Abstract

The global pharmaceutical industry is constantly looking for new resources that can be used to develop bioactive ingredients to produce more effective and innovative medicines. One resource that has attracted the attention of researchers is marine microorganisms (UGM, 2017; Wiganti, 2022). The ocean, which covers more than 70% of the Earth's surface, is an ecosystem rich in biodiversity, including microorganisms that are unique and rarely found in terrestrial environments. This research aims to explore and identify marine microorganisms that have potential in the production of bioactive materials for pharmaceutical applications. Based on the results of this study, only Extract I showed significant inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus, while Extract II had almost no inhibition. Table 2 shows the results of the study indicating that the inhibition of seaweed extracts was absent. Gracillaria sp. seaweed extracts evaporated through a rotary vacuum evaporator and seaweed extracts evaporated through an oven had no inhibition. This study showed that bioactive compounds prepared through extraction using vacuum evaporator had greater inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus. This suggests that marine microorganisms can be a source of bioactive ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry.

Abstract

Abstrak - Pemilihan lokasi pemasangan Optical Distribution Point (ODP) merupakan faktor penting dalam pengembangan jaringan fiber optik, karena berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi biaya dan jangkauan layanan. Proses pemilihan lokasi selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakefisienan dalam perencanaan jaringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis WebGIS yang menerapkan metode Naive Bayes dalam menentukan kelayakan lokasi pemasangan ODP IndiHome. Metode Naive Bayes digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi berdasarkan beberapa kriteria, antara lain jumlah penduduk, potensi pelanggan, status perizinan, aksesibilitas, infrastruktur pendukung, topografi, dan keamanan wilayah. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall dengan implementasi teknologi PHP, MySQL, dan LeafletJS untuk visualisasi peta. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa metode Naïve Bayes mampu mengklasifikasikan data dengan akurasi sebesar 100% pada 19 data uji, di mana 13 lokasi dikategorikan “Layak” dan 6 lokasi “Tidak Layak”. Integrasi hasil klasifikasi dengan WebGIS memungkinkan pengguna untuk memantau dan menganalisis sebaran lokasi ODP secara interaktif melalui peta digital. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat membantu pihak perusahaan telekomunikasi dalam menentukan lokasi ODP yang optimal, efisien, dan berbasis spasial.Kata kunci : Optical Distribution Point; Naive Bayes; Sistem Pendukung Keputusan; WebGIS; Waterfall; Abstract - The selection of Optical Distribution Point (ODP) installation locations is a crucial factor in the development of fiber optic networks, as it directly affects cost efficiency and service coverage. The current selection process is still performed manually, which can lead to inefficiencies in network planning. This study aims to develop a WebGIS-based decision support system that applies the Naive Bayes method to determine the feasibility of ODP installation locations for IndiHome. The Naive Bayes algorithm is utilized to classify data based on several criteria, including population density, customer potential, licensing status, accessibility, supporting infrastructure, topography, and area security. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, implemented with PHP, MySQL, and LeafletJS for map visualization. The testing results show that the Naïve Bayes method achieved an accuracy of 100% on 19 test data points, classifying 13 locations as “Feasible” and 6 as “Not Feasible.” The integration of classification results with WebGIS allows users to monitor and analyze ODP locations interactively through a digital map. Therefore, the system effectively assists telecommunication companies in determining optimal, efficient, and spatially based ODP installation locations.Keywords: Optical Distribution Point; Naive Bayes; Decision Support System; WebGIS; Waterfall;

Abstract

Proper management of Village Funds plays a crucial role in improving development outcomes and community welfare at the village level. Although the Indonesian government has allocated Village Funds to strengthen rural development, many villages continue to face various challenges in managing these resources effectively. The community service program carried out in Oelami Village, Bikomi Selatan Subdistrict, North Central Timor Regency, was designed to enhance the capacity of village officials in managing Village Funds more efficiently. Using the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach, participants received guidance on village financial planning, implementation, and reporting, with a strong emphasis on transparency and accountability. The training resulted in improved understanding among village officials in preparing the APBDes, monitoring program implementation, and drafting accountability reports. Participants also demonstrated strong engagement and began to recognize that accountable financial management is not only about complying with regulations but also about building public trust and accelerating development in the village.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to extract natural dyes from plant parts, characterize them, and evaluate their color fastness properties. The yarns were bleached using hydrogen peroxide at a concentration of 10% (based on fiber weight) at 100°C for 30 minutes. Three natural dyes (teak leaves, turmeric, and mango bark) were selected as natural sources for color extraction, which was carried out for 60 minutes at 100°C. Dyeing was performed both with and without the addition of salt, alum, and lime as mordants. The FTIR spectra of fabrics dyed with natural dye extracts showed absorption bands at 2963–2918 cm⁻¹, indicating the presence of C-H stretching from methyl (CH₃) and methylene (-CH₂-) groups found in polyester. The band at 1710–1713 cm⁻¹ originated from the carbonyl (C=O) group, which is a main characteristic of polyester. The band around 1504–1577 cm⁻¹ was identified as aromatic C=C bond stretching. The band at 1338–1242 cm⁻¹ indicated C-O stretching, which may be attributed to ester groups in polyester. The band at 1091–1015 cm⁻¹ represented C-H bending, which is also characteristic of polyester molecules. Turmeric and teak leaves demonstrated better color fastness compared to mango bark.
