Abstract

Introduction: Agriculture is the main source of livelihood for the people in Kedungrejo Village. Cadmium (Cd) are metals that have a high level of toxicity even in small concentrations. The research site is in the rice fields of Kedungrejo Village, Megaluh District, Jombang Regency with a research time of 2 month. Method :The type of research used is experimental test. The number of samples used is 15 farmers. Objective: The purpose of study was to determine the levels of cadmium (Cd) and the relationship between cadmium in urine and the working period of farmers. This study used the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) method. Results: The results of this study indicate that the levels of cadmium (Cd) in the urine of farmers are still below the threshold. The correlations test used is the Spearman correlation, the coefficient value between cadmium metal (Cd) and working period is 0.884 with a sig value. 0.000, Conclusion: so that it can be stated that there is a very strong relationship between cadmium (Cd) heavy metals in farmers urine based on working period.

Abstract

The existence of hot mud Lapindo has an impact on threatened ecosystems, economic downturn, and the destruction of educational facilities and transportation. In addition, according to a study in 2013 found that the information content of metals in samples Lumpur Lapindo that harmful to the body if consumed. This research done to determine whether the content of the Lapindo mud is impacting on element content of groundwater in the affected areas, especially at Glagah arum and Gedang are located in the district Porong. The test used X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry to determine the elements on ground water sources, as well as pH testing and Total Dissolve Solid (TDS) as data pendukung of XRF result and to obtain another character of ground water. The method used in the sampling is random sampling method as much as four samples, two samples in the village of Glagah Arum (1A and 1B), and 2 samples in the village of Gedang (2A and 2B). Based on the XRF results obtained that the content of metallic elements found only in one sample were at Gedang area is Pb 25.08 m/m%, U 16.08 m/m%, Px 8.04 m/m%, Nb 7.60 m/m%, dan In 7.47 m/m% . Then result of the fourth pH samples are 8:31, 8:23, 6.99, and 8:45. While the results of TDS are 0.88 mg / L, 0:18, 0:52 mg / L, and 0.83 mg/L by gravimetric method. Overall results of the testing parameters of four samples showed that samples taken in the village Glagah Arum and Gedang did not indicate any danger if used in everyday use but not for consumption so it is not necessary to follow-up such as socialization.

Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan merupakan salah satu bidang yang terus berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi. Salah satu aspek yang menjadi fokus dalam perkembangan ini adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam konteks ini, aplikasi Canva telah menjadi salah satu alat yang populer digunakan oleh para pendidik untuk menciptakan materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini terdapat tiga tahap yang akan ditempuh, (1) Tahap Persiapan: Tahap persiapan dimulai dari cek profil mitra pengabdian untuk memastikan kebutuhan yang sesuai. Selanjutnya, membuat bahan materi pelatihan. (2) Tahap Pelaksanaan: Pemaparan materi yang disampaikan oleh narasumber meliputi gambaran umum aplikasi Canva, pembuatan akun, manfaat penggunaannya, dan tutorial pembuatan video pembelajaran. (3) Tahap Evaluasi: pada tahap akhir untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh pemahaman guru mengenai materi yang sudah disampaikan serta dipraktikkan. Pelatihan ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan modern, dengan Canva memberikan cara mudah bagi guru untuk membuat materi pembelajaran yang visual dan menarik. Platform ini menawarkan banyak templat dan elemen desain yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan guru, sehingga mendorong kreativitas dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi dan mendorong kreativitas, pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Pelatihan media pembelajaran berbasis digital seperti membuat media  pembelajaran menggunakan Canva  sangat bermanfaat bagi  guru  SDN Sekarjoho 1 khususnya dalam membuat  media pembelajaran multimedia  yang interaktif dan menarik. Di era globalisasi  saat ini, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan juga sejalan dengan  kebutuhan guru untuk lebih meningkatkan kompetensinya baik hard skill  maupun soft skill sebagai guru profesional. Kata Kunci : canva; desain; pembelajaran digital; guru sekolah dasar AbstractEducation is a field that continues to develop along with technological developments. One aspect that is focused on in this development is the use of digital learning media in the learning process. In this context, the Canva application has become a popular tool used by educators to create interesting and interactive learning materials. In implementing this training activity, there are three stages that will be taken, (1) Preparation Stage: The preparation stage starts with checking the profile of the service partner to ensure appropriate needs. Next, create training materials. (2) Implementation Stage: Presentation of material presented by the resource person includes an overview of the Canva application, creating an account, the benefits of using it, and tutorials for making learning videos. (3) Evaluation Stage: At the final stage to find out how far the teacher understands the material that has been delivered and practiced. This training emphasizes the importance of technology integration in modern education, with Canva providing an easy way for teachers to create visual and engaging learning materials. The platform offers many templates and design elements that can be adapted to teachers' needs, encouraging creativity in the learning process. By integrating technology and encouraging creativity, this training aims to increase student engagement and understanding. Digital-based learning media training, such as creating learning media using Canva, is very useful for Sekarjoho 1 Elementary School teachers, especially in creating interactive and interesting multimedia learning media. In the current era of globalization, the use of technology in the world of education is also in line with the need for teachers to further improve their competence, both hard skills and soft skills, as professional teachers. Keywords : canva; design; digital learning; elementary teacher

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Society 5.0 demands students to possess strong problem-solving skills, encompassing systematic thinking, data analysis, and decision-making. However, preliminary studies reveal that students’ problem-solving abilities are generally low, necessitating innovative educational tools. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an e-module based on Toulmin's Argumentation Model to enhance problem-solving skills among science students. Using a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design, the research involved 60 students from three science classes. The e-module was validated by experts in content, educational innovation, and technology, achieving an average validation score of 87.5%. The module was implemented across all classes, and significant improvements in problem-solving skills were observed, with an overall N-Gain score of 0.46, categorized as medium. These results indicate that the e-module is a valid, practical, and effective learning resource for improving problem-solving skills in science education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana media pendingin pasca pengelasan MAG mempengaruhi kekerasan dan struktur mikro baja SPHC (Plate Steel Hot Rolled Coiled). Pengelasan dilakukan menggunakan metode Metal Active Gas (MAG) dengan media pendingin air, oli, dan udara. Untuk menguji kekerasan, metode Rockwell skala B (HRB) digunakan. Di sisi lain, mikrostruktur diamati pada daerah weld metal, zona panas yang terpengaruh (HAZ), dan base metal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, jika dibandingkan dengan media pendingin oli dan udara, media pendingin air menghasilkan kekerasan tertinggi. Kekerasan diperoleh pada weld metal sebesar 74,99 HRB, area HAZ sebesar 90,12 HRB, dan base metal sebesar 81,39 HRB. Pengamatan mikrostruktur menunjukkan fraksi perlit tertinggi pada media pendingin air, sebesar 75% pada area HAZ dan 69% pada base metal, sementara fraksi ferit turun. Secara keseluruhan, perubahan sifat mekanik dan struktur mikro baja SPHC sangat dipengaruhi oleh variasi media pendingin dan lokasi daerah pengelasan.

Abstract

Kampas rem non-asbes diperlukan sebagai alternatif yang aman dan ramah lingkungan untuk menggantikan kampas rem berbahan asbes. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh variasi komposisi serbuk kulit jagung, serbuk kuningan, dan serbuk aluminium terhadap kekerasan dan ketangguhan komposit kampas rem. Tiga variasi komposisi disiapkan dengan perubahan fraksi serat kulit jagung sebesar 50%, 40%, dan 30%, sementara fraksi logam ditingkatkan secara proporsional. Pengujian meliputi uji kekerasan Shore D dan uji impak Charpy. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kandungan logam meningkatkan kekerasan komposit dari 62 menjadi 78 Shore D, sedangkan penurunan kandungan kulit jagung menurunkan energi impak dari 12,57 J menjadi 6,98 J. Komposisi 50% kulit jagung, 25% kuningan, dan 25% aluminium memberikan keseimbangan paling optimal antara kekerasan dan ketangguhan. Komposit ini dinilai potensial sebagai material kampas rem non-asbes yang aman dan memiliki performa mekanik memadai.

Abstract

Gracilaria verrucosa adalah salah satu jenis rumput laut yang banyak digunakan dalam industri pangan, berkat kandungan gizinya yang kaya dan manfaat kesehatan yang signifikan. Rumput laut ini bisa digunakan dalam pembuatan produk makanan ringan, seperti nori dari rumput laut yang diperkaya dengan ekstrak rumput laut untuk menambah kandungan serat dan mineral. Proses pembuatan melibatkan pengeringan, pemotongan, dan penambahan bahan-bahan lain seperti rempah atau rasa. Nori sebagai camilan ringan sangat cocok untuk konsumen yang mencari alternatif makanan ringan sehat. Mengingat konsumsi makanan ringan sering kali dikaitkan dengan produk tinggi kalori dan rendah gizi. Nori dari rumput laut Gracilaria verrucosa memberikan pilihan yang lebih bergizi, rendah kalori, dan lebih ramah bagi mereka yang menjalani pola makan sehat. Proses pembuatan nori dari rumput laut ini relatif sederhana. Rumput laut dipanen, dicuci, dikeringkan, dan kemudian diproses menjadi lembaran tipis yang siap digunakan sebagai nori.

Abstract

The problem of waste, particularly textile waste, continues to increase in line with the growing trend of fast fashion and the lack of effective household waste management. Larangan Village, located in Candi Subdistrict, Sidoarjo, has great potential to develop a community-based waste management system through the active role of the PKK Larangan Mega Asri Women’s Group. This community service program aims to improve literacy, skills, and management of textile waste processing integrated with Internet of Things (IOT)-based technology. The implementation methods include socialization, skills training, technical assistance, monitoring, and evaluation of partner competency improvement. Based on the results of questionnaires completed by training participants, the textile waste processing training activities had a positive impact on improving participants’ knowledge, skills, and motivation. Each indicator aspect showed satisfactory results: knowledge (average score 4.60), skills (4.36), attitude, motivation, and sustainability (4.67), as well as program relevance and usefulness (4.70) on a five-point scale, with an overall average score of 4.56 or 91.20%. In addition, the application of technology through the “KLAMBIKU” IOT-based donation box innovation has strengthened the textile waste management system to become more efficient, integrated, and user-friendly. This technology enables real-time monitoring of box conditions, digital storage of donation data, and the provision of information on nearby donation locations to the community. Overall, this program demonstrates that the combination of skill-based education and the application of appropriate technology can serve as an innovative solution for community-based textile waste management.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 memberi dampak luas pada semua sektor, termasuk dalam sektor pendidikan. Hampir seluruh pembelajaran mulai tingkat dasar hingga perguruan tinggi (universitas) yang semula tatap muka berubah menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) atau daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas pembelajaran daring terutama pada mata kuliah eksak. Sebagai contoh pada pembelajaran Fisika Dasar yang memiliki aspek praktikum, terdapat beberapa permasalahan selama pandemi yakni, 1) keterbatasan pelaksanaan praktikum Fisika Dasar secara tatap muka dimasa pandemi, 2) keterbatasan dan ketidaksesuaian modul konvensional yang dipakai dalam pelaksanaan praktikum pada pendidikan jarak jauh, dan 3) pemanfaatan Content Management System (CMS) dalam e-lerning yang belum maksimal menjadi kendala yang memerlukan penanganan segera. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mencoba mengembangkan e-Modul Praktikum mengunakan metode penelitian Research & Development dengan model pengembangan Rowntree yang dikolaborasikan dengan model evaluasi Tessmer. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi positif mahasiswa dalam melakukan praktikum mandiri dengan bantuan e-modul. Pengembangan E-modul yang dihasilkan dapat dikatakan telah memenuhi kriteria praktis, ditunjukkan dari rekapitulasi hasil persentase penilaian lembar kuisioner pada tahap one-to-one sebesar 84,66 % dan dan tahap small group sebesar 78,22%. Kelayakan e-modul yang telah dibuat juga cukup baik dilihat dari hasil validasi oleh validator pada aspek materi, media, desain dan aksesbilitas rata-rata berada pada >80%. Kata Kunci: : e-Modul, Praktikum, PJJ, Fisika Dasar

Abstract

Household used cooking oil waste represents one of the most abundant waste sources generated at the household level. Despite its economic potential when properly utilized, the management of this waste remains suboptimal. This community service activity aims to enhance the literacy, skills, and capacity of the Ikwam Group at SD Kreatif Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan in processing used cooking oil waste into valuable products. The implementation methods include socialization on the impacts and utilization potential of used cooking oil, as well as training on simple purification processes and product creation, such as aromatherapy candles made from used cooking oil. Activity evaluation was conducted using participant response questionnaires based on the Likert scale. The results indicate that the program positively impacted participants' knowledge, motivation, skills, and awareness in household waste management. Based on the evaluation, the program achieved an 88.5% success rate, with an overall average score of 4.43, categorized as excellent. This initiative not only boosts partners' capacity for sustainable waste management but also opens opportunities for household-based creative economic development through the utilization of used cooking oil.
