Abstract

Kebisingan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari perkembangan industri karena hampir semua proses produksi di industri akan menimbulkan kebisingan. Kebisingan juga dapat menyebabkan gangguan yang berpotensi mempengaruhi kenyamanan dan kesehatan terutama berasal dari kegiatan operasional peralatan pabrik. Pekerja lapangan PLTD/G setiap hari berhubungan dengan mesin-mesin pembangkit listrik yang memiliki tingkat kebisingan yang tinggi. Risiko kerusakan pendengaran (damage risk on hearing) pada pekerja dapat disebabkan oleh bising yang tinggi atau waktu kumulatif paparan yang berlebihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kebisingan yang ada dilokasi penelitian dan mengetahui waktu pemaparan maksimal yang diperbolehkan untuk bepekerja berada pada lokasi kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah melakukan perhitungan tingkat kebisingan yang terjadi di PT. PLN (Persero) Unit PLTD/G Teluk Lembu Pekanbaru berdasarkan KepMenLH Nomor 48 Tahun 1996 dan SNI 7231-2009 kemudian melakukan evaluasi waktu maksimal pekerja terpapar kebisingan yang ditimbulkan berdasarkan metode perhitungan NIOSH. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat empat titik yang berada dibawah Nilai Ambang Batas (NAB) Kepmenaker No. 51 Tahun 1999 sedangkan sisanya diatas NAB. Waktu terlama pemaparan yaitu titik 2 dengan waktu pemaparan maksimal selama 88,89jam, sedangkan waktu pemaparan paling singkat yaitu titik 13 dengan lama pemaparan diperbolehkanhanya selama 5,68 menit

Abstract

Untuk menunjang proses produksi guna memenuhi tuntutan peningkatan produktivitas,maka pabrik kelapa sawit telah menerapkan sistem mekanisasi pada alat dan mesin industri pengolahan buah sawit. Dengan penerapan mekanisasi produksi, dapat menimbulkan dampak kurang baik bagi kesehatan tenaga kerja, salah satunya adalah gangguan kebisingan saat bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif solusi permasalahan kebisingan di lokasi penelitian menggunakan conceptual model. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan pengukuran kebisingan yang diambil pada 139 titik di areal produksi dan loading ramp, kemudian dibandingkan dengan batas maksimum intensitas kebisingan yang diperbolehkan di tempat kerja dan melakukan perhitungan lamanya pekerja boleh terpapar kebisingan. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa ada 43 titik yang melebihi baku mutu dan kebisingan tertinggi dititik 69 dengan 99,7 dB. Lama pemaparan maksimal dititik tersebut diperbolehkan hanya 16,08 menit jika tidak menggunakan Alat Perlindungan Diri. Pengendalian kebisingan dengan conceptual model dapat dilakukan secara internal yaitu dengan pengendalian di sumber, di perantara ataupun di penerima. Adapun pengendalian secara eksternal dilakukan dengan melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan rutin, pelatihan K3 dan pemasangan rambu penanda kebisingan.

Abstract

Sungai Sail yang dianggap berpotensi untuk dijadikan sumber air baku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kuantitas Sungai Sail terkait debit andalan, keseimbangan air Sungai Sail yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber air baku, dalam hal ini penyedian air bersih untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat Kecamatan Bukit Raya. Hasil perhitungan didapatkan debit andalan 95% Sungai Sail sebesar 0,21 m3/s. Kebutuhan air bersih domestik dan non domestik  pada tahun 2033 sebesar 0,283 m3/dt. Berdasarkan besarnya debit yang tersedia di sungai dan besarnya kebutuhan air bersih diketahui keseimbangan air Sungai Sail mengalami defisit air sebesar -0,073 m3/s.

Abstract

TPA Muara Fajar adalah tempat pengolahan sampah akhir Kota Pekanbaru, yang operasionalnya menggunakan sistem open dumping, yaitu sampah dibuang dan diletakkan begitu saja di tanah lapang. Sistem open dumping di TPA akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas lingkungan, khususnya air tanah dangkal di sekitar TPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui ekokinetika (perjalananan) air lindi di air tanah sekitar TPA. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengambilan sampel air tanah dangkal dari 4 lokasi sampel dengan mempertimbangkan jarak lokasi dengan TPA Sampah. Pada masing-masing lokasi yaitu L1, L2, L3 dan L4 diambil 5 sampel air tanah pada sumur penduduk, kemudian dikomposit menjadi satu. Analisis sifat fisika, kimia dan mikrobiologi air tanah dilakukan secara in-situ dan di laboratorium. Dari hasil penelitian air lindi dari TPA berpengaruh terhadap kualitas air tanah dangkal, pada jarak 0 – 100 m dari TPA (L1) terdapat 10 parameter yang melebihi baku mutu yaitu Bau, Rasa, pH, DO, BOD, Amonia, Timbal, Seng, Tembaga, dan Krom, Lokasi 2 (L2) pada jarak 100 – 200 m terdapat sembilan parameter yang melebihi baku mutu antara lain Bau, rasa, pH, DO, BOD, ammonia, Timbal, Tembaga, dan Krom, Lokasi 3 (L3) pada jarak 200 -300 m terdapat 5 parameter yang melebihi baku mutu yaitu pH, DO, Seng, Tembaga, dan Krom. Lokasi 4 (L4) sebagai kontrol >1km. masih terdapat 3 parameter pencemar yang melebihi baku mutu, atara lain: DO, Tembaga dan Krom. Ekokinetika air lindi sudah mencapai jarak terjauh yaitu > 1 km, masih ditemukan kadar logam berat yang melebihi baku mutu, dengan kata lain sudah dalam kondisi tercemar sehingga air sumurnya dapat dikatakan tidak layak untuk dikonsumsi.Kata kunci : Air lindi, Air tanah dangkal, Ekokinetika, TPA Muara Fajar

Abstract

The people in Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency meet their drinking water needs from bottled water, dug wells, river water and springs based on the 2018 RPIJM Pelalawan Regency. The quality and quantity of drinking water has not been guaranteed. The need for water in Ukui District in 2019-2038 is 111.24 L / sec, so it is necessary to plan a drinking water supply system for the next 20 years. The transmission system that carries raw water comes from the Air Hitam River. Based on the mass balance analysis, it is found that units capable of treating raw water with water quality are in accordance with PERMENKES number 492 of 2010. The processing units are planned for intake, pre-sedimentation, neutralization, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection. This plan is also equipped with supporting buildings, namely chemical buildings, water towers, sludge treatment units and office buildings. The drinking water supply system plans a drinking water distribution pipeline network made using EPANET 2.0 software, namely the main pipe network. Abstract

PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja in its operational activities has the potential to generate noise coming from urea fertilizer production Workers who are constantly exposed to noise have the potential to affect workers' health and comfort. The purpose of this research is to know the intensity of noise generated by urea fertilizer production machine, exposure time, map of noise distribution pattern, and noise control effort. The noise measurement method refers to the noise mapping method and the tool used is the Sound Level Meter (SLM). Measurement based on the noise mapping method is done for 1 day. The results showed that from 115 points of measurement, there were 2 points showing numbers that exceeded the quality standard. The highest noise level is 86.6 dB where it is very close to the noisy source, and the lowest noise level is 65 Db which is far enough from the noisy source. Based on the calculation using NIOSH formula from 115 point of noise mapping method, there are 113 dots showing exposure time above NIOSH recommended standard. The highest noise level was 86,6 dB with a duration of 5,1 hours and the lowest noise level was 65 dB with a duration of 8000 hours. Sound mapping using the Surfer 13 program to find out the pattern of noise distribution caused by the noise mapping method. Based on the results of Surfer 13 shown by different colors of blue purple green yellow orange and red. Abstract

Biocoagulant is a natural coagulant that has an active substance and has a role as cationic which is able to bind colloidal particles in water. Chitosan is a non-toxic, easy-to-degrade and polyelectrolyte biocogulant that can be found in crustacean animals especially in s (Pomacea Canaliculata). The availability of shell waste has a huge potential to be used as raw material for making chitosan. High concentration of detergent in water can cause water quality to decrease and environmental pollution in the form of increase of phosphate level, so that the previous processing is needed by using coagulation-flocculation method. The research process was done gradually starting from the extraction of shells to chitosan by deproteination process, demineralization, and deacetylation, followed by Coagulation-flocculation method. The study was conducted by varying the dose of coagulant by 200 mg / L, 250 mg / L, 300 mg / L, 350 mg/L and 400 mg / L. The effluent was then analyzed by the laboratory, for phosphate refers to SNI 06-6989.31-2005. The result of the analysis was then compared with the PERMENLH / 5/2014 quality standard. Based on the laboratory results, after analyzing the concentration of the parameters tested, it showed that the maximum allowance of phosphate parameters were 67.57% respectively at 300 mg / L, coagulant dose with stirring speed of 150 rpm for 2 min and 60 rpm for 15 min followed by deposition for 30 min. The result of the analysis is compared with the PERMENLH / 5/2014 quality standard. the results of the analysis for phosphate values have met the quality standard, where the standard limit of laundry liquid waste for phosphate 2 mg/L.Keywords: Biocoagulant, chitosan, coagulation-flocculation, phosphate

Abstract

Drinking water is a qualified health water and it can be drink directly. Water drinked demand consist of domestic and non domestic or also known as the amounth of water reasonably necessary for basic human need and for other activity which need water. Water drinking demand in Balai Panjang village and Limbukan village are count base on population projection use four methods and the elected is geometric method. From the counting result, prediction of population in both the village until 2021 reach 4.536 people, which is in this plan, all of citizen will underserved with water drinking by house connecting type. Total of water demand average in both of village are 3,780 ltr/sec with rate of water loss are 20%. So, total water drinking demand in Balai Panjang village and Limbukan village until 2021 reach 4,536 ltr/sec.Keywords: Air Minum, Kebutuhan Air Minum, Pertumbuhan Penduduk, Proyeksi Geometri.

Abstract

Tofu liquid waste contains organic compounds which are generally high. One of the treatments to reduce pollutant level in tofu liquid waste is coagulation and flocculation. The aim of this study was to study the effect of variations dosage of Aloe vera and the speed of stirring on the removal of tofu liquid waste by coagulation and flocculation using the Aloe vera as biocoagulant. This research was carried out with variations dosage of Aloe vera of 80; 120 dan 160 ml/l and the stirring speed variations of 30; 60 dan 90 rpm. The results showed the highest removal efficiency of COD, BOD and TSS at a dose of coagulant 160 ml/ l with a stirring speed of 60 rpm each of 61,90%, 49,97% and 89,73% Keywords: Tofu Liquid Waste, Dosage, Stirring Speed, Coagulation-Flocculation, Aloe Vera.

Abstract

Kecamatan Tampan is the largest population District in Kota Pekanbaru with the population in 2017 are 285.932 people. The system of collecting and transporting municipal solid waste in Kecamatan Tampan currently uses indirect system for domestic waste and direct system for non-domestic waste. However, in its implementation, the transport system has not been effective in transporting waste. The result showed that the percentage of waste transported to landfill was 76%. Exceeding the target of Minimum Service Standart (SPM) for municipal solid waste transportation. Designing collection and transportation system using depo transfer increase the frequency of ritation from 14 rites to 23 rites and the addition of 12m 3 armroll container in Pasar Selasa and TPS SMPN 21. Municipal solid waste transportation cost per ton are Rp.45.743. Planned that the service percentage will be 90% at the end of design period. The needs of collection and transportation vehicles at the end of design period are 41 units 3m3 pickup, 7 units 10m3 dump truck 1 unit 12m3 armroll truck and 2 units 30m3 tronton truck.Keywords: Kecamatan Tampan, Transportation system, Ritation, Depo transfer
