Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has increased the importance of digital literacy as a fundamental competency for students. However, many secondary school students continue to experience difficulties in understanding and applying essential digital literacy concepts, particularly in the areas of digital ethics, cybersecurity, information evaluation, and responsible technology use. Preliminary observations at MTs Al Huda Bandung Baru revealed that smartphones were predominantly utilized for entertainment purposes rather than educational activities, indicating the need for innovative learning media that can support digital literacy development. This study aimed to develop and evaluate EduTech, an Android-based learning application integrating interactive modules, educational videos, and assessment quizzes to enhance students’ digital literacy competencies. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The application was developed using the Flutter framework with a local SQLite database, enabling full offline functionality to accommodate diverse learning environments. Functional feasibility was assessed through Black Box Testing, while effectiveness was evaluated using a One-Group Pre-test Post-test design involving 30 eighth-grade students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to measure changes in students’ digital literacy understanding before and after the intervention. The findings demonstrated that all functional testing scenarios achieved a 100% validity rate, confirming the reliability and usability of the application. Furthermore, students’ mean scores increased substantially from 52.40 in the pre-test to 81.60 in the post-test, indicating a significant improvement in digital literacy comprehension. The results suggest that the integration of interactive learning materials, multimedia content, and self-assessment features effectively supports students’ engagement and learning outcomes. This study concludes that EduTech is a feasible and effective mobile learning solution for strengthening digital literacy education and may serve as a scalable model for technology-enhanced learning in secondary education settings.

Abstract

Data analysis enables accurate house price prediction by utilizing historical data and machine learning techniques. Determining house prices is essential for sellers, buyers, and property developers; however, it remains challenging due to the influence of various physical and socioeconomic factors. This study aims to predict house prices based on the variables CRIM (crime rate), LSTAT (percentage of the lower socioeconomic population), RAD (road accessibility), and RM (average number of rooms), with MEDV as the target variable. The Linear Regression algorithm was implemented using Orange Data Mining software, while the model performance was evaluated using the coefficient of determination (R²), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results indicate that the model achieved an R² value of 0.624, an MAE of 3.904, an RMSE of 5.574, and a MAPE of 0.202. Pearson correlation analysis revealed that RM has a strong positive correlation (+0.791) with house prices, whereas LSTAT has a strong negative correlation (−0.731). Meanwhile, CRIM (−0.389) and RAD (−0.384) exhibit moderate negative correlations with house prices. These findings suggest that both physical factors, such as the number of rooms, and socioeconomic factors, including crime rate and the proportion of the low-income population, significantly influence house prices. This study provides valuable insights for property developers and home buyers in considering these factors when determining property prices or making purchasing decisions. Future research is recommended to incorporate additional variables, more advanced machine learning algorithms, and larger datasets to improve prediction accuracy.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mobile web–based information system to support service management at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hidayah, located in Kalisari, Kalirejo, Central Lampung. The system is designed to improve efficiency, accessibility, and service quality for students (santri), administrators, and other stakeholders. The development process follows several stages, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. By adopting mobile web technology, the system enables users to access information and utilize various services anytime and anywhere through their mobile devices. The proposed system integrates key features such as institutional profile information, activity schedules, announcements, financial information, and new student registration. In addition, communication features are provided to facilitate interaction between students, pesantren administrators, and parents or guardians through instant messaging or notification services. These features aim to reduce manual administrative processes, minimize information delays, and enhance transparency in service delivery. The results of this study indicate that the developed system has the potential to significantly improve operational efficiency and user experience in pesantren services. Furthermore, this system can serve as a foundational platform for future development, particularly in expanding the integration of information technology to support daily operational and managerial activities within Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

The development of information technology in education encourages schools to improve the quality of academic services through effective and accessible digital systems. MTs Mathlaul Anwar Talangpadang Tanggamus still faces challenges in managing academic services manually, including grade processing, attendance management, class scheduling, and payment information, resulting in delays and ineffective services for students and parents. This study aims to design and implement a mobile web-based Academic Service Information System to improve the efficiency and quality of academic services. The research applied the Waterfall method consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature studies. System testing using the Blackbox Testing method on seven main menus showed that all features functioned properly without errors. Quantitative analysis involved 58 respondents consisting of 26 eighth-grade students and 32 ninth-grade students, resulting in an average system success rate of 93.7%. The results indicate that the developed system successfully simplifies academic management, accelerates information access, and enables parents to monitor students’ academic progress in real-time through mobile devices.

Abstract

Era digital menuntut penguasaan literasi digital yang esensial, namun pemahaman siswa di Indonesia, khususnya di MTs Al Huda Bandung Baru, masih rendah pada pilar Keamanan dan Etika Digital. Observasi menunjukkan gawai lebih banyak digunakan untuk hiburan daripada pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi Android EduTech yang fungsional dan user-friendly sebagai media pembelajaran literasi digital, dan (2) mengimplementasikan aplikasi tersebut untuk memperkenalkan konsep literasi digital secara terstruktur pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Tahap analisis menggunakan studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, salah satunya adalah fungsionalitas Offline penuh. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan Flutter dengan basis data SQLite lokal. Hasil evaluasi fungsional melalui Black Box Testing menunjukkan 100% skenario uji berjalan Valid, termasuk pengujian mode Offline. Uji efektivitas menggunakan desain OneGroup Pre-test Post-test pada 30 siswa menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata pemahaman siswa secara substansial dari 52.40 (Pre-test) menjadi 81.60 (Post-test). Disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi EduTech fungsional, layak, dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran literasi digital offline
