Abstract

A calming organizational climate will increase teacher job satisfaction. One way to increase teacher job satisfaction is to provide a comfortable workplace, and leaders should treat teachers well and don't discriminate against one another in order to create a conducive organizational climate. The teachers feel that the organizational climate will be more conducive if the teachers do something useful and their work is appreciated by the principal or leader. Therefore, a feeling of joy and pride will arise in the education staff, so if the school can meet the needs of teachers, the level of teacher satisfaction will also increase. This research was carried out from June to August 2022. The method used in this study is the correlational method; correlational research is research that will look at the relationship between variables X and Y and is intended to obtain information about the status of symptoms at the time the research is conducted. This study's population consists of principals and teachers who are still actively teaching at SMPN 8 Jakarta in the 2021/2022 academic year. Based on the data that has been obtained, the description of the data, and the processing of statistical data, the authors can draw the following conclusions: The result of calculating the product moment correlation between variables X and Y is obtained as rxy = 0.627, and at a significance level of 5%, r-table = 0.361, while at a significance level of 1%, r-table = 0.463, thus at a significance level of 5% or 1%, r-count was greater than r-table (0.627 > 0.361). Ho is rejected, while Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y.

Abstract

The research aims to explain the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) in an effort to improve the quality of education in one of the public high schools in South Tangerang City. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This study aims to explain the implementation of SBM in improving the quality of education. The data obtained is presented in a descriptive form based on the results of interviews, observations and documentation studies. The research subjects in this study are information sources that can provide information or data related to the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in an effort to improve the quality of education. In this study, the research subjects or informants were the Human Resources (HR) in schools including the Principal, Deputy Head of School for Curriculum, Head of Administration, Deputy Head of School for Facilities and Infrastructure, Deputy Head of School for Public Relations, and three teachers. School independence in meeting the availability of teaching and educational staff is sufficient, and school independence in meeting the availability of facilities and infrastructure is sufficient and sufficient. School partnerships/cooperation is good, this can be seen from the internal school relations that have been well established through work meetings, briefings and MGMP. Partnerships with external parties, the school has established partnerships with 13 institutions as evidenced by the MoU. Form of Participation, the form of participation is seen through the support of funds, facilities and staff from stakeholders in implementing school programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain data about the process of intra-school student organization activities. The spirit of discipline between administrators and members of intra-school student organizations; what are the obstacles to the implementation of the intra-school student organization program; efforts to increase discipline in intra-school student organizations; and how to overcome discipline and achieve student achievement. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach through stages of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The objects of this study were the principal, the deputy head of student affairs, members of intra-school student organizations, and 10 students. Data analysis can be done through categorization, data reduction, validity testing, drawing conclusions, and data presentation. The results of the study show that intra-school organization activities play an important role in improving discipline and the quality of graduates through intra-school student organization work programs contained in the intra-school student organization structure and student achievement data.

Abstract

Commitment is a crucial quality that educators need to possess in their work environment. Organizational commitment is one of the factors that can impact the quality of work, particularly when it comes to determining the discipline of teachers' work. Therefore, in order to maintain the excellence of schools in the eyes of the community, this must be implemented correctly by teachers with support from the schools. Surveys and documentation studies were used as data gathering methods. Forty instructors received questionnaires with a linkert scale consisting of five possible answers. With the use of SPSS, the data were processed and examined using correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, and basic linear regression analysis. The statistical testing of correlation analysis tests produced a r count of 0.6. Test indicates that organizational commitment has an impact on teachers' work discipline. Moreover, organizational commitment is impacted by the coefficient of determination calculation to the tune of 40%, other factors not included in this study account for 60% of the total. Therefore, teachers' organizational commitment is sufficient to have a maximum impact on their work discipline in carrying out their duties and obligations.
