Abstract

This study aims to analyze the synergy between tourism and agriculture to increase the exchange rate of farmers in the Tabanan Regency area. A literature review approach with a focus on critical review was used in this study. Based on previous research, the study looked at how the Tabanan district's policies affect how tourism and farming work together. The components analyzed are the rationalization and realization of policy implementation related to the analyzed review. This research is a critical literature review to assess, compare, and compile strategy characteristics. The results obtained from the synergy between tourism and agriculture in Tabanan Regency have the potential to be implemented to increase the farmer exchange rate. The idea of mutualism between the two sectors is expected to help tourist villages grow. Improving the size and quality of tourist villages, with the help of local governments, will lead to changes affecting farmers' incomes and exchange rates. They will be able to see the well-being of their farmers. Factors that must be realized to make this synergy concept a success include: 1) the Tabanan Regency Government can facilitate the development of tourist villages; 2) farmers are expected to be open to accepting synergy models of work with the tourism sector, and 3) tourism actors assist farmers in identifying local potentials that have economic value. The policy will likely lead to more and better tourist villages, raising farmers' exchange rates and improving their lives. In conclusion, combining tourism and agriculture makes much sense. The rationalization of policies that local governments and farmers work on can help increase farmers' exchange rates locally and regionally.

Abstract

For the government, the Cash Social Transfers program is a form of policy in order to help ease the burden of living for impoverished communities and affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Cash Social Transfers is a form of social security program by the central government in the form of cash benefits to protect family welfare during the Covid-19 pandemic. Cash Social Transfers does not directly impact on increasing people's purchasing power, but the program brings benefits to them, generally short-term, namely to meet daily needs such as basic necessities, because the burden of expenses that must be borne is higher than the funds received from the Cash Social Transfers program. This research was conducted on all families in Buleleng Regency with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data collection in this study was conducted using observation, questionnaire, and interview methods. The data analysis technique used in this research is logit (logistic regression). The result of the research concludes that the variables of Cash Social Transfers and demography variables (age, education, occupation, number of family members, and gender) simultaneously affect or have positive correlation with family welfare in Buleleng Regency. Partially there is a positive correlation between Cash Social Transfers and demography variables (age, education, occupation, number of family members, and gender) to the family welfare.

Therefore, the Government is trying to ensure that today's Indonesian children grow into a quality generation because they will be the backbone of Indonesia in 2045. The challenge that is currently emerging is the threat of stunting among toddlers. The causes of stunting are economic factors, disease, and malnutrition. The activity was carried out in Mas Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, targeting 20 posyandu and PKK cadres. Abstract

ABSTRACT Bali is the third largest waste producing province in Indonesia compared to other provinces in Indonesia. Most waste bank managers are women who are members of community and traditional organizations. The problem that exists is that the potential and condition of waste banks are not properly identified so that many do not receive the government's attention, so their sustainability is threatened. The aim of this community service is to map the condition and potential of waste banks in two locations, namely Denpasar City and Gianyar Regency. The service method is in the form of FGD with women who manage waste banks. Based on the results of the FGD, the conditions, constraints and hopes of waste bank managers were formulated. The next conclusion is that women managing waste banks still do not fully know and have access to the use of digital technology to improve the sustainability of waste banks. A strategy that can be implemented is to increase socialization and assistance to women who manage waste banks. Key words: women, waste bank; digital technology; sustainability

Abstract

The macro health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic that resulted in an economic slump in Bali exposed the need for economic development outside the tourism sector. Manufacturing Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) is one sector that contributes significantly to the economy, export value, and employment, particularly during moments when the tourism sector is down. This study aims to determine the performance of manufacturing MSEs during 2018-2021 using Cobb-Douglas stochastic frontier production function analysis. The Technical Inefficiency (TE) value of manufacturing MSEs in Bali was 22.24% over 2018-2021. The impact of COVID-19 on each ISIC and business location has a varied impact on the production value of MSEs Manufacturing. The gender of the business owner, financial service, age of workers, and source of raw materials are inefficiency variables that significantly affect production value. However, the training received by manufacturing MSEs had no significant effect. The findings from this study can be used as a basis for government policy in further developing the untapped potential of manufacturing MSEs in Bali regarding impacts upon Bali's tourism sector during the pandemic.JEL Classification: D24, E23, J16, L86, O14 How to Cite:Candrawati, I.A., & Purwanti, P.A.P. Abstract

Circular economy literacy efforts are important considering that the waste awareness index in Indonesia is still worrying. If we look at the data from the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN), food waste dominates the composition of waste based on waste type, namely 40.2 percent. When looking at the source, it is known that households are the largest source of waste (38.3 percent). Considering these data and facts, preventive efforts need to be carried out at the household level, especially regarding food waste. This activity aims to provide education for mothers regarding the circular economy and food waste behavior to minimize food waste, especially in its preparation or better known as food preparation. It is also believed that this effort will have a positive impact on the family's economy. This activity is carried out through the outreach method, and is also accompanied by a pre-test and post-test as a form of evaluation. The locus of the activity will be carried out in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, targeting the local village PKK (family welfare empowerment) team. The aim is that information and activity materials can be distributed and implemented widely. After comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test, it was discovered that there had been an increase in service participants' understanding of the circular economy and food preparation. It is certainly important to continue this activity, one of which is through assistance in preparing circular economy programs through the PKK.

Abstract

The various employment sectors in Bali will definitely require human resources in it. In the workforce there is a labor force participation rate (TPAK) which means the percentage of the total workforce to the population who are ten years old and above. The female labor force participation rate in Bali in 2021 was 67.61 percent and in 2022 was 69.62 percent, which increase of 2.01 percent (Badan Pusat Statistik Bali, 2022). This shows an increase in the contribution of women in the labor sector. This study aims to analyze the effect of work intensity, worker status, education, and age of working married women simultaneously and partially on family income in Bali province. A non-participant observation approach was used by collecting data through the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) questionnaire organized by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The research method applied is multiple linear regression, which involves a series of statistical tests such as normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, F-test, and t-test. The result of this research shows that work intensity, permanent worker status, self-employment status, education, and age of married women in Bali Province simultaneously have significant effects on family income. The result also shows that work intensity, education, and age partially have a significant positive effect on family income, while permanent worker status and self-employment status do not have a significant effect.
