Abstract

Developments in the industrial world, especially in the field of computer technology, demand solutions to needs ranging from computing resources, storage media, and communication speeds. This was followed by many new studies in this field, including those related to clustering. Clustering is an exploratory data analysis tool that deals with the task of grouping objects that are similar to each other [1], [2]. Clustering requires computers with high resources, usually the price for computers with high resources, while computers with not too high specifications will be less reliable in handling such large data. Clustering that runs on a single-core processor takes a long time to execute tasks, so parallel computing is needed to speed up computing performance especially at Automatic Clustering. This research will produce faster performance in grouping large data by utilizing parallel computing and automatic clustering methods as methods for grouping data. This technology allows data processing to be carried out in parallel and distributed in hundreds or even thousands of computers, so this technology is very appropriate for processing very large amounts of data)

Abstract

Multi-player online games have a matchmaking system, where two or more players can meet each other in a virtual room [19][20]. Players do not gain competitive experience when the matchmaking system uses a single parameter because the system cannot recognize players properly. Previous studies carried out several matchmaking methods, namely skill-based, behavior-based, role-based, and latency-based. However, few studies have discussed the computation of multi-parameter aggregation. We propose a matchmaking system that combines three essential things that become competitive matchmaking parameters: skill rating, behavior cluster, and location cluster. The Elo rating system will use to measure player ability. It will combine with player behavior clustering and player location clustering. It combines a statistical approach to managing distributions and unsupervised machine learning to identify players. Grouping players with machine learning methods is a new thing that has been researched in recent years [6][8]. The application of the algorithm with these parameters is carried out on the trivia education game to make it more competitive

Abstract

Stock exchange trading has been utilized to gain profit by constantly buying and selling best-performing stocks in a short term. Deep knowledge, time dedication, and experience are essential for optimizing profit if stock price fluctuations are analyzed manually. This research proposes a new trading prediction system that has the ability to automatically predict the accurate time for buying and selling stock using a combination of technical analysis and support vector machine (SVM). Technical analysis is used to analyze stock price fluctuation based on historical data by utilizing technical indicators such as moving average, Bollinger bands, relative strength index, stochastic oscillator, and Aroon oscillator. SVM maps inputs into higher dimensional spaces using non-linear kernel functions, making it suitable for various technical indicators implementation as inputs in stock trading prediction. Experimentation on five Indonesian stocks reveals that the combination of technical analysis and support vector machine is best suited for continuously fluctuated stocks, with the highest accuracy of 77.8%.
