Abstract

Honey bee business is included in the agribusiness sector industry that is able to produce honey, bee pollen and royal jelly products. One of the Trigona Sp honey bee business groups is the Molekat Mai Birahi Forest Farmer Group (KTH) located in Payahe Village, Oba District, Tidore Islands City. This study aims to: 1) analyze the cost structure of Trigona Sp honey bee cultivation business, 2) analyze the income of Trigona Sp honey bee cultivation business, 3) Analyze the level of B/C Ratio, Break Even Point (BEP) and Payback Period (PP). . Data collection methods in this study include interviews, observations and literature studies. The results of the study showed that the cost structure consisted of fixed costs in the form of depreciation of cages, protective clothing, honey suction tools, machetes and stup with a total of Rp 19,979,200 while variable costs of Rp 2,892,000 consisted of the cost of purchasing bottles, labels and purchasing colonies. The amount of income received per year is Rp 33,528,800. Meanwhile, the feasibility value of Trigona Sp honey bee business based on B/C Ratio is 1.5 while BEP analysis is 143 bottles with a value of Rp21,450,000 while the payback period payback period is 1.5 years. So that the Trigona Sp honey bee business is feasible. Better management is needed so that honey production is optimal and stable so that it can meet consumer demand.

Abstract

Simple processing of tuna catches can create added value. Production of tuna fish which is processed into fish floss and garo rica fish is also one of the superior products in the Rhoa Z Home Industry and has a relatively high selling price compared to other products. The aim of the research is to determine the income and added value of tuna fish processing obtained by Home Industry Rhoa Z. The method used in the research is the Hayami analysis method. The research results obtained on tuna fish processing products for fish floss products have an income of Rp. 51,456,108 fish floss in two sizes, 100 grams and 200 grams, 100 gram fish floss has an added value of IDR. 57,900 or 4.19% of production results. For 200 grams of fish floss, there is an added value of IDR. 41,800 or 1.39% of production results. Garo Rica fish has an income of Rp. 194,448,108 garo rica fish, there are also two sizes, 150 grams and 200 grams, 150 gram garo rica fish has an added value of Rp. 5,183 or 0.104% of production results. 200 gram Garo Rica fish has an added value of IDR. 23,713 or 0.30% of production results.Keywords: Value Added, Hayami Analysis, Tuna Fish Processing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara simultan variable umur, pendiidkan, pengalaman, luas lahan, partisipasi kelompok tani dan status kepemilikan lahan yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan benih bersertifikat. Secara parsial partisipasi kelompok tani dan status kepemilikan lahan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan penggunaan benih bersertifikat di Desa Lembah Asri Kecamatan Weda Selatan Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah. Koefeisien determinasi (Adjusted RSquare) sebesar 0,725 hal ini menunjukan bahwa besar pengaruh terhadap keputusan penggunaan benih bersertifikat yang bisa dijelaskna oleh enam variable bebas yaitu umur, Pendidikan, pengalaman, luas lahan, partisipasi kelompok tani dan status kepemilikan lahan sebesar 68,5% dan sisanya 42% dijelaskan oleh variable lain yang tidak termasuk dalam model.

Abstract

The development of sago as a local food resource in Tuada Village, West Halmahera Regency, aimed at realizing a self-sufficient food village based on local potential. The main activities include strengthening the capacity of the Marimoi MSMEs in managing sago processing businesses, which enables the community to improve their entrepreneurial skills and enhance the economic value of sago. Education on the application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) was provided to ensure food quality and safety, allowing sago-based products to meet higher market standards. In addition, knowledge transfer on innovative processing techniques has been carried out to expand the variety of sago products, such as instant flour, sago-based macaroni, and sago egg snacks, which significantly increase added value and consumer appeal. The program also emphasizes strengthening community economic institutions through collaborative product marketing strategies and the utilization of digital technology, thereby expanding market reach and reinforcing the position of local products. The technologies applied include hard technologies, such as modern processing equipment, and soft technologies, including business management, packaging, and effective promotion strategies. Furthermore, feasibility studies on household-scale sago flour production and product diversification indicate positive outcomes from technical, financial, and socio-economic perspectives, providing a strong foundation for sustainable business development. Overall, the integration of these initiatives demonstrates that sago development not only contributes to local food security but also plays a significant role in improving community welfare and strengthening the village economy in a sustainable and independent manner.

Abstract

The utilization of kepok banana stem waste is still not optimal in Tadenas Village, Moti Island, North Maluku. So far, banana stems are only considered as worthless agricultural leftovers. The main problem faced by the community, especially women, is the limited knowledge in processing local waste into innovative products that can be marketed. This activity aims to empower women through optimizing kepok banana stem waste into innovative jerky products with the "Mila Rasa" brand, as well as encouraging the improvement of community welfare through local potential-based businesses. The implementation method uses a participatory approach with stages: (1) identification of the potential of local raw materials, (2) socialization and counseling regarding the nutritional value and business opportunities of products, (3) production assistance and quality standardization on processing banana stems into jerky, and (4) introduction of simple marketing strategies. The results of the study showed a significant increase.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis activity is part of the Entrepreneurship PKM Team program, which focuses on the development of Trichoderma-based biological fertilizers as an innovative approach to support sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture. The main objective of this initiative is to produce and promote a biofertilizer formulated from a simple combination of Trichoderma and bokashi by the Entrepreneurship PKM Team and participating students. Through training in biofertilizer production and entrepreneurship mentoring, the program encourages active student involvement in building business units based on ecological agricultural technology. The implementation methods include technical training, fermentation practices, and strategies for product packaging and promotion. The results of the program indicate that the combination of Trichoderma and bokashi has potential to improve the growth of horticultural crops and can be further developed as a campus-based agribusiness product. Melalui pelatihan produksi pupuk hayati dan pendampingan kewirausahaan, kegiatan ini mendorong keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa dalam membangun unit usaha berbasis teknologi pertanian ekologis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan teknis, praktik fermentasi, dan strategi pengemasan serta promosi produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi Trichoderma dan bokashi memiliki potensi dalam memperbaiki pertumbuhan tanaman hortikultura dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai produk kewirausahaan pertanian di lingkungan kampus.Kata Kunci: Trichoderma, pupuk hayati, kewirausahaan, mahasiswa, pertanian berkelanjutan

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah saat ini semakin mengkhawatirkan. Produksi sampah warga kota Ternate dari tahun ke tahun terus meningkat. Kelurahan Fitu, Ternate Selatan dengan potensi sumber daya alam khususnya pertanian menjadi daya tarik ekonomi untuk menambah penghasilan masyarakat. Selama ini, masyarakat belum terbiasa memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga maupun potensi sumber daya sekitar untuk menghasilkan produk yang lebih bernilai ekonomis. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) adalah untuk memberikan wawasan dalam menemukan ide kreatif dalam mengolah limbah rumah tangga khususnya menjadi pupuk kompos. Metode pengomposan akan menghilangkan anggapan bahwa selama ini pembuatan kompos membutuhkan tempat yang luas, berat dilakukan oleh ibu rumah tangga, dan harus kotor. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, sosialisasi, demonstrasi, monitoring dan evaluasi. Limbah rumah tangga yang dianggap tidak beguna dapat memiliki nilai ekonomis dan bermanfaat menjadi pupuk kompos, minimal dimanfaatkan pada lingkungan rumah tangga sehingga menghasilkan tanaman yang sehat dan dapat menambah penghasilan rumah tangga. Pembuatan pupuk kompos secara mandiri oleh masyarakat selayaknya menjadi solusi atas sampah atau limbah organik yang semakin meningkat. Hasil kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menujukkan bahwa masyarakat kelurahan Fitu mampu membedakan jenis limbah organic dan non organic serta dapat membuat pupuk kompos secara sederhana. Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian di Dusun Bangkok Halmahera Barat adalah untuk meningkatkan nilai jual sagu di pasaran dengan mengadakan pelatihan pengemasan dan perizinan untuk bisa mencapai pasar yang luas di Masyarakat. Dengan melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan tentang pemasaran dan mekanisme izin p-irt. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan usaha ekonomi Masyarakat di Desa Bangkok Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, yaitu (1) Diskusi awal; (2) Kunjungan lokasi; (3) Penyusunan materi; dan (4) Pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil yang dicapai dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan usaha ekonomi masyarakat pada Desa Bangkok Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, yaitu (1) Peningkatan produktivitas usaha ekonomi masyarakat dan sebagai solusi untuk mengurangi angka pengangguran dan kemiskinan; dan (2) Pengembangan usaha ekonomi masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan pengembangan potensi pertanian. Indeks kinerja utama (IKU) yang ingin dicapai, antara lain: (1) Peningkatan produktivitas usaha ekonomi dan pendapatan masyarakat; dan (2) Penguasaan teknologi oleh Mitra dalam mendukung tata kelola dan pemasaran produk.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential, production process, agronomic benefits, and challenges in the implementation of palm oil-based organic fertilizers in North Maluku through a literature review. By gathering and analyzing the latest literature, this study presents findings on key solutions to address land degradation and dependence on chemical fertilizers that negatively impact the environment. The literature review results highlight the positive potential of palm oil waste, its agronomic benefits, contributions to climate change mitigation, reduction of environmental pollution, and the challenges and opportunities in North Maluku. The study concludes that with the right policy support and the adoption of technology by farmers, palm oil-based organic fertilizers can be a strategic solution to achieve more sustainable and productive agriculture.
