Abstract

This study aims to discuss the need for achievement in the student environment in the publication of scientific articles through the formation of the "Kelas Menulis " of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies, State Islamic University of Mataram. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying descriptive-analytical methods. The formal object of this study is the theory of the need for achievement in the phase of writing scientific articles within the framework of the scientific publication continuum project. While the material object of this study is the practice of writing scientific articles in the environment of academic writing ambassador students. The results of the discussion show that academic writing ambassadors have fulfilled the aspects of the theory of the need for achievement in the phase of practicing writing scientific articles, namely first, the desire to exceed, second, achieving standards, and third, hard work to achieve achievements. This study concludes that academic writing ambassadors in the "Kelas Menulis" of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies, State Islamic University of Mataram are considered to have fulfilled the theory of the need for achievement in the phase of practicing writing scientific articles.

Abstract

This study aims to propose a solution to the problem of applying a scientific article writing module with a peer group model in the case of training in compiling research formulas. This study uses a qualitative approach by implementing field studies. The results of the study and discussion show that there are best practices for applying peer groups in the form of providing collaborative feedback to improve scientific article writing skills according to the module reference. This study concludes that the peer group model can overcome the problem of applying modules in cases of scientific article writing practice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the success of implementing a module in scientific article writing exercises in a student environment. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying a field study method. The results of the study and discussion show that 50 participants have carried out 38 exercises with varying progress and 1 person has successfully completed the exercise within three days. These results confirm that the implementation of the module still faces major challenges regarding the need for effective learning strategies that can encourage the creation of independence in the student environment. This study concludes that the implementation of the module has brought success, especially when supported by effective learning strategies for student independence in improving scientific article writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss writing tutors as a determinant of success in training students to write scientific articles. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the case study method. The results of the study and discussion show that various factors determine success, such as modules, writing tutors, participant motivation, and support systems. Specifically related to writing tutors, there are various roles that have been carried out, such as helping facilitators, explaining modules, providing tips and tricks and strategies for writing scientific articles, assisting participants in writing step by step, implementing the peer group model well, creating a fluid and enjoyable atmosphere, and others. This study concludes that writing tutors have a significant role in determining the success of implementing scientific article writing training in the Indonesian student environment.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the flash training in writing scientific articles based on the Writing Class module. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the field study method. The results and discussion show that various factors contribute to the success of the flash training in writing scientific articles, such as the module, facilitator, writing tutor, and the sincerity of the training participants. This study concludes that the flash training based on the module is very effective in producing standard article manuscripts for scientific publication needs. This study recommends that higher education institutions develop a crash training model to improve students' skills in writing scientific articles.
