Abstract

This research is motivated by the high tendency of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in students, as well as the lack of game-based media that specifically helps students reflect on FoMO in the context of daily life. A range of interventions to reduce FoMO have been developed, but most still focus on informative approaches and have not optimally encouraged active engagement and deep reflection of students in the context of real-life experiences. This research aims to develop counseling guidance media in the form of JOMO board games and test its feasibility. This research uses a Research and Development approach based on the Borg & Gall model up to the product revision stage II. The participants consisted of three media experts, three counseling subject matter experts, three prospective product users (school counselors), and eight students in a small group trial. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations, and analyzed using the Percentage of Agreement technique. The validation results showed that the JOMO board game achieved a feasibility score of 91.07% from media experts, 90.47% from material experts, and 91.27% from potential users, all of which were categorized as very feasible. A preliminary field testing involving eight students resulted in an average response score of 89.84% in the excellent category. This media is considered interesting, easy to use, and relevant to students' experiences, and is able to facilitate the process of reflection on FoMO. These findings indicate that the media is feasible and shows potential in facilitating students' engagement and reflection on the FoMO phenomenon. This research is limited to the development stage and has not tested its effectiveness empirically

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: to describe the improvement of planning and career planning for class XI TKJ 1 SMK Mambaul Falah Kudus after receiving guidance through a media genogram. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in four stages; Planning; Implementation; Observation; and Reflection. This research was conducted at SMK Mambaul Falah Kudus, the research subjects were students of class XI TKJ 1. Data collection techniques used observation and interview techniques. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive. The results showed that planning and career decisions in class XI TKJ SMK Mambaul Falah Kudus had increased. Pre cycle score obtained 37% category (Very Poor), cycle I increased with a score of 55% category (Less), cycle II increased to 74% category (Good). The conclusion in this research is that planning and career decisions in class XI TKJ 1 SMK Mambaul Falah Kudus have increased.

Abstract

Aspek pribadi dan sosial berkenaan dengan pemahaman dan pengembangan karakteristik, potensi, dan kecakapan-kecakapan yang dimilikinya, baik intelektual, sosial, fisik motorik maupun efektif emosional. Berdasarkan tahap perkembangannya, usia remaja disebut dalam masa transisi atau peralihan karena sedang mengalami perkembangan fisiologis––perubahan fisik primer maupun perubahan fisik sekunder––, perkembangan emosi––psikis atau mental yang mudah berubah-ubah/emosi tidak stabil––dan perkembangan sosial––tuntutan atau beban sosial––yang akan menimbulkan ketakutan, kecemasan bahkan rasa tidak percaya diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kajian pustaka. Berdasarkan penelitian ini didapatkanlah urgensi dari pelaksanaan bimbingan pribadi sosial untuk siswa SMK (remaja). Dalam hal ini adalah implementasi yang digunakan guru bimbingan konseling yaitu: metode tidak langsung diantaranya: bimbingan klasikal, kolaborasi dengan wali kelas, kolaborasi dengan orangtaua, kaloborasi dengan pihak terkait di luar dari sekolah, kunjungan rumah. Metode langsung yaitu: konseling individual, bimbingan kelompok, konseling kelompok, dan bimbingan individual.
