Abstract

KBIH Jabal Nur is an institution that operates in the field of managing prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims in groups. KBIH Jabal Nur is an institution under the auspices of PDM Sidoarjo. KBIH Jabal Nur was founded in 2011, currently the information system is still traditional or manual where promotions for Hajj and Umrah registration are spread through verbal communication. Therefore, the author took the initiative to create a web-based information system to make it easier for users or pilgrims to find more in-depth information about Hajj and Umrah registration. The system used by the author is SDLC or system development life cycle, this method is used in creating or developing information systems that aim to solve problems effectively. On this website there is the history of KBIH, management structure, promotion of guidance registration and also social media. Of course, this website was designed using the SDLC method or system development life cycle to make it easier to create an author's website. Highlights : KBIH Jabal Nur enhances Hajj and Umrah registration process. Web-based system developed using SDLC methodology. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship of collaborative skills to cognitive learning outcomes in STEM-based science learning. This correlational study was conducted on science education students at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire to assess collaboration skills, as well as an essay test to measure cognitive learning outcomes. Data analysis using person product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between collaboration skills on cognitive learning outcomes with r count (0.425) greater than r table (0.355). Based on the value of r obtained, it can be concluded that collaboration skills have a fairly strong relationship to the learning outcomes obtained by students. Therefore, educators can empower students' collaboration skills, so that students' cognitive learning outcomes also increase.

Abstract

Abstract. Indonesia is one of the countries with the most consumption of processed chicken in Asia. This causes businesses and UKM in the field of chicken farming to be quite attractive. Oro-oro Bulu village is one of the villages located in the Rembang district. This village with the area and population density have the potential of developing chicken farming business. Chicken farms in the village of Oro Bulu although still relatively small but quite promising. It's just that chicken farmers in this village are still unable to produce their chicken seeds. Chicken seeds are usually imported by farmers from the Mojosari and Kediri regions. This is due to a lack of understanding of breeders on nurseries and lack of knowledge and maintenance of the hatchery equipment needed.Therefore, the researchers took the initiative to socialize understanding of chicken breeding and develop a simple egg incubator to help Oro Bulu farmers to produce chickens / DOC independently. The methods of implementation in IbM activities include using methods with counseling to deliver material that is theoretical and motivational, demonstration of assembling simple egg incubators directly. The entire socialization process is carried out by the implementing team of activities involving lecturers and students with areas of expertise that are by the needs of the field. Based on the results of respondents' questionnaire data processing, it was obtained that the average 71.8% stated that there was an increase in motivation and 77.5% stated the success of technology transfer by respondents after participating in the socialization activities. So that it can be said that this IbM activity has been successfully implemented. Abstrak. Indonesa merupakam salah satu Negara dengan pengkonsumsi olahan ayam terbanyak di Asia. Hal ini menyebabkan bisnis dan UKM bidang peternakan ayam cukup diminati. Desa Oro-oro bulu merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di kecamatan Rembang. Desa dengan Luas dan kepadatan penduduk ini memiliki potensi usaha peternakan ayam yang sedang berkembang. Peternakan ayam di desa Oro bulu meskipun masih terbilang kecil namun cukup menjanjikan. Hanya saja peternak ayam di desa ini masih belum mampu menghasilkan bibit ayam sendiri. Bibit ayam biasanya didatangkan oleh peternak dari wilayah Mojosari dan Kediri. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pemahaman peternak akan pembibitan dan minimnya pengetahuan dalam penggunaan dan perawatan peralatan penetasan telur yang dibutuhkan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti berinisiatif untuk melakukan sosialisasi pemahaman mengenai pembibitan ayam dan mengembangkan alat penetas telur sederhana untuk membantu peternak desa Oro bulu dalam menghasilkan bibit ayam/DOC secara mandiri. Metode pelaksanaan pada kegiatan IbM antara lain menggunakan metode dengan penyuluhan untuk penyampaian materi yang bersifat teori dan motivasi, demonstrasi perakitan alat penetas telur sederhana secara langsung. Keseluruhan proses sosialisasi dilaksanakan oleh tim pelaksana kegiatan yang melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa dengan bidang keahlian yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data angket responden diperoleh sebanyak rerata 71.8% menyatakan adanya kenaikan motivasi dan 77.5% menyatakan keberhasilan alih teknologi oleh responden setelah mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa kegiatan IbM ini telah berhasil dilaksanakan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology integrated with the Flutter platform to detect text in images in mobile applications. OCR technology allows extracting text from images automatically, eliminating the need for manual intervention, and is implemented using the Tesseract OCR library which is known to have a high level of accuracy. By combining Flutter, a multi-platform application development framework developed by Google, this research produces an application that is able to detect text from images taken via the kamera or cell phone gallery with fast response and high accuracy. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach was used in developing this system. Research stages include requirements planning, system design, system development, and implementation. System testing is carried out using the Black box testing method to ensure all features work according to specifications, as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to assess user satisfaction. The test results show that the application runs well and is accepted by users with a strongly agree level of approval (88%). This research contributes to creating an efficient and intelligent mobile application for detecting text in images, which can be used for various purposes, such as searching for digital comic references, detecting text on food menus, and identifying vehicle number plates.

Abstract

The internet is a phenomenon in today's era, serving not only as a medium for information sharing but also permeating the realm of online gaming, particularly Mobile Legends. This online game, playable even on low specifications, offers not only pure entertainment but also a potential avenue for trade. However, this situation can give rise to fraudulent activities due to Mobile Legends' "hackback" feature, wherein sellers can reclaim the accounts they have sold to customers. To address these issues, the researcher has developed an application that can blacklist game IDs involved in fraudulent activities, thus preventing recurring scams. In the User Acceptance Testing (UAT), this application scored 86%, falling within the "strongly agree" range. It is hoped that this application will assist parties engaged in account transactions, protecting them from unscrupulous entities and mitigating potential losses.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini adalah tahap awal yang krusial dalam perkembangan anak. Kualitas guru di Playgroup dan TK memegang peranan penting dalam proses perkembangan ini. Meskipun standar kompetensi untuk guru telah ditetapkan, banyak dari mereka yang masih belum memenuhi standar tersebut dalam praktiknya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Playgroup dan TK ABA 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat memberikan pengalaman yang berarti bagi siswa dan mendukung pencapaian tujuan SDG’s pendidikan berkualitas. Pendekatan yang diterapkan meliputi ceramah, latihan pembuatan media pembelajaran, dan peer teaching dengan menggunakan media yang telah dibuat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran yang inovatif serta peningkatan kreativitas guru setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Abstract

Pendidikan berkualitas merupakan salah satu fokus SDG’s tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Pembelajaran sains sejak usia dini sangat bermanfaat untuk membentuk pola pikir anak-anak kedepannya. Salah satu aspek dalam mewujudkan pendidikan berkualitas harus didukung dengan adanya sumber daya manusia yang memadai. Keberhasilan pendidikan selalu berkenaan dengan upaya pembinaan manusia. Namun tidak semua pendidik memiliki kemampuan literasi dan keterampilan sains yang sama karena masing-masing pendidik memiliki latar belakang bidang ilmu yang beragam. Permasalahan ini juga dialami oleh pendidik di TK ABA 1 Gedangan yang berperan sebagai Mitra. Oleh karena itu, program ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan literasi dan ketrampilan pendidikan dalam membuat media sains eksperimen yang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan tersusun dari beberapa tahapan utama, yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap monitoring dan tahap evaluasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan pada 10 peserta kegiatan untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan dari kegiatan ini akan dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pemberian angket evaluasi menunjukkan rerata 85.27 % cukup tinggi untuk disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan telah berhasil dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Karang Taruna is a social forum that is expected to be able to overcome various social problems that produce young generations and are able to develop the potential of the younger generation in their environment in the frame of increasing the level of social welfare of the community. This great mission from Karang Taruna cannot always be smooth, for example in the Griya Asri Karang Taruna Group. Griya Asri Kalitengah Karang Taruna is a Taruna reef that is quite active in the social field, but this group has a positive foundation that can hone skills and can increase motivation to be a creative and independent generation. Therefore, the researchers took the initiative to conduct an Art-Enginering (Areng) training on Pemuda Karang Taruna Griya Asri Kalitengah with Pawitra Ruang Seni to improve their skills in art and the manufacture of simple tools. Components of Training Success are viewed from the achievement of the target number of trainees and the achievement of training objectives. At the level of achievement of the target number of trainees from the data of members of the Asri Kalitengah Griya Karang Taruna can determine the target participants get 50% of the total member data and 77% of the total active members. As for the target achievement of goals in terms of changes in perceptions and motivations improved by using the questionnaire and questionnaire methods, while the assessment of changes in skills was reviewed from the implementation of the program agenda before and after the participants attended the training. In addition, it was also reviewed from the first activities carried out by cadets at regular meetings after the training was held. The general results of the data obtained from the training are good. From what is seen from the motivation, the quality of the practices that have been produced by the participants, it can be concluded that the objectives of this activity have been obtained.

Abstract

The use of mobile devices is increasingly popular due to their user-friendly nature and portability. Expert systems are a component of artificial intelligence that can solve problems typically encountered by experts in determining diagnoses based on specific symptoms. Cats are captivating animals with adorable behaviors, which is why many people choose to have them as pets. As cat owners, it is important for humans to have knowledge about various diseases that can affect cats, as well as preventive measures and treatments to avoid negative impacts on the surrounding environment. The objective of this research is to develop an Android-based expert system application using the forward chaining method to diagnose cat diseases. The development of this system utilizes Android Studio software and employs blackbox testing for evaluation. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Android-based expert system application using the forward chaining method functions well, based on the questionnaire completed by 10 cat owners with 5 provided questions. The average result from the user satisfaction questions that have been presented is 88%. The system validation also yielded a result of 80% from 5 tests conducted with users. This application can also help alleviate the workload of veterinarians and cat owners in diagnosing cat diseases, although it cannot replace the role of a veterinarian.

Abstract

Public services are very important for the government to see how much success it has in carrying out services to the community. Correspondence is very important in a village government, because it is a separate necessity for the community in managing files and also complaints which are activities that can help in realizing prosperity in a village. In this study the authors developed an information system to assist the community in managing letters to the government and making complaints so that the community does not need to come to the village government office. The author uses the CodeIgniter framework, the PHP programming language and the MySQL database in designing a correspondence information system. To carry out work on this article using the waterfall method because this method has structured stages in the design of this information system. This method begins with a needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, maintenance.The result obtained in the user acceptance test get a total percentage of 73%.
