Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Geogebra software on student learning outcomes on the quadratic function material in Class X MA Sarji Ar-Rasyid Situbondo. The research method used a quasi-experimental research design with data collection techniques used, namely pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used the normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. From the t-test analysis, results obtained sig 0.263> É‘ 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is no significant effect between students taught by learning GeoGebra software with conventional learning. This result is due to students' low ability and experience in using Geogebra software for mathematics learning.

Abstract

In this study, the goal to be achieved is to determine whether there is an influence of the use of Microsoft PowerPoint learning media on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class VII MTs Raudlatut Thalibin triangle material. After analyzing the data and testing the hypothesis, the value of the correlation coefficient level between the use of Microsoft PowerPoint learning media (X) and learning outcomes (Y) is 0.678. In testing the hypothesis the result is that there is a high influence between the use of Microsoft PowerPoint learning media and student learning outcomes. Then prove the working hypothesis (Ha) using the F test, Ha will be proven if Fcount is greater than Ftable with a significant level of 5%. The Fcount is 32.240 while the F-table is 4.098 at N = 40, meaning that Fcount is greater than Ftable so that it is said that there is a significant influence between the use of Microsoft PowerPoint learning media on learning outcomes. The effective contribution or influence of the use of Microsoft PowerPoint learning media on learning outcomes is 45.91% in class VII students of MTs Raudlatut Thalibin

Abstract

Pemberitaan di media massa dan televisi bahwa semakin hari jumlah orang yang terjangkit covid-19 semakin banyak dan jumlah kematian akibat pandemi ini juga terus bertambah. Meskipun ada beberapa yang dinyatakan sembuh, namun tetap harus berhati-hati dan tidak meremehkan covid-19. Hal ini membuat masyarakat resah dan khawatir terutama masyarakat yang masih awam dan minim pengetahuan tentang penularan dan cara pencegahan infeksi covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mempunyai tujuan yakni untuk meningkatkan wawasan masyarakat Lingkungan Krajan RT.04 RW.05 Kelurahan Dawuhan akan pentingnya melakukan pencegahan dini penyebaran covid-19 melalui kegiatan sosialisasi pencegahan infeksi covid-19 untuk mengurangi penyebaran pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Lingkungan Krajan RT.04 RW.05 Kelurahan Dawuhan yang berlangsung selama 1 hari yaitu pada hari Minggu, 12 Juli 2020 jam 09.00-12.00 WIB. Narasumber sebanyak 2 orang memberikan materi tentang pengenalan karakteristik covid-19, beserta langkah-langkah pencegahannya, pengendalian terhadap infeksi covid-19, serta strategi dalam pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi covid-19 berkaitan dengan pelayanan kesehatan. Lalu dilaksanakan praktek langsung cara pencegahan penyebaran covid-19, seperti mencuci tangan dan menggunakan masker yang baik dan benar yang dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan senam sehat. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang cara mencegah penyebaran covid-19 sejak dini dan dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga hingga seluruh lapisan masyarakat Lingkungan Krajan RT.04 RW.05 Kelurahan Dawuhan, sehingga wilayah tersebut terbebas dari pandemi covid-19

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of study habits and learning independence on students’ critical thinking skills in the Algebra Structure course at STKIP PGRI Situbondo using a quantitative method. The respondents were 4th-semester students of the Mathematics Education study program in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests, then analyzed using multiple regression. The results showed that the study habits variable was reliable, while the learning independence variable was  reliable. The average critical thinking skill of students was in the high category (84.33). The obtained multiple regression equation was Y = 15.511 + 0.125X₁ + 0.891X₂ with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.180. The significance test yielded a Sig. value of 0.410 > 0.05, indicating that study habits and learning independence did not have a significant effect on critical thinking skills. This study suggests that the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills is influenced by other factors beyond study habits and learning independence.
