Abstract

This study aims to develop augmented reality-based Flashcard learning media as an effort to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Podorejo 03 in the subject of Pancasila Education. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), following the ADDIE model applied across all research stages. Data collection techniques include tests and non-test methods, where the test technique involves pretest and posttest results, while the non-test methods consist of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation as supporting data. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques were employed. The research subjects comprised 10 fourth-grade students for the small group trial and 20 fourth-grade students for the large group trial. The results of testing the augmented reality-based Flashcard learning media demonstrated its feasibility, as validated by media experts (93%) and material experts (88%), both classified as highly feasible. The effectiveness of this learning media is evidenced by improved student learning outcomes, as reflected in the pretest and posttest scores. In the small group trial, the scores increased from 64.9 to 79.2, with an N-gain score of 40%, categorized as moderate. Similarly, in the large group trial, the pretest and posttest scores improved from 63.9 to 79.1, with an N-gain score of 40%, also categorized as moderate. Therefore, the augmented reality-based Flashcard learning media has been proven effective in improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Podorejo 03 in the subject of Pancasila Education.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of Capera-based interactive teaching materials for grade V SD on human digestive system material. Research and Development (R&D) is the research method used and the ADDIE model is the development model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Observation, interview, questionnaire, pretest, and posttest were conducted to obtain data. The validity test was conducted by two validators, namely material experts and media experts. The percentage score is in the very feasible category with 90,63% for validation from material experts and 90% for validation from media experts. With a percentage score of 96% for students and 100% for teachers, both groups responded well to the learning materials. N-Gain test, paired sample t-test, and normality test were used to assess the effectiveness. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that 60.93 for the pretest average score then increased to 86.38 in the posttest and 0.6125 was the result of the N-Gain test which was included in the moderate category. The t-test results show a significant difference between the use of Canva-based Capera interactive learning media before and after, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Thus, it can be said that this learning resource is feasible, valid, and efficient to be used in IPAS learning related to the Human Digestive System.

Abstract

Students' difficulties in thoroughly understanding the human digestive system are often attributed to inadequate visualization and the use of conventional learning media that lack engagement. These factors contribute to low student learning outcomes. This study aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based flashcard learning media, and to assess its feasibility, effectiveness, and impact on improving science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes among fifth-grade students at SDN Ngaliyan 01. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, multiple-choice tests, and documentation. Validation results indicated that the media received scores of 93.75% from content experts and 95% from media experts, categorized as highly feasible. Normality tests confirmed that the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed, while the T-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.01), indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes. The N-Gain score of 0.6831 in the small group and 0.5417 in the large group suggests medium-level effectiveness. The study concludes that the AR-based flashcard media is both feasible and effective for enhancing student learning outcomes in the topic of the digestive system. The findings imply that AR-based media can serve as an innovative alternative in IPAS instruction, fostering a more engaging, interactive, and meaningful learning experience.
