Abstract

Pencemaran limbah minyak akan berdampak buruk terhadap lingkungan seperti penurunan daya lingkungan.Penurunan daya lingkungan dapat dilihat dari rusaknya kehidupan organisme lingkungan perairan. Rusaknya kehidupan organisme lingkungan perairan sangat berdampak pada produktivitas nelayan yang ada di dunia. MenurutIMO (Internasional Maritime Organization) kualifikasi kepekatan limbah minyak yang dapat dibuang harus kurang dari 15 ppm (Part Per Million). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang dan mewujudkan sistem monitoring oil waterseparator pada sistem kapal. Sistem ini berfungsi sebagai pemisah antara air laut dengan minyak yang disebabkan limbah dari ruang mesin kapal yang ditampung pada tangki. Proses pemisahan ini menggunakan komponen servovalve yang memiliki fungsi sebagai kran automatic yang dimana pergerakannya diperintah  oleh mikrokontroller arduino mega 2560 melalui sensor Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) . Sedangkan sensor Total Dissolve Solid (TDS)dan display  Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) sebagai indikator sekaligus untuk memantau proses tersebut. Penerapan barometer ini ditujukan untuk memonitor kadar air yang dibuang agar tidak melebihi 15 ppm.

Abstract

Penyimpanan dokumen berharga dalam loker kerja adalah untuk menjaga agar dokumen tidak hilang. Selama ini loker kerja menggunakan kunci konvensional, jadi tingkat keamanannya kurang karena mudah dirusak secara paksa. Maka dibutuhkan sistem otomatisasi dan peringatan dini untuk mengamankan dokumen berharga.Perancangan ini dilakukan untuk membuat loker kerja menggunakan arduino, bluetooth, aplikasi android, sensor getaran,solenoid  kunci elektrik dan LCD. Perancangan loker kerja yang telah dibuat dapat mengamankan secara otomatis. Jika Bluetooth terhubung dengan android maka pengamanan lemari loker akan dapat bekerja secara otomatis dalam proses buka/tutup pintu loker kerja. Dengan menggunakan alat ini maka mampu memberikan keamanan secara otomatis.

Abstract

Brushless direct current (BLDC) motor speed performance is an essential component that must be considered in the electric vehicle drive system. This research aims to obtain the transfer function from the mathematical modeling of the BLDC motor and optimization of the BLDC motor so that a high transient response is received. The method used in this study is to identify system parameters and then model them using the structure of the autoregressive exogenous (ARX) polynomial model. Meanwhile, to get a high transient response performance, optimization is done with a hybrid intelligent controller. The experimental findings indicate that the optimization process utilizing the bat method yielded the most favorable transient response. The resulting values for the proportional gain (Kp), integral gain (Ki), and derivative gain (Kd) were determined to be 31.2685, 7.7375, and -1.1934, respectively. In the current investigation, the minimum frequency value is 6381934.619. Also determined are the transient response characteristics, which include a rise time of 0.289 seconds, a settling time of 10.9 seconds, an overshoot of 3.4%, and a peak time of 1.04 seconds. Furthermore, the closed-loop system demonstrates stable behavior in terms of stability.

Abstract

Pembangkit listrik tenaga gas dan uap (PLTGU) sekarang ini memiliki peran penting sebagai penyedia energi listrik nasional, termasuk PLTGU Grati yang berkontribusi menjaga keandalan pada system Jaringan Jawa Bali terutama di wilayah timur. PLTGU Grati blok 1 dan 2 didesain dapat beroperasi dengan 2 tipe bahan bakar (dual fuel) yaitu gas dan HSD. Pada kondisi tertentu dimana kebutuhan system yang tinggi dan keterbatasan suplay gas, PLTGU Grati diminta oleh P2B untuk beroperasi walaupun dengan bahan bakar HSD sehingga kondisi kesiapan pembangkit senantiasa harus tetap terjaga termasuk fuel system. Salah satu gangguan yang menyebabkan status Starting failure (SF) di G 1.2 PLTGU adalah kegagalan MFO Pump Trip yang disebabkan rendahnya tekanan suction pump (menyentuh batasan trip ≤ -0,3 kg/cm2). Berdasarkan kondisi operasi, diketahui bahwa inlet filter/strainer FO Pump kondisi kotor dan Diffrential Pressure menunjukan nilai yang tinggi (≥ 0,5 kg/cm2).

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dispenser dengan berbagai fitur kini marak dimasyarakat dan sudah banyak dispenser yang telah memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengakses air isi ulang dalam kemasan galon. Bahasa ini akan mengacu pada implementasi Esp32 sebagai hardware inti untuk menjalankan sistem dispenser. Pada sistem ini selain Esp32 sebagai inti ada perangkat hardware pendukung antara lain, Pompa air, RFID (MFRC22), relay, LCD 16x2 I2C, Float sensor, buzzer, Flow sensor, keypad 4x4, PSU (Power Supply Unit) semua perangkat akan dijalankan sesuai dengan logika sistem dispenser. Pada sistem dispenser menggunakan RFID tag untuk melakukan di dalam RFID tag harus sudah terisi saldo dan sudah terdaftar pada server dispenser, RFID reader akan membaca RFID tag dan data RFID tag akan diteruskan ke Esp32 untuk diproses dan dikirimkan ke server untuk diverifikasi data. Menurut pengujian alat Esp32 menjalankan logika sistem dari awal hingga akhir dengan pembacaan data yang cukup cepat untuk kelas mikrokontroller.

Abstract

As a follow-up step to the use of abundant solar energy sources. So efforts are made to make optimal use of solar energy. In a series of research conducted at the Electrical Power Engineering Laboratory, there are stages to realize a good Solar Power Plant. The installation of this solar power plant has its own characteristics, which at this time will be combined with PLN electricity. In the process of merging operations with PLN electricity, an automatic transfer system is needed, known as the Automatic Transfer Switch. In the Automatic Transfer Switch system, it combines the Alternating Current system as PLN electricity and in PLTS as an output inverter. This Automatic Transfer Switch has special characteristics that are able to perform the Switching process between PLN and PLTS electricity. There must be a delayed transfer time. Perfect contact and protection system. The measurement system that is displayed clearly on the system panel board becomes an important thing. It is hoped that this research will result in automatic transfer switches that are quite effective, reliable and safe in operation.

Abstract

Pencemaran limbah minyak berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan, yang menyebabkan penurunan kualitas lingkungan, terutama yang dibuktikan dengan dampak yang merugikan bagi organisme air. Dampak tersebut secara signifikan mempengaruhi produktivitas nelayan global. Organisasi Maritim Internasional (IMO) menetapkan Maritim Internasional (IMO) menetapkan konsentrasi limbah minyak maksimum yang diizinkan untuk maksimum yang diizinkan untuk dibuang sebesar 15 ppm (Part Per Million). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan sistem pemantauan pemisah minyak-air di atas kapal. Sistem ini berfungsi sebagai pemisah antara air laut dan minyak yang berasal dari ruang mesin kapal, yang yang ditampung dalam sebuah tangki. Proses pemisahan menggunakan katup servo, yang bertindak sebagai keran otomatis, yang dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Mega 2560 menggunakan Sensor Light Dependent Resistor (LDR). Selain itu, sensor Total Dissolve Solid (TDS) dan Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) berfungsi sebagai indikator dan monitor untuk proses tersebut. Implementasi sistem memastikan bahwa air yang dibuang tetap berada di bawah ambang batas 15 ppm.

Abstract

Abstract Natural disasters often occur on this earth, especially in Indonesia. There are several types of disasters that occur, namely: geological disasters, hydrometeorological disasters and others. This natural disaster caused quite a lot of casualties and not a few material. Good post-natural disaster management is necessary to minimize the number of victims of a disaster. One form of handling this natural disaster is by providing electrical energy that can be used to provide lighting and communication systems. The provision of electrical energy consists of several integrated systems to form a compact, simple and efficient unit. This tool consists of a Solar Power Generation system, GenSet system, inverter system, Change Over Switch system and Global Positioning System system. This tool is named SUNPO which stands for Sun Power or Solar Power. With this SUNPO, it can function as a power supply to power direct current loads and alternating current loads. If the solar power is not enough to charge the battery then the system can be operated with a GenSet. Meanwhile, to find out the position of SUNPO, a Global Positioning System is also installed. Highlights: Effective Disaster Response: Efficient post-disaster management is crucial to minimize casualties and damage caused by natural disasters, especially in Indonesia. SUNPO Tool Integration: The SUNPO (Sun Power) tool integrates solar power generation, GenSet backup, inverter, changeover switch, and GPS systems to provide a reliable and compact solution for electricity supply in disaster-stricken areas. Dual Power Source: SUNPO offers dual power sources - solar energy and GenSet - ensuring continuous electricity supply for both direct and alternating current loads, enhancing communication and lighting systems for affected communities. Abstract

Addressing challenges in solar panel systems, hybrid energy storage systems have gained prominence but face distribution imbalances. This study presents a power distribution approach for hybrid systems in intermittent solar scenarios, leveraging First-Order Filters to allocate power between primary and supporting storage. By employing Lowpass and Highpass First-Order Filters, energy management issues in off-grid systems are addressed. Experimental findings reveal that during high intermittency, the battery stores 387 W and contributes 62 W, while the supercapacitor stores 297 W and contributes 167 W as the primary storage. Conversely, during low intermittency, the battery stores 390 W and contributes 62 W, while the supercapacitor stores 295 W and contributes 164 W. Surprisingly, the supercapacitor doesn't outperform the battery in power efficiency as the primary storage. This work contributes to enhancing the viability of solar-powered hybrid energy storage systems by optimizing power distribution strategies. Highlight: Distribution Imbalances in Hybrid Systems: Hybrid energy storage systems for solar panels face challenges in power distribution, motivating the need for innovative solutions. First-Order Filter Allocation: This research introduces a power distribution approach utilizing First-Order Filters to effectively allocate power between primary and supporting storage in intermittent solar scenarios. Comparative Power Efficiency: Experimental results demonstrate the performance of battery and supercapacitor as primary storage, revealing unexpected power efficiency outcomes under varying solar intermittency, informing strategic energy management decisions. Abstract

The steam generator is vital equipment in oil and gas refinery industry. One of the steam generator equipment in TPPI Refinery other than boiler is Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). Determine efficiency performance HRSG Unit 822-B202 in this research using compare between energy heat flow for produce steam and energy heat flow from exhaust gas on HRSG stack. The analyze result of efficiency HRSG Unit 822- B-202 when Start-up Commissioning was gotten 96.42%, on September 2021 92.47%, on October 2021 91.46% and November 2021 88.41%. Has occurred decrease of efficiency from start-up Commissioning until November 2021 about 16.95%. Over the past 3 months, efficiency has tended to decrease since commissioning. The calculated decrease in efficiency after commissioning in September was 3.96%. Then from September to October it decreased by 4.97%. However, in November it decreased again by 8.02%. So the accumulated decrease in efficiency of HRSG 822-B-202 during the quarter from Commissioning to November 2021 is 16.95%. So the average decrease in efficiency per month is 5.65%.
