Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk penelitian yang berupa modul perkuliahan Aljabar Linear yang digunakan ditingkat Universitas yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Modul ini dirancang dan dikembangkan berdasarkan kebutuhan peserta didik. Setelah dikembangkan modul ini divalidasi oleh dua pakar yang menilai aspek kelayakan materi/isi, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan valid ditunjukkan dengan hasil penilaian validasi untuk aspek materi/isi sebesar 51 dari skor maksimal 60, validasi aspek penyajian diperoleh skor 36 dari skor maksimal 40, dan aspek kebahasaan diperoleh skor 13,5 dari skor maksimal 15. Modul yang dikembangkan praktis ditunjukkan dengan hasil penilaian mahasiswa terhadap modul dengan persentase sebesar 38,46% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan 61,54% dengan kriteria baik. Modul yang dikembangkan efektif ditunjukkan dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan rata-rata klasikal 84,23 dan persentase mahasiswa yang nilainya di atas KKM (≥75) adalah 84,62%. ABSTRACTThe research aims to develop a research product that is a Linear Algebra lecture module used at the University level that up to the valid criteria, practical, and effective. The development research used the ADDIE development model. The module was designed and developed based on the students need. The module was validated by two experts who assessed the feasibility of the material / content, the feasibility of presentation, and the feasibility of language after it was developed. The results showed that the developed module was valid, indicated by the results of the validation assessment for the material / content aspect of 51 from a maximum score of 60, the validation of the presentation aspect obtained a score of 36 from a maximum score of 40, and the linguistic aspect obtained a score of 13.5 from a maximum score of 15. The practical developed module was indicated by the results of the student's assessment of the module with a percentage of 38.46% with very good criteria and 61.54% with good criteria. The effective developed module was showed by student learning outcomes with a classical average of 84.23 and the percentage of students whose grades are above the KKM (≥75) is 84.62%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the distance learning process of deaf students during the pandemic. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were mathematics teachers, deaf students, and stakeholders. The research was carried out at the SLBN Kota Magelang and SLB-B YPPALB Magelang . Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by questionnaires, interviews, and document studies. The main instrument in this study was the researcher, while the auxiliary instruments were questionnaires and interview guidelines. The validity used in this research is source triangulation. The results showed that the mathematics distance learning process for deaf students could be implemented in various ways and could be adapted to school conditions and student conditions. Distance learning can be done with the help of media in hand-out modules taken at school before the mathematics learning schedule is implemented. In addition, the distance learning process on the mathematics topic of deaf students can also be carried out through learning videos with additional translated texts. Deaf students can simultaneously watch videos and read explanations from math teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the students’ confidence through the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model in learning mathematics in class VIII D of SMP N 3 Depok. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) using NHT model. The stages in this study consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects include 32 students. The data collection techniques used are a test, questionnaires, and observation. The data collection instruments used are written tests to measure the students’ cognitive learning outcomes, self-confidence questionnaire, and observation sheets to determine the feasibility of learning using the NHT technique. The data analysis technique uses percentages for the learning outcomes using observation sheets, data analysis of descriptive study completeness describing individual and group students’ outcomes, and scoring for self-confidence questionnaire using Likert scale with five criteria intervals. The results of the analysis of this research indicate that mathematics learning increases student confidence by 10.22%. The students’ outcomes (cognitive) have decreased, and one of them is the learning material that is more difficult than the cycle I. The basic competence for cycle I is to complete SPLDV (Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel) while for cycle II, the basic competence is to make and complete mathematical models of problems related to SPLDV. The implementation of learning using the NHT learning model has increased from 81.3% in the first cycle to 96.9% in the second one. It can be concluded that the NHT cooperative learning model is proven to improve the students’ confidence.

Abstract

Mahasiswa calon guru matematika sering menemukan konsep geometris yang sulit untuk dipahami. Hal ini menyebabkan penurunan minat dalam geometri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendekripsikan dampak menggunakan GeoGebra berbasis ELITA pada prestasi belajar mahasiswa calon guru matematika di mata kuliah geometri bidang. Sebanyak 56 siswa dipilih dari program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Tidar, sebuah universitas negeri yang terletak di Magelang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Kelompok eksperimen (35) diajarkan tentang melukis garis-garis istimewa pada segitiga menggunakan GeoGebra sementara kelompok kontrol (36) diajarkan menggunakan metode pengajaran konvensional. Pada akhir penelitian, prestasi belajar mahasiswa diukur dengan menggunakan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GeoGebra berbasis ELITA adalah alat yang efektif untuk mengajar dan belajar geometri bidang di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, kemajuan teknologi yang semakin pesat sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pendidikan. Mutu pendidikan yang baik pastinya akan menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang tinggi yang mampu berpikir kritis, kreatif, sistematis, mampu dalam memecahkan masalah, dan mempunyai akhlak yang baik. Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad 21 yang penting dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat ditinjau dari beberapa segi, salah satunya kemandirian belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MAN 2 Magelang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Siswa dengan tingkat kemandirian belajar tinggi dapat memenuhi semua indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan baik yaitu indikator interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Siswa dengan tingkat kemandirian belajar sedang dapat memenuhi indikator berpikir kritis matematis yaitu indikator interpretasi, analisis, dan evaluasi. Namun, hasil masih kurang tepat dalam indikator inferensi. Siswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah masih kurang dalam memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kritis matematis.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the importance of the online learning process in order to keep it done with an emphasis on student activities to construct knowledge independently. This study aims to analyze conceptual knowledge and student responses to science teacher candidates when implementing an online inquiry learning process by integrating scientific argumentation activities. This research was used quantitative approach with pre-experiment design. The research activity was carried out by first determining the learning design, then applying the learning design to the students, totaling 38 students. In this study, a pretest and posttest were conducted to obtain data on the achievement of student conceptual knowledge. In addition, students also fill out a questionnaire to get student data responses to the learning process being carried out. The results showed that the learning activities carried out were able to increase the conceptual knowledge of students in the high category. In addition, the learning process generally received a positive response from students. The learning process is carried out in three sessions. The first session consisted of problem identification, conducting literature studies, and formulating hypotheses with provisional arguments. The second session consisted of investigation, data analysis, evaluation, evaluation and argumentation. The third session consisted of activities to communicate the experimental results.Keyword: inquiry learning, argumentation activity, online schema on inquiry, conceptual knowledge, students responses.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan karena melihat pentingnya proses pembelajaran online agar tetap dilakukan dengan menitikberatkan pada aktivitas mahasiswa untuk mengkonstruksi pengetahuan secara mandiri dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis capaian pengetahuan konseptual dan respon mahasiswa calon guru IPA ketika diterapkan proses pembelajaran inkuiri yang di desain secara online dengan mengintegrasikan aktivitas argumentasi ilmiah. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-eksperimen. Kegiatan penelitian dilakukan dengan merancang terlebih dahulu desain pembelajaran, kemudian menerapkan desain pembelajaran kepada mahasiswa, sebanyak 38 mahasiswa. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pretest dan posttes untuk mendapatkan data capaian pengetahuan konseptual mahasiswa. Selain itu juga mahasiswa mengisi kuesioner untuk mendapatkan data respon mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan konseptual mahasiswa dengan kategori tinggi. Selain itu, proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara umum mendapat respon yang positif dari mahasiswa. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan dalam tiga sesi. Sesi pertama terdiri dari aktivitas mengidentifikasi masalah, melakukan studi literatur, dan merumuskan hipotesis dengan disertai argumentasi sementara. Sesi kedua terdiri dari aktivitas penyelidikan, analisis data, dan melakukan evaluasi hipotesis serta argumentasi sementara. Sesi ketiga terdiri dari aktivitas mengkomunikasikan hasil eksperimen.Kata kunci: pembelajaran inkuiri, aktivitas argumentasi, inkuiri dalam skema online, pengetahuan konseptual, respon mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' HOTS abilities on trigonometric material based on learning styles. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects were 34 students of class XI MIPA 2 in MAN 2 Magelang. The instrument used was a test instrument. Data analysis was performed through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. HOTS ability of students in learning styles is divergent, the subject can analyze and evaluate indicators but the subject has not been able to create indicators. HOTS ability of students learning style assimilation, the subject can evaluate indicators but not yet able to analyze and create indicators. HOTS ability of students in convergent learning styles, the subject can analyze and evaluate indicators but not yet able to analyze indicators. HOTS ability of students in the learning style of accommodation, the subject can analyze and evaluate indicators but not yet able to create indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan merujuk pada model pengembangan 4D dari Thiagarajan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (LKM) berbasis Problem Based Learning pada mata kuliah Kalkulus Integral dan mengetahui kelayakan LKM tersebut bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Tidar. Kelayakan lembar kerja mahasiswa ditinjau dari beberapa aspek melalui pengujian lembar kerja mahasiswa oleh validator, serta penggunanya, yaitu mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan sebagai subjek uji coba adalah mahasiswa semester II Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Tidar tahun akademik 2019/2020. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, angket analisis kebutuhan, dan angket validasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan penentuan penskoran pada masing-masing aspek kelayakan LKM. Dari hasil penelitian pengembangan Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa berbasis Problem Based Learning pada mata kuliah Kalkulus Integral ini diperoleh hasil penilaian tingkat kelayakan LKM melalui pengujian kepada validator sebesar 91,07% dengan kategori sangat layak dan uji coba terhadap respon mahasiswa sebagai pengguna memperoleh nilai 82,58% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

The research was done for analyze understand mathematical concepts of students on the material of triangular and quadrangular in terms of the characteristics of the student's way of thinking. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were students of class VII F and VII G of SMP Negeri 3 Muntilan. Subject selection procedure using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use tests of mathematical concept comprehension ability, questionnaires of characteristics of ways of thinking, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the characteristics of concrete sequential thinking with Ability to understand high-category mathematical concepts can meet all indicators of understanding mathematical concepts, in the medium category it can meet 5 indicators and the low category only meet 3 indicators; (2) characteristics of abstract sequential thinking with the ability to understand mathematical concepts in the high category can meet 6 indicators, in the medium category it can only meet 5 indicators, and in the low category only meet 4 indicators; (3) the characteristics of concrete random thinking with the ability to understand mathematical concepts in the high category can meet 6 indicators, in the medium category it can only meet 5 indicators, and in the low category it can only meet 3 indicators; (4) characteristics of abstract random thinking with high ability to understand mathematical concepts can meet 6 indicators, in the medium category it can only meet 4 indicators and in the low category only meet 3 indicators.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the effectiveness of the application of the CORE learning model with mathematical problem-solving skills. This research is quasi-experimental research using a control group pre-test and post-test design. The subjects of this research are students of grades VII A and VII B at SMP Negeri 13 Magelang. Problem-solving ability data were collected using tests and analyzed using a t-test for the first hypothesis and an N-gain test for the second hypothesis. The results of the study show (1) that there is a significant difference in problem-solving abilities in the application of the CORE learning model compared to the direct learning model, and (2) there is a significant increase in problem-solving abilities in the application of the CORE learning mode than the direct learning mode. It can be concluded that the CORE model is effective in increasing mathematical problem-solving abilities.
