Abstract

Technology in the milenial era is developing so rapidly and has an impact on the world of education. The world of education is required to harmonize learning methods and media used with technological development. The lack of direct practicum activities in several schools has resulted in students' understanding of the material presented not as expected. Physics REACT module assisted by PhET simulations on harmonic vibration material can be a solution for delivering harmonious vibration material with practically practicum activities. This study aims to determine the validity of the modules that have been developed and the effectiveness of the modules. This research includes development research using the Nieveen development design. This module is equipped with explanations in accordance with the REACT approach and practicum activities using PhET. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 3 at SMAN Bandarkedungmulyo Jombang. The results of expert validation were 94.4% with the very feasible / valid category, while the results of user validation were 96.09% with the very feasible / valid category. Student physics learning outcomes have increased, this can be seen from the acquisition of N-Gain in the limited test of 0.6 in the medium category and in the field test of 0.7 in the high category. Not only N-Gain method, you can also use the t-test. It can be concluded that the REACT physics module assisted by PhET simulations on harmonic vibration material is very feasible and effective to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstraction is the primary key in computational thinking. This study aims to analyze students’ computational thinking skills of abstraction on the concept of kinematics. The data were collected through students’ project documents and interviews. The data is examined using a content analysis approach that emphasizes writing, verbal, or visual communication. The results revealed that students’ abstraction skills were evident in collecting data and analyzing, and recognizing patterns but were less visible in building models or simulations. Abstraction skills can be used as a foundation and framework for viewing a concept in physics not only in mathematics or formulas views but as a data iterative relationship. This research is expected to provide an overview for physics instructors to integrate computational thinking in their learning classroom

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based Al-Qur'an integrated physics learning media to improve preservice physics teachers' higher-order thinking skills and spiritual attitudes. The development of learning media uses the ADDIE model. Media and material experts assessed the feasibility of learning media through a validation questionnaire. The trial was carried out on 40 preservice physics teacher students. The validation results were analyzed using a descriptive technique. The analysis results show that the learning media developed is suitable for improving Higher Order Thinking Skills and the Spiritual Attitude of Preservice Physics Teachers. So, the Android-based physics learning media integrated with the Quran can be implemented for preservice physics teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the HOTS assessment instrument, the reliability of the HOTS assessment instrument from the test instrument. The test was carried out in class XII MIPA 7 and XII MIPA 8 at SMA Negeri 2 Jember in the even semester. The instrument used in this research is in the form of 20 essay questions on the kinetic theory of gases. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach through ADDIE modeling. The results showed that the average value of the level of validity was 91.11% and the value of the degree of reliability coefficient r11 was 0.9156. The results showed that the results of the analysis of the level of difficulty of the items contained 14 items that were feasible or acceptable and 6 items that were not feasible because they had a level of difficulty that was not in accordance with the criteria for the level of difficulty of the items that were good and the results of the analysis of the distinguishing power of the items, where The results of the analysis show that there are 12 items that are suitable for use with some improvement of questions and 8 items that are not suitable to be used because they have distinguishing power in the bad category or do not match the criteria for good discriminating power. The results showed that students' critical thinking skills in solving physics problems on gas kinetic theory material as measured using the higher order thinking skill (HOTS) test instrument could be categorized as moderate.

Abstract

The use of instructional media is very necessary in learning physics, because many abstract phenomena and natural phenomena are difficult to understand both by students without the right means. Sound wave material which is dominated by theories and concepts requires a learning media that packs concepts to be effective and improves students' problem solving abilities. Problem solving ability is one of the goals of forming 21st century skills. The times have also brought progress in education, including interactive multimedia-based learning media such as web-based learning media such as Google sites. This study aims to determine the application of learning media based on google sites web-based learning media, the subject of sound waves to improve students' ability to solve physics problems. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with the research design of MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle). The research subjects were 31 students at XI MIPA 1 MAN 1 Situbondo. Web-based learning media google sites is declared effective in improving students' problem-solving skills if they meet the criteria for the average level of effectiveness of the n-gain score. The n-gain data was obtained through the students' pretest and posttest scores, and the average pre-test score was 59.35 and the post-test average score was 76.74. While the average percentage of N-gain is 44.03% which states the medium category, meaning that the developed web learning media can improve the problem solving ability of physics students. The student response questionnaire after using the media is in the very good category, with the average percentage of student responses to the learning media that has been given which is 82%. The results of these data indicate that the learning media has an attractive design for students and easy operation. So it can be concluded that the google sites web-based learning media with the subject of sound waves meets the criteria of a good learning media and is able to improve students' problem solving skills at MAN 1 Situbondo

Abstract

ABSTRAKTeknologi informasi yang semakin canggih berpengaruh pada dunia pendidikan dan pembelajaran di Indonesia. Perkembangan alat komunikasi yang banyak digunakan adalah smartphone. Media pembelajaran berbasis android merupakan salah satu jenis media pembelajaran yang kompatibel dengan smartohone yang dapat digunakan oleh guru. Untuk memudahkan siswa memahami materi yang dapat digunakan kapan saja dan dari mana saja, media pembekajaran berbasis android dapat dikemas secanggih mungkin. Dalam merancang media pembelajaran berbasis android harus mampunyai dasar- dasar programing (coding). Namun saat ini banyak sekali website yang menawarkan software untuk membuat media pembelajaran berbasis android tanpa coding, salah satunya appy pie. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan appy pie pokok bahasan gerak lurus siswa kelas XI SMA, dan respon siswa dan guru terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis android. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode  MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) untuk merancang media pembelajaran. Hasil rancangan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk apk (aplikasi). Hasil penelitian respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis android materi gerak lurus mendapatkan presentase rata- rata 81,5% dalam kategori sangat baik, dan hasil respon guru terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis android mendapatkan presentase 86% dalam kategori sangat baik.  Kata kunci: media pembelajaran; android; MDLC; gerak lurus. ABSTRACTIncreasingly sophisticated information technology affects the world of education and learning in Indonesia. The development of communication tools that are widely used is smartphones. Android-based learning media is one type of learning media that is compatible with smartphones that can be used by teachers. To make it easier for students to understand material that can be used anytime and from anywhere, android-based learning media can be packaged as sophisticated as possible. In designing android-based learning media must have the basics of programming (coding). However, currently there are many websites that offer software to create android-based learning media without coding, one of which is appy pie. The purpose of this study was to design android-based learning media using appy pie on the subject of straight motion for class XI high school students, and student and teacher responses to android-based learning media. This research uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method to design learning media. The results of the learning media design in the form of apk (application). The results of student response research on android-based learning media for straight motion material get an average percentage of 81.5% in the very good category, and the results of the teacher's response to the use of android-based learning media get a percentage of 86% in the very good category. Keywords: learning media; android; MDLC; straight motion

Abstract

Media pembelajaran alat untuk menyebarkan informasi kepada siswa dalam bentuk materi. Guru harus pandai penggunaan Microsoft Powerpoint dalam dunia pendidikan merupakan salah satu penyempurnaan yang dilakukan terhadap sarana pembelajaran. Semua komponen media, termasuk teks, gambar, suara, video, dan animasi, dapat digabungkan dengan bantuan Microsoft Power Point. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran tentang pembuatan bahan ajar Microsoft Power Point interaktif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan langkah-langkah model Borg dan Gall. Kembangkan produk baru, uji produk baru, dan analisisnya semuanya disertakan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa skor validitas yang diperoleh adalah 3,625 (Va), rata-rata skor validasi media mencapai 82,50%, sedangkan validasi materi mencapai 79,16%. respons siswa terhadap bahan ajar interaktif juga menunjukkan hasil positif dengan skor 81,75% pada uji coba skala kecil dan skor 85% pada uji coba skala luas. Respons guru terhadap media tersebut juga cukup positif, dengan skor 71,7% dan 89,13% secara berturut-turut. Dapat disimpulkan media pembelajran dikatakan valid, berdasarkan temuan evaluasi validasi dan uji coba.

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran bertujuan untuk mendekatkan peserta didik pada pengalaman yang lebih konkret sehingga pesan dan tujuan yang akan disampaikan benar-benar tercapai. Menggunakan macromedia flast ini juga dapat memudahkan pelajar untuk memahami materi yang ditampilkan secara singkat dan jelas. Jadi Macromedia flash salah satu multimedia yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat vidio, animasi, gambar, dan suara dengan cara yang mudah dan efektif. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan LKS berbasis macromedia flash. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Quasi-experimental. Hasil dari penelitian berupa nilai pretes dan postes lalu dilakukan uji normalitas data. Dapat disimpulkan dari hasil data yang diperoleh membuktikan bahwa media yang digunakan sudah efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contextual-based instrument of the game assisted by the kahoot quiz to measure students' critical thinking skills. The design in this study is Research and Development with a limited trial on 10 students of class X-Mipa 2 and a broad trial on 30 students of class X-Mipa 5. The data taken in this study are content validation by experts, validity, reliability , level of difficulty, and differentiating power, questionnaires on student responses to the instrument, and tests of critical thinking skills. The results showed that the percentage of appropriateness according to material experts was 93.33% and media experts was 81.05% with very feasible criteria. Student responses to the assessment instrument received a positive response from all students. Critical thinking ability as measured by the instrument got an average score of 64 with good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that the contextual-based instrument assisted by the Kahoot quiz is used to measure students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the generative learning model with simple experimental media on critical thinking and student learning outcomes. This research uses true experimental research with post test only control design. Determination of the research sample is done by cluster random sampling. The data collection instrument used was a multiple choice test and a description. Based on the results of critical thinking data analysis using the Independent T-test, Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.001 where 0.001 is less than 0.05, indicating that the difference in the average critical thinking value of the experimental class students is greater than the control class. Meanwhile, for learning outcomes using the Mann-Whitney test, a value of 0.006 was obtained, where the value was less than 0.05, meaning that the difference in the average value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class was greater than the control class. Significantly the difference between the two shows that the generative learning model with simple experimental media has an effect on critical thinking and student learning outcomes of physics.
