Abstract

Society in this era can be said to the modern society with anything life sufficiency that is very easy to get, but there are still many societies that have not been released with their tradition that has been happened a long time before they are birth. Existence and continuance of activities of the traditional element, such as in Java culture which is known as count the day activity before the wedding held, salvation whether for a baby born or dead, and home construction, precisely these activities that bring diversity in multiculturalism element. Multiculturalism itself is the recognition that there are different cultures but they are still can live and develop within a similar environment without loss on either side. That thing becomes the basis of this article's writing. Trying to watch the difference is a natural thing in the multiculturalism framework.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah sebagai sarana upaya siswa untuk mengembangkan minat dan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis, membaca dan berkreasi yang dilaksanakan untuk seluruh warga sekolah. Gerakan pojok baca dapat menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap membaca kepada siswa, membuat mereka ingin mengerti terhadap suatu hal, dan akhirnya siswa mendapatkan perspektif dan pengetahuan baru. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan mendirikan pojok baca, pohon literasi dan pembuatan majalah dinding. Pojok literasi ini lebih dari sekedar membaca dan menulis, namun mencakup keterampilan berpikir seperti membuat cerita pendek, pantun, puisi, dan tulisan kreatif lainnya. Hasil pekerjaan tersebut kemudian dipresentasikan di kelas. Dengan menggunakan hasil kreativitasnya, para siswa ini dapat melatih keterampilan menulis dan berfikir kritis. Dari kegiatan yang dilakukan menjadikan para siswa lebih kreatif dalam menyebarluaskan karyanya sehingga keberadaan gerakan pojok baca dan majalah dinding ini akan terus berlanjut dengan hasil karya siswa di PPWNI Klang Malaysia.

Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai salah satu negara dengan jumlah pekerja migran yang signifikan, menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga identitas budaya bagi para pekerja migran yang tinggal di luar negeri. Salah satu aspek penting dalam menjaga warisan budaya adalah melalui pengenalan dan pelatihan seni tradisional kepada generasi muda, terutama pada anak pekerja migran indonesia tujuan penelitian pengabdian ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan dan melestarikan budaya Indonesia kepada anak-anak pekerja migran Indonesia di Malaysia. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode partisipatif, dengan melibatkan peserta didik di sanggar bimbingan kelas 4-6 yang berjumlah 23. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik tentang budaya Indonesia, peningkatan keterampilan tari mereka, serta peningkatan apresiasi terhadap budaya Indonesia. Pelatihan ini juga berhasil memperkuat identitas budaya peserta didik. Dengan demikian, pelatihan Tari Reyog Ponorogo telah berhasil menjadi bagian penting dalam pengenalan budaya Indonesia kepada anak pekerja migran Indonesia di Malaysia.

Abstract

This article aims to look at the government's role in fulfilling the right to basic education for the children of undocumented migrant workers in Malaysia. The research was conducted in the Kepong area of Selangor, Malaysia, with a qualitative method. Sources of data using primary and secondary data and data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained in this study show that the government has not been able to fulfill basic education rights for the children of migrant workers, especially those who do not have documents. The government is coordinating with community organizations, one of which is Muhammadiyah, to set up a guidance center that provides education rights for children of Indonesian migrant workers who do not have documents under the control of the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui upaya Kepala Sekolah dalam penguatan etika warga  digital di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. 2) Untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan hambatan dalam melaksanakan program penguatan etika warga digital di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian campuran yang didalamnya termuat tentang study literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui kegiatan wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan teknik interaksi data yang dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi data, serta penyajian data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1.upaya kepala sekolah dalam penguatan etika warga digital melalui; a)penyediaan sumber daya teknologi, sarana dan prasarana digital yang memadai. b) membuat tata tertib terkait etika warga digital di lingkungan sekolah. c)peningkatan spiritual terkait etika warga digital. 2.faktor pendukung dan penghambat, adanya faktor dukungan yang diantaranya; saling menjaga privasi, meningkatkan kesadaran beretika digital, penggunaan teknologi yang bertanggung jawab, serta pembuatan aturan tata tertib sekolah tentang Etika Digital. Adapun faktor penghambat diantaranya; kurangnya kesadaran dan pemahaman pentingnya etika warga digital, kurangnya pengawasan, adanya kesenjangan pemahaman antara pendidik dan siswa, membuat konsentrasi terganggu, dan perubahan teknologi yang pesat menjadi tantangan bagi para pendidik.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze how the implementation of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (Civics) learning for class X students at SMAN 3 Ponorogo through a problem based learning model. The method used was qualitative with informants namely teachers and students at SMAN 3 Ponorogo. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained are that it can be seen that the implementation of problem based learning in class The aim of the problem based learning model is to change students' way of thinking to be more critical and increase their creativity in thinking to face, formulate and solve existing problems. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of the problem based learning model in class X in Civics subjects is good because it has been able to make class.

Abstract

The issue of global diversity is an interesting one and must be introduced to native Indonesian students studying in Malaysia, one of whom is the Klang Malaysia Indonesian Citizen Education Center (PPWNI). The last study showed that seventh-grade students at PPWNI Klang, Malaysia, did not yet understand the meaning of global diversity. This study aims to describe the strategies of school principals and teachers to shape the character of global diversity in citizenship education and find out what diversity values are implemented in students. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis of research on students at the Indonesian Citizenship Education Center (PPWNI) in Klang, Malaysia, shows that the level of understanding of students still does not understand the meaning of global diversity. The activities carried out by school principals, teachers, and researchers in developing an attitude of global diversity in students by doing habituation at school, such as providing reading material on multicultural education, providing an understanding through Pancasila Education and Citizenship, and providing an understanding of global diversity through the media of global diversity posters. The implications of this research can make it easier for students to learn and understand individual differences and develop a tolerant attitude towards different people. Some of the results of the above activities that are most effective in providing students with an understanding of global diversity are achieved by using poster media, which can facilitate students' understanding of learning about differences and developing an attitude of empathy towards different people.

Abstract

Noble character is very important for students, and this research will see how each student's character develops. Kepong Guidance Center is a place of study for undocumented Indonesian students living in Malaysia. This consultancy studio supports the teaching of Indonesian students in Malaysia. This article is structured as follows: 1) Religious education is very important to develop students' morally upright character. However, because everyone's temperament varied greatly, it was common for students to get along badly, 2) The aim of this study is to investigate the role of the Kepong Guidance Center in shaping the character of students. 3) This study used qualitative approach and the method of the data collection was using observations and interviews. 4) engage in activities that help children develop their character and adopt noble attitudes, such as placing them in groups to plan lessons and encourage sharing. 5) Based on the findings above, it can be concluded that the teachers at Kepong Guidance Center play a crucial role in shaping the character of students and fostering a noble Islamic generation. The study showed that the students' character improved swiftly and that they found it easy to understand and practice what had been taught and guided. However, many students still require additional instruction to further develop their admirable character traits, and many pupils at the Kepong Guidance Center face challenges in their homes.

Abstract

The objective of this research is identify and understand the impact of strengthening civic education on the nationalism attitudes of children of Indonesian migrant workers in Selangor, Malaysia, and provide guidelines to strengthen their nationalism identity. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods and participatory and collaborative approaches. Data were collected through observation, interviews, data analysis and documentation of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Hulu Langat Guidance Center. The data analysis technique used is Qualitative data analysis technique including Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing or Verification. The results showed that the strengthening of comprehensive civic education had a significant effect on the knowledge and nationalism attitudes of children of migrant workers, including the Indonesian president, the basis of the state and the application of the Pancasila precepts in everyday life. So it is concluded that strengthening comprehensive civic education has a very important role in improving the nationalism attitudes of children of migrant workers
