Abstract

Nowadays, The Medan city has developed public street lighting along the protocol highways. The government has spent billions bugdet to readiness. The estimated electrical consumption for public street lighting will be 47.06 MW by 2025. Therefore, energy efficiency is required to complete the system of public street lighting. This research use LTE lamp to control electrical consumption for lamps. There are 4 main components, namely LTE Lamp Controller, which is including a LoRa component, light sensors BH1750, SIM card, and fuzzy logic program. Cloud server as a storage for measurement data. Monitoring devices as laptop or smartphone. GSM network as interface networking between LTE lamp controller and cloud server. The sunlight intensity affected to the dimming value of the lamp. It uses fuzzy logic to regulates the switching of lamps. LTE lamp controller supports the dimming mode such as 0-10V dimmer. This voltage directly correlates to the light output. At 10 Volt, the lamp should produce 100% light. At 0 Volt, 0% lighting output or off. Based on the result, The highest of sunlight intensity is 7796 lux generating the voltage of 1 Volt (lamp off). Abstract

Seiring dengan jumlah kendaraan yang semakin banyak, dan lahan parkir yang tersedia semakin terbatas. Maka perlu dilakukan membangun sistem perparkiran yang cerdas. Sistem ini untuk mempermudah pengendara dalam mencari lokasi parkir. Rancangan sistem ini terdiri dari ESP 32, ESP 8266, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), sensor inframerah, LCD I2C dan motor servo. Sistem ini menggunakan teknologi Internet of Things. Sistem ini nantinya akan ditempatkan pada portal pintu masuk dan keluar tempat parkir. Apabila kendaraan yang ingin masuk ke lahan parkir harus menggunakan kartu RFID untuk membuka palang pintu tersebut. Ketika kartu RFID sudah melakukan tapping maka sistem akan mengirim informasi ke database pada aplikasi telegram. Lahan parkir yang sudah terisi ataupun yang belum terisi kendaraan akan di tampilkan datanya di LCD I2C. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rancangan skematik rangkaian sistem smart parking yang efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest furniture exporter in the world. This business will continue to grow because Indonesia has abundant wood raw materials. These wood raw materials must be stored in a good wooden warehouse because the bad warehouse conditions will cause physical damage to the wood. This study designed a temperature and humidity monitoring system in a miniature wooden warehouse based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The test location was carried out at 5 locations. The length of test time i.e. 8 hours. Based on testing, data are displayed in app.microthings.id website for access location of Medan Selayang, the max. temperature was 26.4oC and the max. humidity was 68.8%. For access location of Medan Baru on Berdikari road, the max. temperature was 26.4oC and the max. humidity was 68.8%. For access location of Medan Johor, the max. temperature was 25.4oC and the max. humidity 68.1%. For access location of Medan Baru on Jamin Ginting Road, the max. temperature was 25.1oC and the max. humidity was 68.3%. For access location of Medan Baru on Universitas road, the max. temperature was 24.7oC and the max. humidity was 69%. These data are compared to data from A-TH3 sensor. Abstract

Pesantren adalah tempat dimana para santri belajar ilmu agama dan ilmu umum lainnya. Namun, pelajaran di luar pelajaran agama kurang diminati oleh para santri. Hal tersebut disebabkan salah satunya karena kurangnya fasilitas-fasilitas yang mendukung kegiatan sains. Padahal pendidikan sains ini sangat penting. Pendidikan sains bisa untuk pembinaan dan pembentukan nilai-nilai kepribadian santri berupa aspek kerjasama, saling menghargai, sikap sportifitas dan solidaritas, serta percaya diri. Untuk itu, pihak Pondok Pesantren Jabal Rahmah menyusun program unggulan yaitu tahfiz, bahasa, dan sains. Dengan fasilitas yang ada, pihak pesantren sudah mendukung kegiatan tahfiz dan bahasa dengan baik. Namun masih kurang dengan kegiatan sains. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan ini dapat membantu kegiatan sains yang ada di Pondok Pesantren  Jabal Rahmah agar pesantren bisa terlihat lebih modern dan terbuka terhadap perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

Monitoring the availability of parking lots in the campus area is very important. This is related to the solution of the problem of limited parking spaces for four-wheeled vehicles. Existing parking spaces can be optimized by adding a vehicle detection device. This vehicle detection device uses ultrasonic sensors and its programming is based on the ESP32 Microcontroller. Sensitivity parameters measured are object detection distance, influence of other frequencies, influence of passing objects and range areas horizontally and vertically. In the research, the measurement results obtained are object detection distance up to 350 cm, the influence of other frequencies does not exist, passing objects can be detected by vehicle detection devices, range areas vertically up to 250 cm and horizontally up to 150 cm. Based on the test results, the distance reading by the ultrasonic sensor on the vehicle detection device is accurate. This measurement is in accordance with the specifications of the GH-311 type ultrasonic sensor used in the device.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Medan (POLMED) was involved in the UI GreenMetric world rankings. The UI GreenMetric committee assessed green campus activities and environmental sustainability. The UI GreenMetric aims to raise awareness about sustainable campus greening, and social impacts of these endeavors. Based on the concept, an environmental detection system (EDS) was developed using internet of things (IoT) technology. The EDS can detect and monitor environmental parameters remotely such as carbon dioxide (CO2), noise levels, light intensity, air temperature, relative humidity, and dust particle density in real-time via the internet. Measurements of environmental parameters were conducted at one location in POLMED. The average CO2 level was 485 ppm. The average noise level was 53.40 dB. The average light intensity was 129 lux. The average air temperature was 26.60 °C. The average of relative humidity was 63.8% RH. The average of PM2.5 dust particle densities was 23 µg/m3. The average of PM10 dust particle densities was 29 µg/m3. Based on these results, the air quality has begun to be polluted because this value is already above the threshold clean quality air set by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (310–330 ppm).

Abstract

The issue of environmental damage due to the expansion of palm oil plantations in Indonesia has become a global issue. It has often hampered the development of the downstream palm oil industries in Indonesia. The European market was once closed to palm oil and derivative products from Indonesia. In fact, this industry has become a source of income and employment for millions of Indonesians. Therefore, palm oil industry must be supported with sustainable efforts. One of them is developing SADS (Soil and Air Detector System) model. Which is a tool for detecting soil and air environmental conditions around palm oil plantations. The parameters are soil PH, CO2 levels, temperature and humidity, and sunlight. The measurement results from this tool can be accessed and displayed in real-time via the internet. This is research aims to build a smart system as a solution to environmental problems around palm oil plantations. This is useful for knowing and observing the condition of palm oil plantations and as a basis for taking mitigation actions if the condition is in a critical state

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara pengekspor ikan dunia. Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Perikanan dan Kelautan mendukung pengembangan budidaya ikan yang mandiri, berdaya saing dan berkelanjutan. Tambak  rakyat paluh merbau  merupakan salah satu usaha tambak milik masyarakat  paluh merbau di Desa Tanjung Rejo. Tambak  ini  memiliki memiliki kincir sebagai pensuplai oksigen kedalam kolam. Fungsi kincir juga sebagai pembersih area permukaan air dan dasar air sehingga menciptakan arus air yang stabil. Untuk menggerakkan kincir digunakan listrik dari PLN. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh tambak ini adalah biaya pakan yang mahal dan biaya listrik yang juga mahal. Biaya pakan tidak bisa dikurangi karena terkait dengan produksi ikan. Namun biaya penggunaan token listrik dapat dihemat dengan penggunaan sumber listrik tenaga surya. Melalui kegiatan PKM ini akan dibangun instalasi panel surya dengan sistem hybrid sebagai sumber listrik untuk menggerakkan kincir di tambak. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan ini dapat menghemat penggunaan token listrik di tambak rakyat paluh merbau sehingga bisa mengurangi biaya produksi.

Abstract

Sekolah adalah tempat dimana seseorang belajar. Mata pelajaran di sekolah diajarkan oleh guru kepada murid-muridnya. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang diajarkan adalah pendidikan jasmani. Pendidikan jasmani ini sangat penting, karena ini mencakup aspek fisik, emosi, sosial dan moral. SMK T Amir Hamzah Indrapura merupakan sekolah mengajarkan pendidikan jasmani. Karena pendidikan jasmani ini penting, pihak sekolah telah menjalankan sistem pembelajaran di luar waktu mata pelajaran atau kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga. Akibat dari kebijakan ini, telah banyak prestasi olahraga yang telah dicapai oleh SMK T Amir Hamzah Indrapura terutama di cabang olahraga Hoki. Prestasi mereka telah mencapai regional dan nasional. Namun masih terdapat kendala yaitu belum lengkapnya fasilitas di lapangan latihan dan pembentukan karakter dan mental pemain belum ditangani secara maksimal. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan TCSC ini dapat membantu tim hoki SMK T Amir Hamzah Indrapura untuk bisa meningkatkan prestasi di level nasional dan pihak sekolah memiliki fasilitas latihan yang memadai berstandar nasional.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dalam sistem monitoring penggunaan energi listrik menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem monitoring dan pengendalian energi listrik berbasis IoT dengan mengintegrasikan mikrokontroler ESP32 dan sensor PZEM-004T. Sistem ini untuk monitoring konsumsi daya listrik secara real-time dan memberikan kontrol otomatis terhadap perangkat listrik melalui aplikasi Blynk. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan 2 pengujian yaitu pengukuran nilai tegangan via aplikasi Blynk dan pengukuran menggunakan multimeter digital. Pengujian kedua adalah pengukuran nilai daya berdasarkan aplikasi Blynk dan dibandingkan dengan nilai daya yang tertera dari peralatan listrik bola lampu dan kipas angin. Berdasarkan pengujian tegangan, terdapat perbedaan hasil pembacaan nilai tegangan, sehingga menghasilkan nilai error sebesar 0,018%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian daya, terdapat perbedaan hasil pembacaan daya, sehingga menghasilkan nilai efisiensi sebesar 65,8%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membangun sebuah aplikasi dengan pendekatan berbasis data yang akan mampu mengidentifikasi pola konsumsi energi listrik untuk mendeteksi potensi pemborosan, serta mengoptimalkan penggunaan daya listrik berdasarkan batasan yang telah ditentukan
