and growth of arabica coffee seedlings. There were four fertilization treatments, i.e., P1 (organic fertilizer), P2 (100% NPK), P3 (organic fertilizer + biofertilizer), and P4 (organic fertilizer + biofertilizer + 50% NPK). Coffee husk carrier material maintained the viability of A. costaricaensis during the nine weeks of storage. The number of populations that could be maintained was log 7.67 (4.7 x 107 CFU g-1). The application of biofertilizer combined with organic fertilizers (P3) increased soil pH to 7.13, and it could potentially reduce the use of NPK fertilizer. Based on the observed growth parameters, it was shown that the treatment of biofertilizers combined with organic fertilizers increased the growth parameters of plant height and stem circumference of Arabica coffee seedlings.

Abstract

Sentra produksi pertanian di Desa Ayunan adalah usahatani padi, permasalahan yang dihadapi petani adalah produksi yang rendah dan sering gagal panen, sehingga diperlukan usaha menanggulangi permasalahan tersebut disamping mengembangkan sentra produksi yang lainnya. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mengembangkan sentra produksi pertanian untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani di Desa Ayunan. Metode pelaksananaan yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan serta pembuatan demplot. Hasil kegitan pengabdian masyarakat adalah usaha tani padi berbarsis organik dengan sistem tanam jajar legowo dalam rangka meningkatkan: pendapatan petani, pembuatan rumah pangan lestari sangat potensial sebagai sumber ketahanan pangan dan pekarangan rumah menjadi asri, dan usaha peternakan ayam upakara dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani. Pengembangan sentra-sentra produksi pertanian perlu terus dilakukan untuk dapat merubah perilaku masyarakat, pelestarian lingkungan, dan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani

Abstract

Sejatinya sampah bukan merupakan hal yang merugikan manusia, sampah dapat berubah menjadi suatu hal yang berguna jika manusia memiliki kemampuan untuk mengelola sampah dengan baik dan tepat. Desa Kesiman Kertalangu merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Kota Denpasar dengan jumlah penduduk berjumlah 17.704 jiwa. Dengan padatnya jumlah penduduk yang ada di lingkungan Desa Kesiman Kertalangu, akan berpengaruh dengan sampah yang dihasilkan oleh masing-masing rumah tangga yang dibuang ke TPA (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir). Oleh karena itu, kegiatan PKM ini diadakan untuk dapat mengintegrasi antara masyarakat, pemerintah daerah dan lingkungan itu sendiri. Dengan metode pemberian sosialisasi dan pelatihan langsung pembuatan eco enzyme kepada eco community yang beranggotakan ibu PKK di Lingkungan Desa Kesiman Kertalangu. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta untuk mengolah sampah dari sumber sehingga sampah yang di buang ke TPA menjadi berkurang dan hal ini meeupakan salah satu pilihan untuk pengelolaan sampah organic di tingkat rumah tangga yang berfokus mengubah sampah menjadi suatu hal yang lebih berguna yaitu eco enzyme.

Abstract

Shallot is a superior commodity cultivated by farmers intensively, contains substances that are beneficial to health and is used as a cooking spice.. Utilization of waste and returning to organic can improve the environment where it grows so that the availability of nutrients can increase shallot crop yields. This study aims to find the type of organic fertilizer and mulch that gives high yields for shallots. . This research was a factorial experiment with a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of two factors, namely the type of organic fertilizer (J) consisting of 3 levels, namely 30 tons ha-1 rabbit manure (J1); chicken manure 30 tons ha-1 (J2) and organic fertilizer karambitan agro 30 tons ha-1 (J3) and the various types of mulch (M) consisted of 3 levels, namely straw mulch (MJ), husk mulch (MS), and plastic mulch (MP). The research was conducted in rice fields in Subak Sampalan Delod Margi, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency . The highest tuber fresh weight per clump and per hectare to be obtained in the 30 ton ha-1 rabbit manure treatment, namely 73,61 g and 7,36 tons, when compared to the lowest results in the 30 ton ha-1 chicken manure treatment ie weighing 44,90 g and 4,49 tons experienced an increase of 63,94% and 63,92%. The highest fresh weight of tubers per clump and per hectare were obtained from husk mulch, namely 67,50 g and 6,75 tons, which increased by 48,38% and 48,35%, compared to plastic mulch, namely 45,49 g and 4,55 tons.

Abstract

Desa Petang merupakan daerah pengembangan pertanian, ekonomi kreatif dan akan dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata, menghadapi permasalahan hasil produksi menurun, masyarakat sering komplain lingkungan tercermar limbah peternakan babi pada lahan pertanian dan bau tidak sedap, produksi pertananian unggulan: pisang, kakao, kopi dan jahe sebagai pendukung desa wisata masih rendah. Tujuan utama pada tahun pertama, (1) penyuluhan, praktek dan pendampingan pengelolaan limbah ternak babi (2), penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan ransum babi dengan memanfaatkan potensi pakan lokal (3) pelatihan, penyuluhan pemdampingan kepada kelompok pengelola desa wisata dan pemberian bantuan peralatan Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta monitoring. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di dua kelompok tani, yaitu kelompok tani Merta Sedana dan Kelompok Desa Wisata Tirta Giri Lestari. Hasil kegiatan pengelolaan limbah ternak menjadi kompos dan biourine dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan petani 85,0 % , kelompok tani berhasil menyusun ransum babi dengan memanfaatkan batang pisang sebagai pakan local, pengetahuan kelompok desa wisata dalam pengelolaan desa wisata meningkat menjadi 80 %, diberikan bantuan 10 perahu karet untuk mendukung pengembangan wisata tubing dan twin waterfall. Oleh karena itu pengabdian ini sangat penting dilakukan untuk keberlanjutan pengembangan desa wisata berbasis pertanian
