Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the value chain mapping, governance, improvement of value chain and marketing margins cassava in Pati regency. The basic method used  descriptive analytical research. The method of determining the location of the research method and the purposive sampling method is done by snowball sampling with 18 respondents. The results showed there are three models of the value chain by five actors, namely farmers, penebas, grinders, realtor, and collectors flour. Value-added activities conducted on cassava farmers, grinders and collectors. While penebas and brokers act as a liaison between value chain actors. Governance cassava value chain is analyzed through three approaches namely coordination structures, rules and regulations, and provider of information and services. The increase in the value chain are identified in several aspects of increase of processes, products, and functions. Enhanced functions effectively needs to be done because it will produce a positive impact on the actors of the value chain. Grinder has a marketing margin of RP 3300 / kg, meaning that most large margin than other players because it has many activities ranging from wet to cassava starch that have added value. While the perpetrators of broker only has a margin of RP 20 / kg for his activities only as an intermediary without any added value from the starch itself.

Abstract

This research aims to know the implementation of the ongoing partnerships in PT Malindo Feedmill branch Yogyakarta, knowing the influence of variable quality of products, service quality, breeder expectation, and corporate image towards the breeders satisfaction, as well as knowing the influence breeders satisfaction towards breeder loyalty. This research uses the basic method of descriptive analytic. This research was carried out at PT. Malindo Feedmill branch Yogyakarta. The method of determining the location of the research done by the purposive method and method of determination of samples is carried out by the census method by the number of samples of 75 respondents. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, and questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis of the data used in this research is a method of Structural Equation Models (SEM) with an alternative method of Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that: (1) Partnership patterns in PT Malindo Feedmill. is a core-plasma pattern with a strategy of 'win-win solution', there is a cooperation agreement between the breeders and the company. (2) The product quality does not affect toward breeders satisfaction. (3) The service quality, the breeders expectation and corporate image has a positive influence toward breeders satisfaction. (4) The breeders satisfaction has a positive influence toward breeders loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to map the agro-rural instant herbal medicine in Karanganyar District, identifying rank (potential) of rural agro instant herbal medicine in the District of Karanganyar, formulating development strategies agroindusti rural development strategy and identify herbal instant maps of rural agro-industry business chain instant herbal medicine in the District of Karanganyar. The research method using descriptive analytical method, the technique of collecting data using surveys and focus group techniques. Analysis tools used include: Comparative Exponential Method, Borda method, SWOT and Value Chain. The results showed that the agro-instant herbal medicine spread in Jatipuro, Jenawi, Jumantono, Karanganyar, Kerjo, Mojogedang and Tawangmangu sub district. Instant herbal medicine al agroindustry is ranked second seed. Instant herbal medicine development strategy include: Increasing the ability of producers in diversifying the instant herbal products at affordable prices the market, increase market access for instant herbal product diversification, increase access to capital through access to financing institutions, development of product diversification while maintaining product quality, increase the ability of producers in access to quality raw materials at affordable prices, increase product quality with local raw materials, especially in terms of capital Strengthening of procurement of raw materials, and development of business partnerships in terms of procurement of raw materials. Business actors in the agroindustry are instant herbal-medicinal and medicinal farmers market vendors as suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers and marketers are as pengolahnya herbal merchants.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a major impact on various sectors of life, including Small and Mid-size Enterprises (SMEs). The government makes various policies, one of which is the implementation of the New Normal. SMEs must adapt to New Normal conditions. SMEs Werkudoro is one of the SMEs in the Sukoharjo Regency. To face this New Normal condition, SMEs Werkudoro has several problems. The problem is that the packaging label is not marketable, product packaging is not marketable, wrap the packaging with stapler and SMEs are less developed. The method used are socialization, introduction, training and accompaniment. Community service activities are improvement marketable packaging labels, introducing marketable packaging with standing pouches, introducing of plastic sealers, repairing of product banner and business innovation training. Community service activities give knowledge for SMEs and benefits for adaptation in the New Normal condition, so they can survive and can develop.

Abstract

Eksploitasi lahan gambut untuk kegiatan perekonomian membuat lahan gambut Desa Merbau mengalami degradasi, sehingga diadakan program revitalisasi sumber mata pencaharian yang fokus pada pengembangan usaha berbasis komoditas pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap kelayakan yang dirasakan serta pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif, sifat personal, pengalaman, kelayakan yang dirasakan dan efikasi diri terhadap niat berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Penelitian ini menggunakan 70 responden yang dipilih secara acak dan tersebar di 3 dusun di Desa Merbau. Analisis data menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square dan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa variabel efikasi diri berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kelayakan yang dirasakan. Variabel sikap, norma subjektif, sifat personal dan kelayakan yang dirasakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian. Pengalaman dan efikasi diri tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian. Masyarakat Desa Merbau hendaknya memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian karena berpengaruh pada keputusan untuk berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian yang diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber mata pencaharian alternatif sehingga menyelamatkan lahan gambut dari degradasi akibat eksploitasi yang berlebihan dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Desa Merbau.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik pimpinan terhadap orientasi pasar dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh orientasi pasar, inovasi produk dan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja pemasaran pada usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) pangan olahan di Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan Teknik survei. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Penelitian ini menggunakan 50 responden yang merupakan pemilik UMKM pangan olahan. Analisis menggunkan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS) dan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pimpinan mempengaruhi orientasi pasar secara positif. Orientasi pasar dan inovasi produk masing-masing berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pemasaran, sedangkan orientasi kewirausahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Oleh karena itu, para pelaku UMKM pangan olahan diharapkan lebih memperhatikan perubahan selera konsumen dan menjawab perubahan tersebut melalui perbaikan kualitas dan pelayanan guna mempertahankan minat beli konsumen dengan harapan mampu meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh word of mouth, kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, persepsi kualitas dan loyalitas merek terhadap keputusan pembelian gethuk studi kasus Gethuk Semar. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan survei. Metode penentuan lokasi dalam penelitian ini secara purposive. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan jenis quota sampling. Sampel berjumlah 100 responden. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online dengan google forms dan offline di rumah produksi Gethuk Semar. Pengujian instrumen dan analisis data menggunakan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel word of mouth dan kesadaran merek tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian gethuk studi kasus Gethuk Semar. Variabel asosiasi merek, dan loyalitas merek berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian gethuk studi kasus Gethuk Semar. Variabel persepsi kualitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap keputusan pembelian gethuk studi kasus Gethuk Semar.

Abstract

Kopi memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi sebagai penghasil devisa dan sumber pendapatan petani karena kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan di Indonesia. Kabupaten Temanggung salah satu penghasil kopi di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, terutama pada Kopi Robusta. Kopi Robusta Temanggung memiliki karakteristik dan mutu produk yang khas, unik dan tampil beda yang terindikasi karena faktor geografis. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya asosiasi petani yang tergabung pada Masyarakat Perlindungan Indikasi Geografis Kopi Robusta Temanggung (MPIG-KRT). MPIG-KRT berkomitmen dalam mengawal mutu kopi sesuai standar. Upaya ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan daya saing petani kopi di Kabupaten Temanggung dengan upaya didorong untuk menjalankan budidaya dan pengolahan pasca panen kopi berbasis Indikasi Geografis (IG) Kopi Robusta Temanggung (KRT). Guna menjaga mutu kopi, meningkatkan daya saing, dan memperkuat Brand Image Kopi Robusta Temanggung, maka dilakukan program pengabdian terutama bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan petani kopi agar dapat 1) menjalankan pengolahan pasca panen berbasis IG dengan introduksi mesin grading, 2) dapat menjalankan digital marketing dengan tujuan memperluas pangsa pasar sehingga mampu meningkatkan hasil penjualan dan keuntungan, dan 3) memiliki pengetahuan tentang merek dan label merek guna membangun brand Kopi Robusta Temanggung. Program pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pelatihan yang terdiri dari pelatihan pascapanen, pelatihan digital marketing, dan pelatihan edukasi merek dan desain label merek. Selain itu, dilakukan pula introduksi mesin grading setelah dilakukan pelatihan pascapanen. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil dilakukan dilihat adanya introduksi Mesin Grading sehingga petani mitra dapat melakukan proses grading dengan cepat dan bisa menentukan mutu dari grade kopi 1, 2, dan 3. Petani mitra telah memahami pentingnya merek dan desain label yang dapat dilihat dari adanya kemasan produk kopi yang sudah memiliki merek, informasi produk, dan kemasan yang baik untuk menjaga mutu kopi. Petani mitra sudah mulai menggunakan WhatsApps bisnis, Instagram, dan Facebook untuk promosi. Petani mitra juga sudah bisa membuat promosi dengan menggunakan Canva, lalu membuat link pesan Auto Order.

Abstract

The cassava agroindustry is an essential part of the food sub-sector, and as it provides economic benefits for business actors from upstream to downstream. The development of the industry has been focused on aspects of cultivation, whereas the aspects of processing, marketing, management, and business innovation also need support. This study aims to formulate strategic orientations of SMEs in developing cassava-based agroindustry. This exploratory study was conducted on SMEs in the agroindustry with products made from cassava. A total of 115 SMEs in Central Java Province were taken as samples using stratified random sampling. Factor analysis was performed with the Principle Component Analysis (PCA). The strategic orientations covered product focus and short-term orientation to survive; market knowledge and flexibility; long-term orientation for market penetration or development; product development innovation to create differentiation; and reactive strategy orientation for stability. These five aspects should be considered to win the competition, build a competitive advantage, and face changes in the business environment. However, implementing them required the commitment of cassava-based SMEs, government support, and the development of collaboration with larger industries. Thus, the strategic orientations could be applied as a regional policy to improve the business performance in the cassava agroindustry in Central Java.
