Abstract

Promosi merupakan salah satu cara untuk menyebarkan informasi, sehingga dapat membujuk/mempengaruhi audiens agar bersedia untuk loyal, menerima, atau membeli  terhadap suatu perusahaan atau produk. Salah satu bentuk media promosi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan prospek suatu objek adalah Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality dapat meningkatkan literasi sains dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Dengan melihat fenomena tersebut, penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan Augmented Reality di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau dan beberapa dari universitas lainnya sebagai ajang edukasi dan promosi. Desain penelitian pada penelitian pengembangan ialah dengan model ADDIE namun hanya dibatasi pada uji respon atau evaluasi penggunaan Augmented Reality. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 38 mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi. Adapun alat pengumpul data digunakan adalah kuesioner online yang terdiri dari empat konstruk dengan 18 pertanyaan terkait dengan evaluasi penggunaan Augmented Reality. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis melalui Aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa evaluasi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Augmented Reality di lima konstruk dengan rata-rata 2.61 yang berada pada kategori “baik”. Oleh sebab itu, mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan dalam pendidikan diharapkan mampu berpikir secara terbuka terhadap perubahan dan alternatif yang ditawarkan oleh teknologi meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response to the Islamic-Entrepreneurial Science and Technology (I-EnSciT) module for prospective science teachers in Indonesia and Malaysia. This research is an applied research type of evaluation with a cross-sectional method in the form of a reflection questionnaire which includes material aspects, Delivery, and Response Strategy to find out the response of prospective science teachers to the I-EnSciT Module training program. Data is obtained by conducting training activities within a certain period, then an assessment of the training program is carried out through a Google form questionnaire that is packaged to make it easier for participants to fill out a reflection questionnaire. This research was conducted with a total of 250 respondents, including 175 prospective teachers in Indonesia and 75 prospective teachers in Malaysia. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inference was carried out using SPSS V21. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the average recapitulation of reflection on material aspects, strategies, and responses obtained a value of 3.3 with the aspect category "Very Good". It can be said that the I-EnSciT Module Training has been achieved/fulfilled so that it can be integrated and implemented in educational institutions covering material, media, and social interaction. Research that has novelty, especially by combining entrepreneurship issues with science and religion. This can be a reference in fostering effective learning tools.

Abstract

AbstractThis study describes the initial ability of teachers in carrying out online learning activities. This research was conducted through survey research involving 154 elementary school teachers in Pelalawan and Rengat Regencies, Riau Provinces as the research samples were taken by purposive sampling. Research data were obtained through a survey using google forms and distributed via WhatsApp. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially using SPSS version 26. Based on the data analysis, it was identified that 97 teachers (63%) choose a combination learning model between offline and online as the most frequently learning model used during the covid-19 pandemic. In carrying out the learning process, 93 teachers (60.4%) chose schools as teaching locations. Regarding the quality of the internet in schools, 110 teachers (71.4%) assessed that the quality of the internet in schools was good and could support learning activities. Furthermore, teachers also apply various ways of teaching online learning, for example, 50 teachers (32.5%) choose to provide interactive material through online media and 45 teachers (29.2%) ask students to learn to use textbooks and give assignments to students in the form of assignments on worksheets, projects, books, etc. The main obstacle for teachers during online learning is that they find it difficult to observe student progress and have difficulty communicating with parents. The efforts made by teachers to adapt online learning is by providing materials/tasks and establishing basic competencies according to student needs.Keywords: teacher ability, online learning, covid-19 pandemic. AbstrakPenelitian ini mendeskripsikan kemampuan awal guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui penelitian survei yang melibatkan 154 guru SD di Kabupaten Pelalawan dan Rengat, Provinsi Riau sebagai sampel penelitian yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui survei menggunakan google form dan disebarluaskan melalui WhatsApp. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui bahwa 97 guru (63%) memilih model pembelajaran kombinasi antara offline dan online sebagai model pembelajaran yang paling sering digunakan selama masa pandemi covid-19. Dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, 93 guru (60,4%) memilih sekolah sebagai lokasi mengajar. Terkait dengan kualitas internet yang ada di sekolah, 110 guru (71,4%) menilai bahwa kualitas internet yang ada di sekolah sudah baik dan dapat mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, guru juga menerapkan berbagai cara dalam mengajar pembelajaran online, misalnya 50 guru (32,5%) memilih memberikan materi interaktif melalui media online dan 45 guru (29,2%) meminta siswa belajar menggunakan buku teks dan memberikan tugas kepada siswa berupa tugas pada LKS, proyek, buku, dan lain-lain. Kendala utama guru selama pembelajaran online adalah mereka menemukan kesulitan dalam mengamati perkembangan siswa dan kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang tua. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan guru untuk menyesuaikan pembelajaran online adalah dengan menyediakan materi/tugas dan menetapkan kompetensi dasar sesuai kebutuhan siswa.Kata kunci: kemampuan guru, pembelajaran online, pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

Digital literacy is a skill to understand and utilize information from various digital sources. Digital literacy skill is useful for dealing with information explosions. In fact, internet users nowadays keep increasing. The problem is that technological advances lead to excessive use of information technology, leading to undesirable cases. Therefore, this study aimed to map digital literacy of tutors at Universitas Terbuka. This research used a quantitative approach with a case study method. Informants used as research samples were 127 tutors from Universitas Terbuka. Data on digital literacy skills of tutors were collected through online questionnaires using Google Form, then analyzed descriptively and inferentially using SPSS Program version 23.00 for Windows. Results showed that instrument used was a digital literacy ability questionnaire consisting of eight constructs with an average Croanbach’s alpha value of 0.859 with high criteria. Importantly, results also showed that there was a significant relationship between basic, scientific, economic, information, technological, visual, multicultural, and global awareness. Based on value of correlation coefficient, economic ability, visual intelligence, and technological intelligence had the highest values (0.613, 0.554 and 0.513), showing that the three constructs were better constructs in increasing digital literacy of tutors. In other words, these results provide empirical evidence that tutors' digital literacy is not only influenced by the technical ability to use digital devices, but also by the ability to understand aspects of the digital economy, information visualization, and the application of technology in the context of learning. This certainly has an impact on the quality of teaching and the readiness of tutors in facing educational transformation in the digital era.
