Abstract

Gula aren adalah komoditi yang dihasilkan dari tanaman aren. Gula aren sudah dikenal masyarakat sejak dulu. Gula aren dihasilkan dari penyadapan nira aren yang selanjutnya disaring dan dimasak kemudian mengental. Berdasarkan tujuannya untuk mengetahui penerimaan dan pendapatan serta mengetahui seberapa layak usaha gula aren maka penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Papaloang Kecamatan Bacan Selatan Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kuantitatfi dan penentuan lokasi menggunakan Purposive Sampling dengan pertimbangan Desa Papaloang merupakan salah satu sentra produksi gula aren di Kecamatan Bacan Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan usaha gula aren di Desa Papaloang Sebesar Rp. 62.699.740. dengan nila R/C Ratio 3,94, B/C Ratio 2,94, BEP harga Rp.8, BEP Produksi 176.813 gram dan BEP penerimaan Rp.5.658. Palm sugar is a commodity produced from the palm plant. Palm sugar has been known to the public for a long time. Palm sugar is produced from tapping palm sap which is then filtered and cooked and then thickened. Based on the aim to find out revenue and income and find out how feasible the palm sugar business is so this research was conducted in Papaloang Village, South Bacan District, South Halmahera Regency. Determination of the location using purposive sampling with the consideration that Papaloang Village is one of the centers of palm sugar production in South Bacan District. The results showed that the average palm sugar business income in Papaloang Village was Rp. 62,699,740. with tilapia R/C Ratio 3.94, B/C Ratio 2.94, BEP price Rp.8, BEP Production 176.813 grams and BEP receipts Rp.5.658.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The aim of this service activity is to empower the community in Golago Kusuma Village by making economically valuable animal feed. The method of implementing this service is in the form of socialization and training. The partners of this service are the community in Golago Kusuma Village, West Halmahera Regency. Activity evaluation is carried out by giving a pretest and posttest and analyzed descriptively. The results of this service activity are increasing partners' understanding and skills regarding the use of yard land, nutrition and content of corn plants, how to cultivate and make animal feed from corn. Apart from that, the community also sees opportunities for food from corn sprouts for entrepreneurship. Corn cultivators can make animal feed easily, the raw materials used in making feed can be obtained in the surrounding area, making it easier for farmers to make feed.Keywords: Feed, Livestock, Corn, Sprouts and Marketing ABSTRAK: Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat di Desa Golago Kusuma melalui pembuatan pakan pakan ternak yang bernilai ekonomis. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini berupa sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Mitra pengabdian ini yakni masyarakat di Desa Golago Kusuma Kabupaten Halmahera Barat. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest dan posttest dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatnya pemahaman dan ketrampilan mitra mengenai pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan, nutrisi dan kandungan dari tanaman jagung, cara budidaya dan pembuatan pakan ternak dari jagung. Selain itu, masyarakat juga mengetahui peluang pakan dari kecamba jagung untuk wirausaha. Pembuatan pakan ternak dapat dilakukan oleh pembudidaya tanaman jagung dengan mudah, bahan baku yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pakan dapat diperoleh di wilayah sekitar sehingga mempermudah pembudidaya untuk membuat pakan.Kata Kunci: Pakan, Ternak, Jagung, Kecamba dan Pemasaran

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Rindang Santiong Women's Farmer Group (KWT) is a farmer group consisting of 15 people consisting of PKK women from Santiong Village. The Santiong people live in urban areas, so to grow crops they use yards and unused corners of land. This activity includes counseling about the use of bio-organic fertilizer, the dangers of chemical pesticides and business management by the PKM Team and Kubermas Students as well as PKK women and the community. Apart from outreach activities, training activities were carried out and PKM participants were very enthusiastic and able to make their own bio-organic fertilizer which could help with the problems they faced. Evaluation and monitoring with PKM participants and KWT Rindang Santiong women where PKM participants are able to make their own Bio-Organic Fertilizer and are able to apply it on their agricultural land, they hope that this kind of activity is very necessary in increasing added value in supporting their welfare.Keywords: Bio-organic fertilizer, Trichoderma, Bokashi, Land and ExtensionABSTRAKKelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Rindang Santiong merupakan kelompok tani yang beranggotakan 15 orang yang terdiri dari ibu- ibu PKK Kelurahan Santiong. Masyarakat Santiong ini tinggal didaerah perkotaan, maka untuk bercocok tanam mereka menggunakan pekarangan dan lahan-lahan sudut yang tidak terpakai. Kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan tentang pemanfaatan pupuk bio-organik,bahaya pestisida kimia dan managemen usaha oleh Tim PKM dan Mahasiswa Kubermas serta ibu-ibu PKK dan masyarakat. Disamping kegiatan penyuluhan kegiatan pelatihan dilakukkan dan peserta PKM sangat antusias dan mampu membuat sendiri pupuk bio-organik yang dapat membantu masalah yang mereka hadapi. Evaluasi dan monitoring bersama peserta PKM dan ibu-ibu KWT Rindang Santiong dimana para peserta PKM sudah bisa membuat Pupuk Bio-Organik sendiri dan mampu menerapkan dilahan pertanian mereka, mereka mengharapkan kegiatan semacam ini sangat diperlukan dalam peningkatan nilai tambah dalam menunjang kesejahteraan merekaKata Kunci: Pupuk bio-organik, Trichoderma, Bokashi, Lahan dan Penyuluhan

Abstract

ABSTRACTBroiler chicken cultivation is a potential business and is widely carried out by the community. A group of broiler chicken breeders with the name Makmur Jaya group located in Kastela Village, Ternate City, North Maluku, was formed because of the desire to work together for one goal, namely improving the welfare of its members. However, in the course of business development by the broiler chicken farming group, there were several problems, including a lack of knowledge and skills in raising chickens; livestock management has not been managed well; partner businesses are still traditional; and still use simple equipment in raising chickens. This activity was attended by members of the Makmur Jaya broiler chicken farming group and students of the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Khairun University. Methods for implementing activities include socialization and FGD, training and mentoring. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge to the public regarding good feed management in household-scale broiler chicken cultivation. Abstract

ABSTRACTOne effort to support environmental cleanliness and reduce the amount of plastic waste is by processing plastic waste. Plastic waste can also be used to make craft products by utilizing recycled plastic waste. This Community Service aims to provide knowledge and training to the community around Akebay Village Beach regarding the use of plastic waste into products that have economic value. This socialization and training activity uses lecture, demonstration, question and answer methods and direct practice regarding the use of plastic waste. The training results showed a success rate of 86.5%, namely that participants were able to develop skills well. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge and improve skills in processing used bottles, plastic, paralon and other waste into sobotik crafts that are of marketable value.Keywords: Plastic Waste, Craft Products, Diversification, skills, handicrafts, sobotik ABSTRAKSalah satu upaya mendukung kebersihan lingkungan dan mengurangi jumlah sampah plastik yaitu dengan cara melakukan pengolahan terhadap sampah plastik. Limbah plastik juga bisa dimanfaatkan untuk membuat produk kerajinan dengan memanfaatkan limbah plastik yang didaur ulang. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat sekitar Pantai Desa Akebay mengenai pemanfaatan sampah plastik menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomis. Kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, tanya jawab dan praktek langsung tentang pemanfaatan sampah plastik. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan tingkat keberhasilan 86,5% yaitu peserta mampu membuat keterampilan dengan baik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan ketrampilan dalam mengolah sampah botol bekas, plastik, paralon dan lain-lain menjadi kerajinan sobotik yang bernilai jual.Kata Kunci: Sampah Plastik, Produk Kerajinan, Diversifikasi, keterampilan, kerajinan tangan, sobotik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui besarnya biaya, penerimaan pendapatan dan R/C Ratio dan untuk mengetahui besarnya risiko pada usahatani padi sawah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Aha, Kecamatan Morotai Selatan, Kabupaten Pulau Morotai. Penetuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (Purposive Sampling). Waktu penelitian dilakukan mulai bulan Juli sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2021. Penentuan sampel responden dilakukan dengan metode sampling jenuh atau sensus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan usahatani padi sawah sebesar Rp. 12.338.587 dengan R/C Ratio sebesar 2,2 yang artinya usahatani padi sawah layak untuk dijalankan. Risiko usahatani dilihat dari risiko produksi sebesar 0,39, risiko harga tidak memiliki risiko 0,00 dan risiko pendapatan sebesar 0,48. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah risiko usahatani padi sawah di Desa Aha tergolong rendah.

Abstract

Traditional food is generally less popular with consumers, because apart from the taste being different from modern food, it causes traditional food to easily spoil. One of the traditional foods of North Maluku is panici chicken. This research aims to determine the effect of sterilization time on the chemical, microbiological and metal contamination characteristics of paniki chicken in canned packaging. The research design used was a linear regression method and a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatments were sterilization time (W) (10, 15, 20, 25 minutes) with observation periods of 1, 2, and 3 months. The parameters studied were chemical, microbiological and metal contamination characteristics. The results of the research produced chemical properties including water content with 1 month storage 31.40–37.54%, 2 months 33.85–37.36%, 3 months 34.74–38.56%, ash content with 1 month storage 1 .22–1.61%, 2 months 1.5–1.70%, 3 months 1.56–1.78%, fat content with storage 1 month 11.2–13.74%, 2 months 12.20 –13.95%, 3 months 13.68–14.67%, protein content with 1 month storage 20.80–23.65%, 2 months 22.22–23.61%, 3 months 23.00–24 .55%, carbohydrates with 1 month storage 29.01–33.27%, 2 months 29.79–33.99%, 3 months 31.36–35.16%, total energy with 1 month storage 839.12– 688.59 KCal/100g, 2 months 700.34–734.46 KCal/100g, 3 months 630.01–699.39 KCal/100g, TBA with 1 month storage 0.12–0.21%, 2 months 0.16 –0.25%, 3 months 0.19–0.40%, microbiology includes ALT with 1 month storage 1x101 CFU/g, dua bulan 1x101 CFU/g, three months 1x101 CFU/g.

Abstract

Simple processing of tuna catches can create added value. Production of tuna fish which is processed into fish floss and garo rica fish is also one of the superior products in the Rhoa Z Home Industry and has a relatively high selling price compared to other products. The aim of the research is to determine the income and added value of tuna fish processing obtained by Home Industry Rhoa Z. The method used in the research is the Hayami analysis method. The research results obtained on tuna fish processing products for fish floss products have an income of Rp. 51,456,108 fish floss in two sizes, 100 grams and 200 grams, 100 gram fish floss has an added value of IDR. 57,900 or 4.19% of production results. For 200 grams of fish floss, there is an added value of IDR. 41,800 or 1.39% of production results. Garo Rica fish has an income of Rp. 194,448,108 garo rica fish, there are also two sizes, 150 grams and 200 grams, 150 gram garo rica fish has an added value of Rp. 5,183 or 0.104% of production results. 200 gram Garo Rica fish has an added value of IDR. 23,713 or 0.30% of production results.Keywords: Value Added, Hayami Analysis, Tuna Fish Processing.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential, production process, agronomic benefits, and challenges in the implementation of palm oil-based organic fertilizers in North Maluku through a literature review. By gathering and analyzing the latest literature, this study presents findings on key solutions to address land degradation and dependence on chemical fertilizers that negatively impact the environment. The literature review results highlight the positive potential of palm oil waste, its agronomic benefits, contributions to climate change mitigation, reduction of environmental pollution, and the challenges and opportunities in North Maluku. The study concludes that with the right policy support and the adoption of technology by farmers, palm oil-based organic fertilizers can be a strategic solution to achieve more sustainable and productive agriculture.
