Abstract

Worldwide Covid-19 pandemic leads people live in healthy life to avoid this disease. Wash hand using clean water and hand soap or hand sanitizer is one of the forms of reducing the possibility to suffer from Covid-19. The making of hand sanitizer is essential to be introduced to the society through community engagement activities. This activity aims to improve the skill of the audience to produce alcohol based-hand sanitizer. Along with Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, the Centre for Science and Technology UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta conducted a workshop for producing alcohol based-hand sanitizer. This workshop is presented to DWP UIN Raden Mas Said members. The workshop was delivered by using an educational training lecture; lecture and training. The trainer introduced the materials and the step by step of making hand sanitizer. After the workshop, evaluation is conducted by distributing online-questionnaire to the audience. Four aspects were evaluated are material for producing hand sanitizer, tools and instruments for producing hand sanitizer, production process of the hand sanitizer, and what are the role and function of material for hand sanitizer. By using Wilcoxon sign-test, the results of the evaluation show that the audience have a significant understanding in terms of the knowledge to material and tools for producing hand sanitizer.

Abstract

Consuming or utilizing products derived from the pig is forbidden for Muslims. This study describes Islamic university students' understanding of pig derivative products of food and non-food products. This research was conducted by using a questionnaire to collect data. The indicators used in this data are information about various types of products, forms in pig terms, and indicators of product purchasing decisions. The sample used in this study amounted to 350 respondents. Overall, Islamic University students stated that the status of pig derivative products, both food and non-food, is haram. This study shows a relationship between organizations students follow and their knowledge of pig derivative products. However, this is unfollowed by their behavior when buying non-food products. They do not consider the halal status of non-food products except cosmetics products. This result can be valuable information in further halal awareness studies. Gen Z has to increase their knowledge about pig products and their derivatives daily. This result implies that halal knowledge will lead consumers to be more selective in choosing products and suggest institutions or governments socialize halal awareness and education through halal courses or halal training.

Abstract

Sekarang ini, kereta api menjadi moda transportasi yang prospective bagi para komuter. Oleh karena itu, jalur komuter dikembangkan di beberapa kota di Indonesia untuk menyediakan kendaraan umum bagi masyarakat. Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) Solo-Yogyakarta adalah salah satu jalur komuter yang ada di Indonesia. Jalur ini mulai beroperasi sejak tahun 2021. Untuk meningkatkan layanan commuterline, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara kepuasan pelanggan dan kualitas layanan. Lima dimensi dari Kualitas Layanan yang diusulkan oleh Parasuraman digunakan dalam penelitian ini. ridge regression diterapkan dalam penelitian untuk mengatasi kolinearitas antarvariabel independennya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel kualitas layanan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan KRL Solo-Yogyakarta. Variabel keberwujudan dan empati adalah dua variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terbesar terhadap kepuasan pelanggan KRL Solo-Yogyakarta yaitu sebesar 0,399 dan 0,326 untuk variabel keberwujudan dan empati.

Abstract

Purpose: Determining the mitigation strategy for earthquake-induced disaster. The primary objective of this review is to distill valuable lessons than can help minimize the tragic consequences of earthquake-induced disasters. Methodology: This study comprises a meta-ethnography analysis drawing from various scientific manuscripts, online news sources, and Youtube channels. The manuscript scrutinizes five profoundly impactful earthquakes in Indonesia, specifically: Aceh earthquake, Padang earthquake, Yogyakarta earthquake, Palu earthquake, and Banten Earthquake Results: The proposed strategies outlined in this manuscript encompass the establishment of early warning systems for disaster preparedness, the implementation of urban planning for disaster-resilience, the identification of seismic hazard zone in densely populated areas, the enhancement of disaster education, and the promoting of earthquake-resistance construction practices. Applications/Originality/Value: The strategy for mitigating earthquake-induced disaster should follow the characteristics of disaster in the specific area. Understanding previous history of earthquake is prominent to determining the earthquake-induced disaster mitigation strategy.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEvaluation of Public Transportation in Surakarta through Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment: Public transport is prominent to reduce the use of private vehicle that contributes to traffic jam. The use of public transport is also encouraged by the government to minimize the environmental pollution caused by the huge use private vehicles. Surakarta is one of cities in Indonesia which provides public transport for society. It has been operated for long time. However, since 2010, Surakarta replaced all of old buses and launched Batik Solo Trans (BST) as the modern public transport in the city. This study is conducted to develop the service of BST. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) framework was applied for data analysis in this study. Fuzzy logic is implemented in this study to get better decision. Result of this method shows that bus ticket price is the highest important to customer attribute. It is followed by the safety tools in the bus. Meanwhile, the highest customer satisfaction is safety in the bus. Based on the House of Quality (HOQ) analysis, the critical of activities should be conducted by the BST are training and education for staffs, bus maintenance and development, and provide staff in the bus shelter. Training and education for staffs have close relation how staff treats the passenger. It affects passenger satisfaction and their interest to use public transport.Keywords: public transport; Batik Solo Trans; Quality Function Deployment; fuzzy logicABSTRAKKendaraan umum sangat penting untuk mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi yang menyebabkan kemacetan di jalan. Penggunakan kendaraan umum juga dianjurkan oleh negara untuk mengurangi polusi udara yang diakibatkan oleh banyaknya penggunakan kendaraan pribadi. Surakarta adalah salah satu kota di Indonesia yang menyediakan kendaraan umum bagi masyarakat. Kendaraan umum ini sudah beroperasi sejak lama. Tetapi, sejak 2010, pemerintah Surakarta mengganti semua kendaraan umum lamanya dan meluncurkan Batik Solo Trans (BST) sebagai kendaraan umum modern di dalam kota. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan layanan BST. Kerangka kerja Quality Function Deployment (QFD) digunakan untuk analisis data dalam penelitian ini. Fuzzy logic diterapkan di sini supaya keputusannya lebih baik. Hasil dari metode ini diketahui bahwa harga tiket adalah atribut nilai kepentingannya paling tinggi. Selanjutnya alat-alat keamanan di dalam bus menjadi hal yang penting diperbaiki. Sementara itu, kepuasan tertinggi dari penumpang adalah keamanan di dalam bus. Berdasarkan analisis dalam matriks-matriks di House of Quality (HOQ) aktifitas kritis yang harus dilakukan oleh BST adalah pelatihan dan pendidikan karyawan, pemeliharaan dan pengembangan bus, dan menyediakan petugas di halte. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendidikan untuk karyawan memiliki hubungan erat dengan bagaimana karyawan akan memperlakukan penumpang. Ini akan memberi pengaruh terhadap kepuasan dan keinginan penumpang untuk menggunakan kendaraan umum.Kata Kunci: kendaraan umum; Batik Solo Trans; Quality Function Deployment; fuzzy logic

Abstract

Car sales increase along with the increasing number of populations. Unfortunately, modern transportation has negative consequences to environment. This situation led world leader to encourage vehicle manufacturers to develop more environmentally vehicle such as electric car that produce less pollution. Jakarta is one on leading market of car in Indonesia can be the main target of the electric car. However, the electric car in Indonesia is categorized an early developed vehicle and the market is very limited. This study examines the intention of young people in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi to purchase electric car. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is applied in this study. The result shows that all variable of TAM has significant contribution to purchase intention. The influence of perceived ease of use to perceived usefulness is significant. This in turns affect to attitude towards using electric vehicle that contributes to the intention to purchase electric vehicle.

Abstract

SERVQUAL was appliedin this study for measuring service quality in Shariah Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRIS). Due toits shariah characteristic, compliance dimension was integrated into SERVQUAL dimensions and fuzzy theory was integrated for assessing the perception and expectation of customers.T statistic test and GLM modeling was applied to test the significant of the gaps of each item and to understand the dimensions which has more contribution to service quality of the bank.From this research, concludes that the gap was significant statistically. Furthermore, tangibilitydimension was the worst quality of BRIS, but empathy is the best quality
