Abstract

Uric acid, or gout, is a form of inflammatory arthritis caused by the accumulation of monosodium urate crystals in the joints. This buildup occurs due to increased uric acid levels in the blood (hyperuricemia), which can result from excessive uric acid production or inefficient excretion through the kidneys. This study aims to determine the relationship between elderly knowledge and the incidence of gout in Blangreuling Village. The research employs a cross-sectional design and involves elderly individuals in Blangreuling Village. The total population consists of 36 people, with the sample also comprising 36 individuals using a total sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires and secondary data, then analyzed using descriptive analysis to identify the relationship between elderly knowledge and gout incidence. The study results show that 22 elderly individuals (61.11%) have good knowledge, while 14 individuals (38.88%) have less knowledge. Additionally, 20 elderly individuals (55.55%) were diagnosed with gout. Bivariate analysis results indicate a significant relationship between knowledge and gout incidence (p < 0.05). This study is expected to contribute to a better understanding of gout among the elderly in rural communities and inform targeted public health interventions, as well as the development of effective prevention and management strategies for gout in the elderly population of Blangreuling Village.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Human Resource Management (HRM) has become a major focus for many organizations to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. One of the most prominent aspects is the implementation of automation in various HR processes, from recruitment, training, to performance appraisal. This study aims to analyze the effect of automation on the productivity and well-being of employees in the organization. By using quantitative methods through surveys to employees in several companies, the results showed that the implementation of automation in the HR sector can increase work productivity, reduce administrative burden, and provide more time for employees to focus on more strategic tasks. In addition, automation enables organizations to take more accurate, data-driven decisions, thereby increasing the effectiveness of HR strategies. However, automation also poses new challenges, including anxiety related to work roles, adaptation to technology, and employee mental well-being. Lack of training and effective communication can trigger resistance from employees to the changes taking place. Therefore, it is important for organizations to consider a balanced approach between technology and human aspects in the implementation of automation in HR management, including communication strategies and employee skill development so that the digital transition can run smoothly and sustainably.

Abstract

This research endeavours to explore the complexities and prospects associated with the incorporation of educational technology into the 2013 Curriculum, aiming to elevate the standard of learning outcomes. Adopting a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) framework guided by PRISMA protocols, the study systematically examines a wide array of scholarly works to gain insights into the evolution, constraints, and strategic applications of technology within the educational landscape. The analytical procedure encompasses the formulation of key research inquiries, the establishment of stringent inclusion and exclusion benchmarks, comprehensive literature retrieval from databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and JSTOR, meticulous article screening, data coding, and the synthesis of core findings. From an initial pool of 229 publications, a mere 21 articles satisfied the rigorous inclusion criteria after an exhaustive selection process. The analysis underscores several critical obstacles in the realm of technology integration, including disparities in digital infrastructure accessibility, inadequate technological proficiency among educators, resource scarcity in underdeveloped regions, and prevailing socio-cultural apprehensions towards the assimilation of technological tools in educational environments. Nevertheless, the study also highlights promising avenues, such as the strategic adoption of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, the expansion of e-learning ecosystems and digital platforms, alongside robust governmental initiatives aimed at fostering digital transformation within the education sector. Ultimately, the findings affirm that the effective integration of technology into the 2013 Curriculum possesses substantial potential to revolutionise learning quality, contingent upon the implementation of well-crafted policies, sustained professional development for educators, and the equitable distribution of technological resources throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

The transformation of culture and social identity in the digital age is becoming an increasingly complex phenomenon along with the development of information and Communication Technology. This study aims to understand how digital media affects the construction of social identity and cultural change in society. Using a qualitative approach, this study adopts the methods of digital ethnography, discourse analysis, and case studies to explore the experiences of individuals and communities in the digital space. The results showed that social identity becomes more flexible and can be reconstructed through interactions on social media. In addition, the phenomenon of glocalization occurs, in which the local culture adapts to the global culture in digital format. However, challenges such as cultural homogenization, filter bubbles and digital Identity Security also arise in this process. In conclusion, digital media not only accelerates cultural transformation but also creates new dynamics in the formation of social identity. Further studies are needed to explore the long-term impact of this phenomenon.

Abstract

Tax policies play a crucial role in shaping economic growth and investment decisions in an increasingly globalized world. This study examines the impact of globalization on national tax policies, focusing on tax competition, corporate taxation, and the challenges of maintaining revenue stability. Globalization has intensified tax competition among countries, often leading to reduced corporate tax rates to attract foreign investments. While tax incentives can stimulate economic activity, they may also erode government revenues and create disparities in tax burdens. This research explores the role of international tax treaties in harmonizing tax regulations and reducing tax avoidance strategies by multinational corporations. Furthermore, the study highlights the transition from income-based to consumption-based taxation as a response to shifting economic dynamics. The findings suggest that policymakers must balance tax competitiveness with sustainable revenue generation to ensure economic stability. By analyzing recent tax reforms and policy adaptations, this study provides insights into the complexities of taxation in a globalized economy and offers recommendations for future tax strategies.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of monetary policy on inflation rate, focusing on the role of interest rates, money supply, and bank credit. Using a quantitative approach, this research analyzes how these variables influence inflation through statistical methods. The study employs multiple linear regression analysis to determine the relationships between the independent and dependent variables. Secondary data from official financial reports and economic publications provide the basis for analysis. The findings suggest that interest rates have a negative relationship with inflation, meaning an increase in interest rates can help reduce inflationary pressures. Meanwhile, money supply and bank credit have a positive relationship with inflation, indicating that higher liquidity and credit availability contribute to rising inflation. The statistical tests confirm that the model used is valid and reliable, ensuring accurate interpretations of the results. This study underscores the importance of monetary policy adjustments in maintaining price stability. Policymakers should carefully manage interest rates, money supply, and credit distribution to effectively control inflation and promote economic stability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Financial Technology (Fintech) in improving financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia. Fintech has grown rapidly and become a solution for people who previously had limited access to formal financial services. Using quantitative methods, this study involved 310 respondents who are users of Fintech services in Indonesia. Data was collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the use of Fintech has a significant effect on improving financial literacy, especially through the financial education feature in the application. In addition, Fintech also plays a role in increasing financial inclusion by providing wider access to digital banking services, online loans, and digital-based investments. However, there are some challenges in utilizing Fintech, such as low digital literacy and concerns regarding data security. Therefore, policies that support the development of Fintech that are more inclusive and educative are needed so that the benefits can be optimally felt by the community.
