Abstract

The learning process in the Design Crafts Course emphasizes on practice learningthrough crafting from the student’s creative design that boast an aesthetic value. TheCOVID-19 pandemic affects the practical learning process, so it requires an appropriatestrategy to support the learning process. This study aims to explain the process andstages of online-based learning video making in the Design Craft Course and to test thefeasibility of the videos. The study falls under the criteria of the RD research (Researchand Development) through the procedural model. The developed video was validatedby a media expert and a material expert before being tested for the fourth semesterstudents of the year 2018and 2019, with 12 students in total. The researchers madeuse of the Likert scale-based questionnaire to collect the data in order to get theresponses from the media expert, the material expert, and the students about the video.A descriptive statistic data analysis was utilized to analyze the obtained data, whichcame in the form of percentages. The results show that the making process of theonline-based learning video met the good category with the percentage of70.83%, based on the results of the media expert test. The result of the material experttest is 89.58% which is very good; and the result of the students’ responses to onlinebasedlearning video in the Design Craft Course is 86.85%, which is in the very goodcategory. From the results, it can be concluded that video-based learning can be appliedfor the fourth semester students of the Design Craft Course at the Family WelfareProgram in the Faculty Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University. Basedon the results and the conclusions of the research, it is suggested that to increase theeffectiveness of the video-based learning, researchers can carry out face-to-facelearning experiments and evaluations.Keywords: Video-Based Learning, Online-Based Craft Learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model type Pair Check Software Geogebra assisted on the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of class X trigonometric material is achieving effective learning. This research is an experimental research. The population of this study are all classes of X MIPA. The independent variables in this research are process skill and independence, while the dependent variable is ability of comprehensionof mathematical concept. The results of this study indicate that: (1) learners using Geogebra software assisted Pair Check model achieved completeness of 85.294% more than 80% with the completeness criterion 75, (2) the effect test showed the influence of independence and process skill towards understanding mathematical concept in application of learning model type of Pair Check Software Geogebra assisted by 81,9%. (3) Different test results show that there is a difference in theaverage ability of understanding of mathematical concepts between using a type of learning model of Pair Check with Geogebra Software assisted by 80.00 with an expository learning model of 75.470. Based on those three things, it shows that the implementation of Pair Check model is Geogebra Software Assisted on the ability to comprehend mathematical concepts of effective class trigonometric materials.  Keywords: Pair Check, Geogebra Software, Understanding concept

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan modelpembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dan Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) pada materiVirus dikelas X SMA Al-Hidayah T.P 2016/2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAAl-Hidayah Medan yang terdiri dari 3 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 105 orang. Pengambilan sampel diambil secaraRandom sampling sebanyak dua kelas yaitu X-2 sebagai kelas Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan jumlahsiswa 33 orang dan kelas X-3 sebagai kelas Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dengan jumlah siswa 36orang, jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 69 orang. Alat yang digunakan untuk pengambilan dataadalah tes pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 30 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa padakelas X-2 Numbered Head Together (NHT) diperoleh 79,79 ± 9,50 dan pada kelas X-3 Student TeamsAchievement Division (STAD) diperoleh 76,75 ± 11,62. Adanya perbedaan hasil tersebut dibuktikan melaluipengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t dan taraf kepercayaan taraf α = 0,05, dimana thitung > ttabel (12,60> 1,998) yang berarti dalam penelitian ini H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkanbahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT lebih baik dari padatipe STAD pada materi virus dikelas X SMA Al-Hidayah T.P 2016/2017.Kata kunci : Hasil belajar, Kooperatif, Numbered Head Together, Student Teams Achievement Division, Virus

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengawasan dan penilaian kinerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan Pada PT. Remco Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 60 orang karyawan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, koefisien determinasi dan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan pengolahan data diperoleh persamaan regresi linear berganda Y= 3,250+0,271 15X1"> +0,656 15X2">  dan hasil koefisien determinasi 15R2">  sebesar 0,485 atau 48,5% dengan begitu pengawasan dan penilaian kinerja mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja sebesar 48,5% sedangkan sisanya 51,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Hasil uji F diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 artinya secara simultan, pengawasan dan penilaian kinerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Hasil uji t variabel pengawasan diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,006 kurang dari 0,05 artinya secara parsial, pengawasan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja dan variabel penilaian kinerja diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 artinya secara parsial, penilaian kinerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Kata Kunci: Pengawasan, Penilaian Kinerja, Produktivitas Kerja.  ABSTRACT The research objective is to determine the effect of supervision and performance evaluation on employee productivity at PT. Remco Palembang. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires to 60 employees. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing using the F test and t test. Based on data processing obtained by multiple linear regression equation Y = 3,250 + 0,271X_1 + 0,656X_2 and the results of the determination coefficient R ^ 2 of 0.485 or 48.5% so that supervision and performance evaluation affect work productivity by 48.5% while the remaining 51.5 % is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. F test results obtained a significant value of 0,000 less than 0.05 meaning that simultaneously, supervision and performance evaluation have a significant effect on work productivity. T-test results of the supervision variable obtained a significant value of 0.006 less than 0.05 meaning that partially, supervision has a significant effect on work productivity and performance appraisal variables obtained a significant value of 0,000 less than 0.05 meaning that partially, performance appraisal has a significant effect on work productivity .  Keywords: Supervision, Performance Appraisal, Work Productivity.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis inquiri sederhana adalah salah satu pembelajaran yang bisa membantu guru untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa, yang berkaitan tentang pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap materi yang disampaikan guru, proses sains dalam memecahkan permasalahan secara ilmiah, dan mengaplikasikan sains kedalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengkaji penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Inquiri Sederhana 2) Mengkaji perbedaan peningkatan Literasi Sains 3) Mengkaji respon siswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran Berbasis Inquiri Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persentase aktivitas siswa setiap indikatornya yaitu dmensi konten, proses sains, dan konteks sains pada pertemuan kedua mengalami peningkatan. Persentase tertinggi pada pertemuan pertama yaitu dimensi konteks sebesar 80% dan pertemuan kedua yaitu dimensi konten sebesar 88%. Hasil uji t menunjukan bahwa nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) yaitu Sig. 0,00 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,00 < 0,05) yang artinya H0 ditolak. Hasil angket siswa secara keseluruhan rata-rata merespon baik dan merasa senang belajar biologi dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis inquiri sederhana dengan kategori kuat yaitu sebesar 80%.Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas siswa setiap indikatornya mengalami penigkatan dan persentase rata-rata tertinggi terdapat pada dimensi konten, artinya siswa mampu memahami materi atau konsep yang dijelaskan oleh guru. Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan literasi sains siswa antara kelas yang menerapan pembelajaran berbasis inquiri sederhana dengan kelas yang tidak menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis inquiri sederhana. Siswa merespon baik dan merasa senang belajar biologi dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis inquiri sederhana.Kata kunci : Pembelajaran Berbasis Inquiri Sederhana, Literasi Sains

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study were to find out whether or not there were significant improvements in students’ writing achievement after they were taught by using feedback and significant difference between the students who were given feedback and that of those who were not.  Investigating the students’ perception   about teachers’ feedback was also the aim of this study. Applying the quasi-experimental research design, this study got involved 94 eighth graders of SMPN 3 Banyuasin 1 in the academic year of 2013/2014 as the population and the sample was 40 students who were selected based on their English proficiency test. The data for this study were collected by using a writing test and analyzed by using t-test and percentage analyses. The finding showed there was a significant improvement in the students’ writing achievement after they were received teachers’ feedback. There was also a significant difference between the students who were given feedback and that of those who were not. The finding also showed that teacher’s feedback was perceived very helpful by the students. To conclude, this study showed that teacher’s feedback played a very important role in helping students improved their writing performance. Key words: teacher’s feedback, writing achievement, students’ perception on teacher’s feedback

Abstract

ABSTRACT[Identification of Attenuation Coefficient and the Implementation to Know People Preparedness on Earthquake Disasters in Bengkulu City]. This study aims to identify attenuation coefficients against sediment susceptibility during an earthquake in the city of Bengkulu and map out hazardous areas during an earthquake based on attenuation coefficient values and its implementation to find out about community preparedness, and who live in earthquake-prone areas of the impact of the earthquake. This research was conducted with the method of field data collection in the Beringin Raya sub-district and the Kandang Limun village in the city of Bengkulu in the form of seismic micro data using a 3 component short-circuit seismometer. From 20 research points, the regions that have the highest attenuation coefficient are obtained at the coordinate point S: -3.75625 E: 102.2952222 and S: -3.75625 E: 102.2697778 which is 1.6x10-2. Mapping based on coefficient values at each point using ArcGIS 10.3 Software. As for educational / social research, the method used in community education / social research is to use a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The population in this study were all family heads in the Beringin Raya sub-district and Kandang Limun village. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaire techniques. The questionnaire analysis technique uses the correlation of the Produc Moment formula. Requirements for test analysis are carried out by testing empirical validity and reliability testing. the average community in Kelingin Beringin Raya and Keluran Kandang Limun is in the category of almost ready to deal with earthquake disasters, namely 47.14%. So that it still desperately needs knowledge about earthquake disasters. Keywords: Atenuation; coefficient; preparedness; earthquake; disaster.(Received April 20, 2018; Accepted December 10, 2018; Published February 26, 2019) ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi koefisien atenuasi terhadap kerentanan sedimen saat terjadi gempa bumi di kota Bengkulu dan memetakan area berbahaya saat terjadinya gempa berdasarkan nilai koefisien atenuasi. Serta implementasinya untuk mengetahui kesiapsiagaan masyaraka.  yang bertempat tinggal di daerah rawan gempa bumi terhadap dampak gempa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode pengambilan data lapangan di kelurahan Beringin Raya dan kelurahan Kandang Limun Kota Bengkulu berupa data mikro seismik menggunakan alat seismometer arus pendek 3 komponen. Dari 20 titik penelitian maka diperoleh daerah yang memiliki nilai koefisien atenuasi tertinggi yaitu di titik koordinat S:-3.75625 E: 102.2952222 dan  S: -3.75625 E: 102.2697778 yaitu sebesar  1,6x10-2. Pemetaan bedasarkan nilai koefien setiap titik menggunakan Software ArcGIS 10.3. Sedangkan untuk penelitian pendidikan/sosial masyarakat, metode yang digunakan adalah menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kepala keluarga yang ada di kelurahan Beringin Raya dan kelurahan Kandang Limun. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket. Teknik analisa butir angket menggunaka korelasi rumus Produc Moment. Persyaratan uji analisis dilakukan dengan uji validitas empiris dan uji reliabilitas. rata-rata masyarakat di Keluran Beringin Raya dan Keluran Kandang Limun tergolong pada kategori hampir siap dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi yaitu dengan persentase 47,14%. Sehingga masih sangat membutuhkan pengetahuan tentang bencana gempa bumi. Kata kunci: Koefisien; atenuasi; kesiapsiagaan; bencana; gempa bumi.

Abstract

In banking institutions, there are competent humant resources in their fields. To get the competent human resources, it is necessary to carry out training and deveopment of human resources. One of the efforts made by PT. Bank lampung Natar is routiney carrying out training and human resource deveopment for a employee divisions, especially the CS division given that CS is a front office that directly serves customers. This type of research is field research with the nature of quaitative descriptive research. Prmary data sources are Edwin Mayardo as supervisor and Eka Puji lestari as an employee CS division at PT. Bank lampung KCP Natar. The conclusion in this study is the implementation of HR development training CS division at PT. Bank lampung KCP Natar is held regularly with the aim of satisfying customers or prospective customers by providing quaity services to customers. As for the trainibng and deveompment of HR CS division that is the method of simulation, role playing and job rotation. The type of training and deveompment of HR CS division include skills training and retraining. After attending training and developing HR, CS is expected to satisfy customers or prospective customers by providing high quality services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan, menguji hubungan dan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh financial stability, nature of industry, rationalization dan change in director terhadap financial statement fraud. Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini karena financial statement fraud merupakan fraud yang paling sedikit terjadi namun kerugian yang diakibatkan cukup besar, banyak kasus financial statement fraud yang terjadi dalam dunia bisnis, serta adanya inkonsistensi hasil penelitian terdahulu. Sampel pada penelitian adalah 119 perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2014-2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan mengggunakan software eviews 9. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa: (1) rata-rata perusahaan yang menjadi sampel merupakan perusahaan yang memiliki rasio perubahan asset 0,08, rasio perubahan piutang 0,002, rasio total akrual terhadap total asset -0,02, rata-rata tidak melakukan pergantian direksi, dan memiliki nilai f score 0,21, (2) semakin tinggi financial stability, nature of industry, rationalization dan change in director maka semakin tinggi financial statement fraud, (3) Besarnya pengaruh secara bersama adalah 38,0694%, (4) semakin tinggi financial stability maka semakin tinggi financial statement fraud, (5) Besarnya pengaruh 8,25%, (6) semakin tinggi nature of industry maka semakin tinggi financial statement fraud, (7) Besarnya pengaruh 1,23%, (8) semakin tinggi rationalization maka semakin tinggi financial statement fraud, (9) Besarnya pengaruh 4,95%, (10) adanya change in director ataupun tidak maka tidak akan berpengaruh terhadap financial statement fraud, (10) Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang berarti, karena pengaruhnya sangat kecil yaitu 0,07392%, sehingga dapat dikatakan tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the number of cases of audit failure that mghasilka poor audit quality, alleged experience, independesi, gender auditor brpgaruh to the quality of audit supported by the inconsistencies of the results of previous research. The population in the study was a permanent auditor working atkap Central Jakarta registered in the IAPI 2019 directorate. The study population was 265 auditors. Determination of sample size using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used was probability sampling and the number of samples in this study was 72 fixed auditors. The research method used is descriptive and verifikative method. Data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 20. The results prove that: (1) auditor experience in KAP Central Jakarta belongs to the high category (2) auditor independence in KAP Central Jakarta including the very high category (3) gender auditors in KAP Central Jakarta dominated by men, the results showed female auditors are better at auditing.( 4) The quality of auditors at KAP Central Jakarta is of a high category,(5)the auditor's experience has a negative and insignificant effect on the partial audit quality,(6) Independence has a positive and significant effect on the quality of the audit partially,(7) gender negatively and significantly affects the quality of the audit partially, (8)experience, independence, the auditor's gender affects the quality of the audit simultaneously.
