Abstract

Work discipline and organizational culture are important issues that have always been the main focus of every company, because they are closely related to overall performance. Many things are done by the organization in order to improve the work discipline of its employees and improve organizational culture, one of which is to commit to implementing mutually agreed provisions. Because with a high commitment to implement all existing provisions, this will have an impact on the decreasing number of errors that arise, so that it will have a significant effect on the company's performance. PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Asia is a manufacturing company that produces musical instruments, where most of its production is intended for overseas markets. Not much different from what is experienced by other manufacturing companies, PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Asia also has problems with discipline issues and the implementation of a quality organizational culture. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and organizational culture on the performance of employees of PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Asia. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection methods by distributing questionnaires to 165 employees of the production department of PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Asia. The results showed that there was a significant influence, work discipline variables and organizational culture on the performance of employees of PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Asia by 70.7%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan penerapan model absensi fingerprint terhadap disiplin kerja. Penelitian dilakukan di PT. Autoplastik Indonesia yang berlokasi di Kawasan Mitra Industri Jalan Mitra Barat I Blok G. Desa Parung Mulya Kec. Ciampel, Kab. Karawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan anggota sampel dari populasi yang dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada pada populasi itu. Sedangkan Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan (X1) secara  parsial  berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan (Y). Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai koefisien regresi (X1) sebesar  sebesar 0,382 dan nilai t hitung 5,934 serta nilai signifikansi 0. Penerapan model absensi fingerprint secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan (Y). Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai koefisien regresi (X2) sebesar 0,2 dan nilai t hitung 3,167 serta nilai signifikansi 0,002. Kepemimpinan (X1) dan Penerapan Model Absensi Fingerprint (X2) secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan (Y). Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai f-hitung sebesar 52,703, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the recruitment and selection process on project employee performance in the nurse function at Klinik Pertamedika IHC. This research will focus on evaluating the effectiveness of the current recruitment and selection process in identifying and hiring qualified project employees. The research will also examine the impact of these processes on the performance of project employees in the nursing function. This research will utilise a qualitative method approach. The research will involve in-depth interviews with key stakeholders and analysis of performance data. This study adopts a qualitative research approach with a descriptive nature. It focuses on the recruitment and selection process of employees and their impact on performance within Klinik Pertamedika IHC. The research was conducted at Klinik Pertamedika IHC from February to May 2023, and the data collection process involved both offline and online interviews. The findings from this research will provide insights into the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection process in the nursing function and inform recommendations for improving this process to enhance project employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how the work from home programme has affected employees' working conditions at PT Wilmar International, a global agricultural company. It is crucial to understand how the work from home policy affects employee performance to increase the adoption rate. This research uses a qualitative approach methodology through in-depth interviews. The findings of this study add to the currently available information by providing an overview of the impact of the work from home policy at PT Wilmar International on employees' working conditions. All of this will help business owners, human resource managers, and employees at PT Wilmar International to understand the benefits and risks of working from home so that they can know how to implement and manage it. Abstract

Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan beban kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pemerintah non-PNS (PPNPN) di Kedeputian Bidang Pemantauan, Evaluasi, dan Pengendalian Pembangunan - BAPPENAS.Metode. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif, dimana metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pemerintah non-PNS (PPNPN) di Kedeputian Bidang Pemantauan, Evaluasi, dan Pengendalian Pembangunan – BAPPENAS, yang berjumlah 73 orang. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan metode sampling jenuh. Pengolahan data menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26, dengan analisis deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) secara parsial variabel lingkungan kerja  memiliki pengaruh positif dan  signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pemerintah non-PNS (PPNPN) di Kedeputian Bidang Pemantauan, Evaluasi, dan Pengendalian Pembangunan – BAPPENAS; (2) secara parsial variabel beban kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai pemerintah non-PNS (PPNPN) di Kedeputian Bidang Pemantauan, Evaluasi, dan Pengendalian Pembangunan – BAPPENAS; (3) secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel lingkungan kerja dan beban kerja sebesar 70,3% terhadap kinerja pegawai pemerintah non-PNS (PPNPN) di Kedeputian Bidang Pemantauan, Evaluasi, dan Pengendalian Pembangunan – BAPPENAS.Implikasi. Temuan ini dapat menjadi masukan bagi kebijakan dan praktik yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai PPNPN di Kedeputian Bidang Pengawasan, Evaluasi, dan Pengendalian Pembangunan dan instansi pemerintah lainnya yang sejenis.

Abstract

In this study, we investigated the interplay of job flexibility, organizational support, job satisfaction, and employee commitment among Bank DKI employees. The purpose was to discern the direct and indirect relationships between these variables. Employing a quantitative methodology with a random sample of 73 employees and utilizing Structural Equation Modeling with PLS analysis, we found a significant positive direct relationship between job flexibility and employee commitment, highlighting the importance of a flexible work environment in fostering employee commitment. Moreover, a highly significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and employee commitment underscored the pivotal role of job satisfaction in influencing commitment both job flexibility and organizational levels. While the direct link between organizational support and job satisfaction was non-significant, the indirect paths from support to employee commitment through job satisfaction were found to be significant and marginally significant, respectively. These findings provide valuable insights for Bank DKI leaders seeking to optimize workplace strategies for enhanced employee commitment.

Abstract

Objective. This study aims to evaluate and examine the effect of transactional leadership style on employee turnover at PT Lion Express. Method. The research method used is a quantitative approach, where data collection is done through questionnaires. The population of this study consisted of former employees at PT Lion Express, which amounted to 73 individuals. The sample was taken using the saturated sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 25 software, with descriptive analysis methods and hypothesis testing in the form of regression analysis. Results. This research shows that transactional leadership style has a significant influence on employee turnover of PT Lion Express. This study also shows that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The results of this study confirm that transactional leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee turnover. Implication. The findings provide valuable insights for the management of PT Lion Express, who may consider evaluating and possibly changing the applied leadership style to reduce employee turnover rate as well as against companies with similar leadership styles.

Abstract

This research was made to identify the emergence of the quiet quitting phenomenon, the contributing factors associated with the trend of work-life balance, and the follow-up impacts that happen in an educational institution through a qualitative-descriptive method approach with data collection through interviews and literature studies.. The results showed that most employees are indicated to have done quiet quitting due to various reasons, such as efforts for work-life balance to reduce the level of burnout or stress due to workloads that are not proportional to compensation and expectations, which results in the level of job satisfaction continuing to drop. However, employees in an educational institution that promotes Merdeka Belajar curriculum are demanded to constantly make a variety of teaching and learning innovations, be responsive in dealing with the changing era, responsive in dealing with educational problems, and continue to develop their own capacity as educators and agents of change. Therefore, teachers and school staff should not lose their passion and enthusiasm for work to increase their motivation to make the Merdeka Belajar movement a successful program for the sake of Indonesian education and the betterment of the nation

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and determine the influence of work motivation and work discipline partially and simultaneously on employee performance. This research uses a quantitative approach with the research subjects are employees of PT. MTI at the Merchant Operations section with a sample size of 45 respondents. This research uses data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires and supported secondary data. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis with data processing using the SPSS 27 program. The results of the research show that the work motivation variable does not have a partial or simultaneous effect on performance with a significance of 0.388, while the work discipline variable has a partial and simultaneous effect on PT.MTI employees performance with a significance of 0.001. With the Adjusted R Square value of the coefficient of determination (R²) is 18.6%.
