Abstract

Employment is a fundamental thing in human life because it includes social and economic dimensions. Providing sufficient job opportunities is one of the important goals in economic development in order to catch up with the labor force, because the growth of the labor force is faster than the growth of employment opportunities. The problem of job opportunities is an important thing in the macro economy and labor is one of the factors of production besides technology and capital. Efforts to encourage increased productivity of human labor are through education and health. This study aims to determine how much influence the level of education and health has on labor productivity. This research is a quantitative study using secondary data in the form of panel data, the data obtained from BPS Aceh. The method used is a less square panel with a random effect model. The results of this study indicate that the education level variable has a positive and significant effect on labor productivity in Aceh Province in 2010-2020, while health has a negative and insignificant effect on labor productivity in Aceh Province in 2010-2020. Simultaneously the level of education and health does not have a significant effect on labor productivity.

Abstract

Changes in consumer lifestyles certainly have a big influence on the growth of online business in Indonesia, this development is the initial sequence for the growth of goods delivery services. One shipping expedition service company that is experiencing development is the J&T Express company. J&T Express helped establish its company in Banda Aceh, to face competition and maintain its credibility the company needs to optimize the implementation of marketing strategies including: brand image, service quality and price. The formulation of the problem and research objectives are to see how brand image, service quality, and price influence consumer decisions in using J&T Express services in Banda Aceh City partially and simultaneously. This research is a quantitative study, using primary data by distributing questionnaires to 153 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that partially and simultaneously brand image, service quality, and price have a significant effect on the decision to use J&T Express services in Banda Aceh City

Abstract

Students often follow trends to gain recognition in their social environment, development of technology and social media has made access to consumption trends easier. This can encourage consumptive behavior, which becomes problematic if done excessively without considering needs and financial capability. This study analyzes the influence of social media, lifestyle, and environment on the consumptive behavior of students in Syiah Kuala District using a quantitative approach with 100 respondents. The results show that social media has no significant effect, while lifestyle and environment do have an effect. Simultaneously, the three variables influence consumptive behavior with a contribution of 55.3%, while the remaining 44.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
