Abstract

Pendampingan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas diperlukan untuk menciptakan kondiri belajar yang optimal khususnya untuk anak usia dini.  Guru perlu terampil dalam mengelola dalam proses belajar mengajar seperti tujuan pembelajaran yang jelas, menguasai materi, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan tepat, penggunaan sarana, evaluasi dalam pembelajaran. Pendampingan ini untuk mendukung guru untuk memperbaiki proses pengelolaan kelas yang dilaksanakan. Fasilitator memberikan pendampingan pada guru dengan bertahap dengan memberikan wawasan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut agar proses pembelajaran pada anak usia dini dapat diterapkan secara efektif di kelas. Abstract: Teacher assistance in classroom management is needed to create optimal learning conditions, especially for young children. Teachers need to be skilled in managing the teaching and learning process, such as clear learning objectives, mastering the material, appropriate learning methods used, use of facilities, evaluation in learning. This assistance is to support teachers to improve the classroom management processes implemented. The facilitator provides assistance to teachers in stages by providing insight, evaluation and follow-up so that the learning process in early childhood can be implemented effectively in the classroom.

Abstract

Kehadiran kedua orangtua dalam hidup anak usia dini adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam tumbuh kembangnya. Kehadiran kedua orangtua yang lengkap akan membuat aspek perkembangan anak akan terstimulasi dengan optimal. Idealnya ayah dan ibu dapat bekerjasama mengasuh anak. Mereka dapat melakukan pembagian peran yang sama. Masyarakat Indonesia sejatinya sudah melakukan pembagian peran antara keterlibatan ayah dan ibu Meskipun pembagian peran dan keterlibatan sudah dibagi namun masih dinilai keterlibatan ayah sangat minim. Para ayah masih beranggapan bahwa tugas utama mereka adalah bekerja lalu mengabaikan peran ayah dalam optimalisasi aspek perkembangan anak. Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan terkait memaksimalkan keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan anak sehingga aspek perkembangan anak usia dini dapat berkembang optimal dan memberikan strategi pada ayah-ayah di luar sana bagaimana terlibat dalam mengasuh anak meskipun sibuk bekerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dengan memberikan pengetahuan melalui seminar dan memberikan pendampingan lanjutan pada ayah untuk memaksimalkan keterlibatan dalam pengasuhan dengan membuat pembagian peran sampai pada monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan ayah tentang peran keterlibatan dalam pengasuhan anak dan dapat membagi waktu antara bekerja dan mengasuh anak. Bahkan ada yang membuat jadwal rutin setiap hari antara ayah dan anak. Anak menjadi lebih ceria dan kemampuan sosial emosi, kognitif dan afektif meningkat baik. Aspek kognitif dalam hal ini yaitu pengharapan, kecemasan, keyakinan diri, dan perencanaan akan masa depan, sedangkan aspek afektif yang dimaksud adalah komitmen dan perasaan cinta, kasih sayang, serta pengorbanan kepada anak yang diasuh. cinta ayah memberikan motivasi kepada anak untuk lebih menghargai nilai-nilai dan tanggung jawab (Wahyuningrum 2011). Kesimpulannya adalah keterlibatan ayah dlam pengasuhan anak usia dini sangat diperlukan untuk menambah kemampuan kognitif, afektif dan sosial anak. Ayah yang berperan aktif dalam pengasuhan memiliki kedekatan yang kuat dengan anak sehingga membuat anak lebih peka terhadap emosi dan lingkungan. Saran untuk para ayah di seluruh bagian dunia ini untuk lebih memahami bahwa peran pengasuhan anak adalah tanggungjawab ayah dan ibu sehingga pembagian peran dengan baik dan adil akan sangat membantu anak dalam memaknai peran anggota keluarga. Abstract: The presence of both parents in a child's life at an early age is very important in their growth and development. The complete presence of both parents will ensure that aspects of the child's development will be optimally stimulated. Ideally, father and mother can work together to care for children. They can share the same roles. Indonesian society has actually divided roles between the involvement of fathers and mothers. Even though the division of roles and involvement has been divided, it is still considered that father involvement is very minimal. Fathers still think that their main task is to work and then ignore the role of fathers in optimizing aspects of their children's development. The aim of this service is to provide knowledge related to maximizing fathers' involvement in childcare so that aspects of early childhood development can develop optimally and to provide strategies to fathers out there on how to be involved in caring for children even though they are busy working. The method used in this service is to provide knowledge through seminars and provide further assistance to fathers to maximize involvement in parenting by dividing roles up to monitoring and evaluation. The result of this service is an increase in fathers' knowledge about the role of involvement in childcare and being able to divide their time between work and childcare. Some even make a daily routine between father and son. Children become more cheerful and their social, emotional, cognitive and affective skills improve. The cognitive aspect in this case is hope, anxiety, self-confidence and planning for the future, while the affective aspect in question is commitment and feelings of love, affection and sacrifice for the children being cared for. Father's love provides motivation for children to appreciate values and responsibilities more (Wahyuningrum 2011). The conclusion is that father involvement in early childhood care is very necessary to increase children's cognitive, affective and social abilities. Fathers who play an active role in parenting have a strong closeness to their children, making them more sensitive to emotions and the environment. Advice for fathers in all parts of the world to better understand that the role of caring for children is the responsibility of the father and mother so that the distribution of roles well and fairly will really help children in interpreting the roles of family members.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to solve the problem of using gadgets in children by utilizing life skill-oriented interactive multimedia. The method used in this service is partner socialization, self-learning, mentoring, coaching, and act and do. The results of the service are at the socialization stage to teachers, students and parents of students. The partner self-learning stage is given learning videos about children, children's games, and the positive and negative impacts of gadgets, this is an incubation period. The partner mentoring stage follows mentoring material, namely life skills material, digital technology material, child development material. The coaching stage changes the mindset by integrating life skills material into classroom learning. The act and doing stage utilizes effective, interesting and in accordance with novelty methods, namely life skill-oriented interactive multimedia technology and a respectful gesture detection tool. The conclusion of this service is that partners can make positive use of gadgets by using lifeskill-oriented interactive multimedia and respectful gesture detection devices.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of instructing derivational and inflectional morphemes at SMP Al Islah Surabaya to improve students' comprehension and its application to the English language. It aims to enhance students' vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension, and writing skills by employing an effective curriculum and specific instructional methodologies. The present study employs a mixed-methods methodology, integrating quantitative language proficiency evaluations with qualitative observations of classroom interactions and student remarks. Initial results suggest that providing direct guidance on derivational and inflectional morphemes substantially impacts students' linguistic proficiency and apply grammatical principles with greater effectiveness. It emphasizes the significance of including morphology education in the language learning curriculum. It offers practical suggestions for teachers to cultivate a more profound morphology awareness among SMP Al Islah students and improve English language competency.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Islamic-based elementary schools presents both opportunities and challenges in balancing hard skills and soft skills while preserving Islamic educational values. This qualitative case study explores how AI supports religious education, ethical development, and STEM learning in two Islamic schools in Gresik, East Java. Using semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, the study examines the impact of AI on teacher-student interactions, personalized learning, and character formation. The findings indicate that AI enhances Quranic learning, ethical discussions, and academic proficiency by providing adaptive feedback, interactive learning tools, and automated assessments. However, while AI improves hard skills development, it requires additional pedagogical strategies to cultivate soft skills such as ethical reasoning, leadership, and communication. Educators emphasized that AI must complement rather than replace traditional teacher-led instruction to maintain the spiritual and moral aspects of Islamic education. Despite its benefits, AI implementation in Islamic schools faces several challenges, including technological infrastructure limitations, teacher readiness, and ethical concerns related to AI alignment with Islamic principles. The study highlights the importance of contextual AI customization, comprehensive teacher training, and ethical AI governance to ensure effective and culturally appropriate AI adoption. This study contributes to the growing discourse on AI in religious education and offers policy recommendations for integrating AI into Islamic curricula while maintaining the integrity of faith-based education. Future research should explore long-term impacts of AI on moral education, cross-cultural AI adoption, and strategies for ethical AI governance in faith-based learning environments.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to provide insights into how edugames can assess children’s cognitive abilities across various intelligence domains such as logical-mathematical, spatial, linguistic, interpersonal, and bodily-kinesthetic. Methodology: This study adopts a qualitative research design with a case study approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with educators and edugame developers, classroom observations of students using the games, and document analysis. The study focused on a specific early childhood school institution where edugames were integrated into the curriculum. Thematic analysis was employed to identify key patterns and insights from the data. Main Findings: The findings reveal that edugames are effective in assessing a wide range of intelligences, engaging children in tasks that reflect different cognitive and social abilities. The games were particularly effective in evaluating logical-mathematical, spatial, linguistic, interpersonal, and bodily-kinesthetic intelligences. Educators reported that edugames allowed them to assess diverse abilities often overlooked by traditional assessment methods. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and the need for adaptive features in games were identified. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research contributes to the emerging field of digital tools in early childhood education by presenting edugames as effective methods for assessing multiple intelligences. The implications for educational practice suggest that incorporating edugames into early childhood curricula can provide a more inclusive, dynamic, and accurate assessment of children's cognitive and social skills. Future research should focus on overcoming the identified challenges, such as the need for adaptive game features and better technological infrastructure.
