Abstract

The team of lecturers from the Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global did socialization activities for the development of English language skills for the second class of MTs Darul Aminin NW Aikmual Lombok Tengah in order to fulfill one of the Tridharma elements of higher education in the field of community service. English grammar or grammar with Simple Present Tense material as a reference in developing English language skills in this community service. There were 35 students at MTs Darul Aminin NW Aikmual, all of whom came from class A. Each student had difficulties, especially in understanding the Simple Present Tense material, which was proven by the results of the pre-test. Efforts to develop English skills include a pre-test, discussion of material, games, practice questions, and post-test. Besides students being able to use sentence forms properly and correctly, students can also understand Simple Present Tense sentence forms with a new learning atmosphere and more fun learning methods and this is the result of this community service agenda.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to develop the Speaking skills of the second class of the students of SMK Negeri 3 Gunungsari Lombok Barat through the use of TED Talk Videos. Listening to TED Talks Video can provide an overview of content structure, make content understanding more optimal, also facilitate the teaching and learning process in more depth, and make learning more stimulating because it applies new models in learning. Through the TED Talk Video, we can learn about the ability to speak effectively in public and learn how intonation, body movements, eye contact, and control awareness without anxiety, can boost students' self-confidence. Conduct socialization and education regarding efforts to develop speaking skills by using TED Talks Videos as a solution that can be used to overcome the English-Speaking Skill constraints of students at the[i] second class of SMK Negeri 3 Gunungsari Lombok Barat.

Abstract

Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya hipertensi pada masyarakat, seperti riwayat keluarga dan gaya hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor riwayat keluarga dan gaya hidup yang mempengaruhi hipertensi pada masyarakat. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif eksploratif, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik accidental sampling berjumlah 159 responden dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden tidak ada riwayat keluarga sebanyak 128 orang (80.5%) dan memiliki gaya hidup sehat sebanyak 111 orang (69.8%). Kesimpulan, sebagian besar responden tidak ada riwayat keluarga hipertensi dan memiliki gaya hidup yang sehat.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini difokuskan pada pendampingan dan pelatihan peningkatan keterampilan literasi digital Pemuda di Dusun Surebaye Desa Barabali. Penentuan pelatihan ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi digital. Selain itu penyebaran HOAX dikalangan remaja sangat masif, sehingga masyarakat sangat mudah termakan oleh berita-berita bohong yang dapat meresahkan masyarakat. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada PKM ini diantaranya: 1) membantu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital melalui kegiatan pelatihan multimedia, 2) memberikan pemahaman bagaimana cara menyaring informasi-informasi yang tersebar di masyarakat melalui literasi digital, 3) memberikan kesempatan dan pengalaman kerja untuk dosen dan mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan PKM ini adalah melalui ceramah dan pelatihan. Materi-materi terkait pelatihan disampaikan melalui ceramah dan diskusi. Kemudian selanjutnya pelatihan langsung dilaksanakan dengan praktik secara langsung. Kegiatan PKM ini secara keseluruan mendapakan hasil yang baik dan memuaskan. Beberapa komponen yang berhasil dicapai dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diantaranya: 1) ketecapaian tujuan kegiatan, 2) tecapainya target materi yang telah direncanakan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyz what kinds of attitudes showed in President Barrack Obama's speech, how does President Barrack Obama express his attitudes, and how does President Barrack Obama amplify his attitude toward Islam in his Al-Azhar University speech. Based on the data analysis, this research concluded that president Barrack Obama showed the three kinds of attitude namely affect, judgment,and appreciation. The affect dominates the proportion of the attitudes employed in president Barrack Obama's speech 25 sentences it equal to 53%, followed by judgment in the second place'13 sentences it equal to 28%. Appreciation was the least resource of attitude used in the president Obama's speech 9 sentences it equal to 19%. The positive attitude consists of 36 sentences it equals to 77% than negative one consists of 11 sentences it equals to 23%, because he knew that America and Islam have been in tension. In amplifying his attitude the use of focus is more frequents than the force in which 33 sentences in focus and 14 sentences in force. As well as the amplification of President Barrack Obama's attitude tend to focus because America and Islam has been in tension therefore he focused on improving the relationship between America and Islam. As American president who spoke in front of Muslim majority, he was a marvelous leader who could analyze problems and find the solutions.

Abstract

This research deals with the grammar skill that is the students understanding of passive voice. This research is aimed to investigate the students understanding of passive voice at the second semester students of English educational Program at Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global in academic year 2022/2023, the title is taken by the writer because he wants to answer the statement of problem that stated do the students have understanding of passive voice. Therefore, the writer proposed to find out whether the second semester students of English educational Program at Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global have understanding passive voice. In this research the writer gave two kinds of test to the students, the grammar test in multiple choice and modified test is changing the active sentence into passive sentence, the writer took the second semester students as the population that consist of four classes with the total students until 10 students and the writer took all of students as the sample. The result of the investigation showed from 23 students, the students who was classification as good were 8 students and 15 students were classification as low. Arriving at the end of this writing the writer restates the conclusion of research, the achievement level of second semester students of English educational Program at Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global do not have understanding on passive voice

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in speaking ability of class XI students at SMA Negeri 01 Aikmel, Kecamatan Aikmel, Kabupaten Lombok Timur using the Flipped Classroom method. Classroom action research is the type of research used in this research. The object of this research is SMA Negeri 01 Aikmel, Kecamatan Aikmel, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara. The use of speaking tests and observation sheets was used to collect data in this research. The data was analyzed and the data obtained in cycle II experienced an increase with a score of 83.17%, cycle I also experienced an increase with an average score of 72.87% and in pre-action an average score of 62.78% was obtained, which shows 77% of students having problems in speaking. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the Flipped Classroom method can improve the speaking skills of class XI students at SMA Negeri 01 Aikmel, Kecamatan Aikmel, Lombok Timur.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pelaksanaan pengbdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dalam menghadapi era digital. Sasaran dalam program pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru yang berhome base di di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Sedau Kecamatan Narmada Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Pelatihan ini telah dilaksanakan selama 1 hari yaitu pada tanggal 3 April 2025 dengan jumlah peserta 15 orang guru. Peserta yang mengikuti program pelatihan ini memiliki disiplin ilmu dan latar belakang pendidikan yang berbeda-beda. Materi yang diberikan yaitu pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dalam era digital, sehingga bisa menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif .Pelaksaan kegiatan dilakukan secara tatap muka. Pemberian materi berjalan dengan baik dan dilakukan pendampingan oleh fasilitator, untuk guru-guru yang masih memiliki kendala dan belum mengetahui fungsi tools-tools aplikasi pada saat praktek pembuatan media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan evaluasi terlihat antusiasme yang tinggi yang diperlihatkan oleh guru-guru yang terlibat dalam pelatihan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini guru-guru telah mampu membuat media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia sesuai dengan bidang ilmu masing masing.

Abstract

Hospitalisasi pada anak dapat menimbulkan kecemasan dan stress dimana hal itu diakibatkan karena adanya perpisahan, kehilangan kontrol, ketakutan mengenai kesakitan pada tubuh, serta nyeri dimana kondisi tersebut belum pernah dialami sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat kecemasan pada anak pra sekolah yang menjalani hospitalisasi di ruang anak RSUD Yuliddin Away Tapaktuan. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cros-sectional. Populasi adalah pasien anak yang dirawat diruang rawat anak dalam jangka waktu 3 (tiga) bulan terakhir terhitung mulai bulan Januari, Februari, dan Maret 2021 berjumlah 94 orang. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 31 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Analisa data menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil uji Mann Whitney test diperoleh ada hubungan lama hari rawat dengan tingkat kecemasan p value 0,004 <α= 0,05), ada hubungan lingkungan rumah sakit dengan tingkat kecemasan p value 0,004 < α= 0,05), ada hubungan Emosi yang ditekan dengan tingkat kecemasan p value 0,009 < α= 0,05), tidak ada hubungan sebab – sebab fisik dengan tingkat kecemasan p value 0,292 < α= 0,05). Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan masukan kepada institusi pelayanan dan menjadi pedoman untuk meminimalkan kecemasan pada anak yang dirawat di rumah sakit.Kata Kunci : Hospitalisasi, Pra Sekolah, Tingkat KecemasanHospitalization in children can cause anxiety and stress where it is caused by separation, loss of control, fear of bodily pain, and pain where these conditions have never been experienced before. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the level of anxiety in pre-school children undergoing hospitalization in the children's room at Yuliddin Away Hospital Tapaktuan. This type of quantitative research by design is cross-sectional. The population is pediatric patients who were treated in pediatric wards in the last 3 (three) months starting from January, February and March 2021 totaling 94 people. The number of samples is 31 people. Sampling technique accidental sampling. Data analysis using test Chi Square. Results test Mann Whitney test It was found that there is a relationship between the length of treatment days and the level of anxiety p value 0.004 <α= 0.05), there is a relationship between the hospital environment and anxiety levels p value 0.004 < α= 0.05), there is a relationship between suppressed emotions and anxiety levels p value 0.009 < α= 0.05), there is no relationship between physical causes and anxiety level p value 0.292 < α= 0.05).The results of this study can provide input to service institutions and serve as guidelines for minimizing anxiety in children who are hospitalized.Keywords : Hospitalization, Pre School, Anxiety Level

Abstract

This particular research was intended to reveal any significant effect of using Facebook in improving students’ writing skill and to what extent Facebook contributed to the development of students’ writing skill. Besides that, this research also tried to know how the students respond toward the use of Facebook in teaching writing. This research was experimental research in which the researcher employed the two groups design where the control and experimental group were given pre-test before treatment and post-test after the different treatment that has been given. The population of this research was all the second-grade students of SMAN 1 Btukliang Utara in academic year 2025/2026 while the sample for this research was taken using cluster random sampling technique, then taken XI IPA 5 as the control group and XI IPA 6 as the experimental group.  The data collection was done through test and questionnaire. The mean score of control class (MX= 19.18 > MY = 8) then further analyzed using t-test, found that t count > t table, where t-count = 2.90 and t-table = 1.99 at 5% level of significant and according to the existing criteria that the differences between control group and experimental group were significant. And referring to the mean score, it was also found that the experimental class, which was taught using Facebook had the better ability in writing than the students in control class which were taught using traditional media. In other words, Facebook can significantly improve the students’ writing skill. Data about the students’ response were analyzed using Mi (ideal mean) and ISD (ideal standard deviation) formulas with five scales conversion guide. The questionnaire data analysis found that most of the students responded the use of Facebook in teaching English writing at the level “very good”. In other words, Facebook can increase students’ motivation and the potential of Facebook to be utilized in English class especially writing class.
