Abstract

In order to develop the resilient agricultural be required the professional agricultural officers, creative , innovative , and trustworthy in the field setting, counseling services and appropriate qualifications and specifications necessary for the development of sustainable agriculture. Productivity is influenced by individual, social work environment, and work conditions factors. Creativity is influenced by encouragement from outside the self, such as control or supervision by the leadership and service provided a relevant agencies. The aims of this study are to analyze (1) the influence of the supervision by the Food Security and Agricultural Counseling (BKPLUH) on the productivity of agricultural instructur, (2) the effect of the service provided by the Food Security and Agricultural Counseling (BKPLUH) on the productivity of agricultural instructur, (3) the influence of supervision and services provided by the Food Security and Agricultural Counseling (BKPLUH)  on the productivity of agricultural instructur. The results shows that the positive effect between control and productivity of 0.269 but is very weak at only 0,072 at 5 percent confidence level. There is a positive effect between BKPLUH services on the productivity of 0.583 and strength are approximately 0.383 with a confidence level of 5 percent. There is positive effect of BKPLUH supervision and services on the work productivity for 0.017 and 0.584. Keywords : Agricultural Counseling, Productivity, Supervision

Abstract

Plant Response and Crop Watermelon Production (Citrullus Vulgaris Schard.) With the provision of Liquid Organic Fertilizer. The purpose of this study to determine the growth and production of watermelon plants treated with liquid organic fertilizer. The study was conducted in Bambel District, Southeast Aceh, with an altitude of 220 meters above sea level. The research using non factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) consist of 4 levels: M0 = Control, M1 = 75 cc / l liter air / polybag, M2 = 150 cc / l liter air / polybag and M3 = 200 cc / l liter air / polybag with 4 replications. The parameters observed were plant stem length (cm), flowering time (day), fruit weight of first harvest (gr). From this research, it can be concluded that Organic Fertilizer Response (M) shows an unstable difference in observation parameters of the third flowering time and the interaction on observation parameters of plant stem length at plant age 25 DAP, 50 DAP and 75 DAP, harvest time of first stage and the first fruit weight per sample of each plot shows significant effects. On observation of flowering time, the provision of liquid organic fertilizer gives no significant effect on each flowering time, observed that flowering I,II,and III. For the parameters of the first harvest, watermelon had a significant effect with the heaviest weight on the M1 treatment Keywords : Watermelon, Liquid Organik Fertilizer, Growth, Production

Abstract

Untuk menghasilkan bibit kopi yang unggul selain melalui pembiakan vegetative juga dapat dilakukan dengan memodifikasi lingkungan tumbuh bibit tanaman kopi misalnya dengan menggunakan inoculum jamur mikoriza yang diinokulasi ke media tanam tanaman. Mikoriza merupakan asosiasi antara tumbuhan dan jamur yang hidup dalam tanah. Miselium mikoriza dapat memperluas kontak area tanah dan akar tanaman, sehingga mampu meningkatkan serapan hara dan air. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan mempergunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu M0 (tanpa pemberian mikoriza); M1 (20 g/tan); M2 (40 g/tan); M3 (60 g/tan) yang diulang 5 kali. Tujuan penelitian adalah melihat keefektifan mikoriza terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kopi hasil setek sambung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan pemberian mikoriza pada media tanam tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap parameter jumlah daun, bobot basah dan bobot kering tanaman bibit kopi. Kecenderungan yang tampak adalah perlakuan pemberian mikoriza memberikan hasil pengamatan yang lebih baik dibandingkan tanaman control.Kata kunci : Setek sambung, Pembibitan, Mikoriza, Kopi

Abstract

Abstract This study was to determine the effect of adding several types of organic fertilizers to the nursery media for coffee plants. It is expected that data will be obtained that can describe the growth of coffee plant seeds (Coffee sp) well so that superior coffee plant seeds will be produced. The method used was an experimental method using a non factorial randomized block design consisting of 4 planting media treatments that were repeated 3 times. As a growing medium used land (M0); soil + vermicompost (M1); soil + quail dung (M2) and soil + biochar (M3). The parameters observed were, wet weight and dry weight of the plant and root canopy ratio. The nursery was carried out for 5 months. In the parameters of wet weight and plant dry weight analysis of variance showed that media treatment had a very significant effect, namely on the M1 treatment. Whereas the root canopy ratio parameters did not show any effect, although the M1 treatment tended to show the lowest root canopy ratio, which means that the seedlings of this plant had an indication of a better root system.

Abstract

Dryland soils a very high potential land for the development of agricultural crops, including vegetable crops, although the obstacles faced are due to low soil fertility, therefore efforts that can be made to increase production can use mycorrhizal biofertilizers and the use of high-yielding eggplant varieties. Hyphal elongation by mycorrhizal biofertilizer is expected to increase N, P, and K nutrient uptake, growth, and yield of green eggplant and green eggplant varieties can adapt well to less suitable environments. This research was conducted on a farmer's land on Klp Raya Road, Talang Kelapa, Alang-alang Lebar District, South Sumatra Province from March to June 2022. The research used field experiments.  The experimental design used RAK Factorial with 6 treatment combinations that were repeated 4 x.  Factor 1: Variety (V): Milano (V1), Ratih-Hijau-1 (V2).  Factor 2: Mycorrhizal Biofertiliser (M): 5 g (M1), 10 g (M2), 15 g (M3) per plant. The highest eggplant yield was achieved by the Milano variety with mycorrhizal biofertilizer 10 g/plant produce 10.14 kg/plot or equivalent to 27.04 tonnes/ha and increased 93.88% when compared to Ratih Hijau-1 variety with mycorrhizal biofertilizer 5 g/plant.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of participation of farmers at the implementation stage and the stage of yield utilization in the AUTP (Rice Farming Insurance) program and analyze the influence of farmers' understanding / knowledge factors on AUTP, socialization of agricultural extension workers, the amount of premiums paid, the number of claims received against participation farmers in the AUTP program. This research was conducted in the District of Sukamakmur, Aceh Besar district with the method of determining respondents using simple random sampling. The number of samples analyzed in this study totaled 55 people in 4 study villages. This study uses a quantitative approach. Analyze the level of farmer participation in the AUTP program calculated using an ordinal scale and to analyze the factors that influence the participation of farmers in the AUTP program using the Spearman correlation test. Based on the analysis of high farmer participation rates, it can be concluded that farmers have realized the importance of AUTP for the sustainability of their farming so that they voluntarily want to participate in the AUTP program. Based on the correlation relationship, it can be concluded that farmers' understanding / knowledge of AUTP, socialization of agricultural instructors, the number of claims received has a positive correlation with the level of participation
