Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes in the material estimation results of numerical operations in class IV Elementary School. The research design used is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were class IV students of SDN 27 Anak Air. With the simple random sampling technique, the IVC class was obtained as the experimental class and IVB as the control class. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test, obtained tcount = 2.423 and ttable = 1.669 at a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 62. It means tcount> ttable so that Ha is accepted. Therefore, there is a positive and significant effect on the Problem Based Learning learning model on learning outcomes in the material estimation results of numerical operations in class IV Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Pendidikan Matematika Realistik approach (PMR) on student learning outcomes in learning nets to build simple spaces in class V of SDN Cluster VI in the District of Akabiluru, in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. This research is a quantitative study with a type of experiment and quasi-experimental research design. Sampling data is taken by purposive sampling technique. The population is 95 peoples, with a sample of 40 peoples. Based on the research that has been done, obtained t-count> t-table that is 1.98> 1.72 with α = 0.05 which means that Ho is rejected, so Ha is accepted, it meaning there is an influence of Pendidikan Matematika Realistik approach (PMR) of student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning class V Cluster VI District of Akabiluru.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on student learning outcomes in nets build a simple space V V group Kecamatan Sungai Tarab Kabupaten Tanah Datar, in the even semester of the academic year 2018/2019. This research is a quantitative research with experimental type and quasy experimental research design. Sampling data is taken by purposive sampling. Population of 72, with  sample of this study amounted to 40 people. Based on the research that has been done, obtained t count > t table, (2,02 > 1,72) with α = 0.05 is means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, it meaning there is influence the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model of student learning outcomes in nets build a simple space V V group Kecamatan Sungai Tarab Kabupaten Tanah Datar.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the planning, implementation and improvement learning outcomes of students using a problem based learning model in integrated thematic learning in grade IV Elementary School. In this study applying the type of PTK research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Where this research was conducted on class IV B SDN 13 Batu Gadang Padang totaling 29 people consisting of 17 male students and 12 female students. The results of the study showed: a). RPP I cycle 86%, cycle II 94,4% b) Implementation on aspects of the teacher the first cycle 82,5%, cycle second 95% c) Implementation on aspects of learners I cycle 85%, cycle II 96,4% d) Learning outcomes students in first cycle obtaines an average score of 72,24, cycle II 83,32. So that, the problem based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class IV B SDN 13 Batu Gadang Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes on learning mathematics for data presentation material in class V of Elementary School for the 2019/2020 academic year. The population in this study were all elementary schools in the Cluster II of Lubuk Kilangan District, which consisted of 7 schools (3 schools were groups). The samples of this research were class V SDN 08 Padang Besi, totaling 28 people as the experimental class, and class V SDN 06 Padang Besi, totaling 30 people as the control class. The instrument used in this study was an objective test in the form of multiple choices. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. The results showed that the average score for the experimental class that applied learning with the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach was 86.7 higher than the average value for the control class that applied conventional learning was 73.2. This proves that there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in elementary schools using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education approach.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using method of the Polya model on learning outcomes about the story of building the room class V students of Elementary School Nagari Andiang District Lima Puluh Kota. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with the results of several considerations. The instrument used is a test that is a description test. Data analysis techniques in this study used a prerequisite test in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence in the use of the polya model on the learning outcomes of the story about the building the room of class V students of Elementary School Nagari Andiang District Lima Puluh Kota. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% obtained tcount = 5,42 > ttable = 1.68. Mathematics learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group were higher than in the control group,indicated by the control group mean = 68,70 and the mean obtained by the experimental group = 83,35.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective problem-based learning e-module to improve the computational thinking skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method used was Research and Development, using the ADDIE development model. The research instruments used were validation questionnaires, practicality questionnaires for students and teachers, and pretest and posttest question sheets to measure students' abilities. While the data analysis technique to test the validity and practicality using a Likert scale, while the product effectiveness test was carried out using the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design and analyzed using SPSS. The results of the research showed that the validity results based on lesson plans obtained a value of 94.44% (very valid), material expert validators 90.48% (very valid), linguists 92.86% (very valid), and media experts 89.6% (very valid). The practical results can be seen from the student response of 90.42% or very practical, and the teacher's response of 93,52 % or very practical. At the same time, the effectiveness test from the results of the pretest and posttest obtained that count> table, namely 15,499 > 1,711 and Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an average difference in students' computational thinking abilities from the results of the pretest to the results of the posttest in the experimental class. Furthermore, the effectiveness test based on N-gain was obtained at 60.6203 or 60.6%, including the quite effective category. So, the development of PBL-based e-modules assisted by scratch applications to improve the computational thinking skills of Grade V elementary school students is declared valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS serta rendahnya keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis HOTS untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis HOTS untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk guru SD yang berada di Kota Padang sebanyak 25 orang. Metode kegiatan dengan memberikan seminar hakiakt HOTS, pelatihan pelaksanaan pembelajaran HOTS dan pelatihan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis HOTS. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran berbasis HOTS serta meningkatknya keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasi HOTS. Impilikasi kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan referensi bagi praktisi pendidikan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan guru SD dalam proses pembelajaran berbasis HOTS.

Abstract

The goal of this project is to create an electronic module, or E-Module, for third grade elementary school kids that is designed using the Book Creator application and integrated with a STEM learning strategy. Development research, also referred to as Research and Development (R&D) employing the ADDIE paradigm, is this kind of study. The subjects of this study are instrument validators, expert validators (material experts, linguists and media experts) and students in class III SDN 07 Kampung Jawa II, students in class III SDN 04 Rawang and students in class III SDN 17 Kampung Baru. The research instrument consisted of validation sheets, questionnaires and test instruments. The data analysis technique used is validity analysis and practicality analysis. The results of the validity by media experts are 91, 68% with very valid qualifications. The results of the validity of the linguists are equal to 88.95% with valid qualifications. The results of the validity of the media experts are equal to 90.41% with very valid qualifications. The percentage of the teacher's score for product feasibility is 92.06%, which is included in the very practical category. The practicality test percentage of students is 90.31%, which is included in the very practical category. Thus, this research succeeded in producing a STEM-based E-module to improve the scientific literacy skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pengintegrasian nilai-nilai karakter mulia pada pembelajaran matematika. Matematika selama ini masih dianggap oleh banyak kalangan hanya berguna untuk melakukan perhitungan dalam bentuk operasi aritmetika saja. Masih ada anggapan bahwa matematika identik dengan berhitung, misalnya melakukan operasi perkalian, pembagian, penjumlahan, dan pengurangan (KABATAKU), serta kering atau miskin  dengan pendidikan karakter. Pada hal jika ditelusuri lebih jauh dan mendalam matematika mempunyai andil yang sangat besar dalam membentuk karakter mulia (karakter-cerdas) peserta didik pada semua level atau jenjang pendidikan. Matematika ternyata kaya atau banyak mengajarkan sifat-sifat atau karakter mulia seperti konsisten (istiqomah), jujur (siddik), dapat dipercaya (amanah), kreatif, dan karakter mulia lainnya. Kuncinya guru dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dituntut secara kreatif mengembangkan pendidikan karakter mulia  tersebut.
