The subjects in the study were 95 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mulawarman University and students of SMK Negeri 1 Penajam Paser Utara. The data collection method uses three types of scales, namely the work readiness scale, Organizational Activity scale and self-efficacy scale. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant influence of Organizational Activity and self-efficacy on work readiness with the value of F count = 922.620> F table = 3.09 and p value = 0.000 and has an influence contribution (R2) of 95%. (2) there is a significant positive effect of Organizational Activity on work readiness with a beta coefficient (?) = 0.330, t count = 5.089 > t table = 1.986, and p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05). (3) there is a significant positive effect of self-efficacy on work readiness with a beta coefficient value (?) = 0.660, t count = 10.174 > t table = 1.986, and p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Ideally, students should be able to prioritize their needs; however, the transition to early adulthood often makes them more susceptible to emotional impulses when making purchasing decisions. This study aims to examine the effect of purchase intention and brand equity on purchasing decisions among students. The research subjects consisted of 75 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mulawarman University, class of 2020-2022, selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected using purchase decision, purchase intention, and brand equity scales and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that purchase intention and brand equity have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, as evidenced by an F value of 26.577, an R² value of 0.425, and a p value of 0.000. These findings support the acceptance of the main hypothesis, demonstrating that both variables play an important role in shaping students' purchasing decisions. The results also suggest that purchasing decisions are not solely driven by interest and brand value, but are influenced by cognitive, emotional, and evaluative factors in the consumer decision-making process. This study highlights the importance of enhancing purchase intention and strengthening brand equity as effective marketing strategies, while also contributing to the understanding of student consumer behavior.

Abstract

The perinatal period represents a complex and vulnerable developmental transition characterized by substantial biological, psychological, social, and environmental changes. Maternal subjective well-being during this phase extends beyond the absence of mental disorders and encompasses life satisfaction, positive affect, perceived competence, and meaningful engagement in the maternal role. This study aimed to systematically synthesize psychosocial determinants influencing subjective well-being among perinatal mothers through a systematic literature review approach. Inclusion criteria comprised peer-reviewed English-language journal articles published between 2010 and 2026 that examined intrapersonal, relational, socioeconomic, and environmental determinants among pregnant and postpartum women. Following the PRISMA framework, 17 studies met the eligibility criteria and were included in the final analysis. The findings indicate that emotional regulation, maternal self-efficacy, risk perception, childbirth experience, sleep quality, social support, stigma, socioeconomic conditions, and environmental stressors are key interacting determinants shaping maternal subjective well-being. Furthermore, psychosocial interventions such as psychoeducation, cognitive-emotional regulation-based programs, and digital support platforms demonstrate promising potential in enhancing maternal resilience. The results underscore the importance of adopting an ecological framework integrating individual, relational, and structural dimensions to comprehensively understand maternal well-being. This review shifts the focus from a pathology-oriented perspective toward a strength-based and well-being-centered paradigm and provides important implications for maternal mental health policy development and preventive intervention strategies.
