Abstract

Books are the main tool for humans as a means of information and research for human education. The position of textbooks is considered important in the learning process, because books are included as learning resources and learning materials for students in the learning process. The existence of textbooks in Indonesian educational practice is still the main source of learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriateness of the content and language according to the National Education Content Standards for the textbooks for building aqidah morals for the first grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Curriculum 2013. This study used a qualitative method with a normative and empirical approach. The data obtained are in the form of government regulations, books, and textbooks. The results of the study stated that overall the material had met the requirements of the National Education Content Standards for accuracy, both from the content aspect and the references used which led to the achievement of KI and KD. In the aspect of language feasibility, this textbook is in accordance with the standards, because it is in accordance with the level of development of students, simple, effective, and efficient.Keywords: Content Feasibility; Textbook; Content standards; 13 curriculum AbstrakBuku adalah alat utama bagi manusia sebagai sarana informasi dan riset untuk pendidikan manusia. Buku teks pelajaran kedudukannya dianggap penting dalam proses pembelajaran, karena buku termasuk ke dalam sumber belajar dan bahan belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Keberadaan buku ajar dalam praktik pendidikan Indonesia masih merupakan sumber belajar yang paling utama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan isi dan bahasa menurut Standar Isi Pendidikan Nasional terhadap buku teks bina akidah akhlak siswa kelas I Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan normatif dan empiris. Data yang didapat berupa peraturan pemerintah, buku, dan buku teks. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa secara keseluruhan materi telah memenuhi syarat Standar Isi Pendidikan Nasional keakuratan, baik dilihat dari aspek isi maupun rujukan yang digunakan yang mengarah pada tercapainya KI dan KD. Pada aspek kelayakan bahasa, buku ajar ini telah sesuai dengan standar, karena telah sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan peserta didik, sederhana, efektif, dan efisien.Kata Kunci: Kelayakan Isi; Buku Teks; Standar isi; Kurikulum 13

Abstract

Teacher competence is very important, so a teacher must have the ability to professionally improve the implementation of his duties in the field of education. It is useful for educating the nation's children. This feasibility study aims to formulate policies related to the quality of education improvement that is focused on the condition of proper madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers based on the professional competencies possessed by each teacher. This study uses a qualitative method with a cross sectional technique to analyze the data of each MI teacher based on academic qualifications according to the field of study he teaches. The findings of this study indicate that there are still many MI teachers who do not have undergraduate academic qualifications as stipulated in Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers. The ratio between the number of Elementary Schools (SD) and MI (both private and public) in Haurgeulis District is 5:1; or the number of SD is 41 consisting of 31 public elementary schools and 10 private elementary schools, while the number of MI is only 8, all of which are private. It can be argued that public interest and the government's response to MI are still relatively low, partly because there are still relatively few competent teachers. Keywords: Feasibility Study; Professional Competence; Madrasah Ibtidaiyah AbstrakKompetensi guru sangat penting, sehingga seorang guru harus memiliki kemampuan dalam peningkatan profesional pelaksanaan tugasnya di bidang pendidikan. Hal itu berguna untuk mencerdaskan anak bangsa. Studi kelayakan  ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan kebijakan yang terkait dengan mutu peningkatan pendidikan yang difokuskan pada kondisi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI) yang layak berdasarkan kompetensi profesional yang dimiliki oleh setiap guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik cross sectional (potong lintang) untuk menganalisis data setiap guru MI berdasarkan kualifikasi akademik sesuai dengan bidang studi yang diajarkannya. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak guru MI yang belum berkualifikasi akademik sarjana sebagaimana ditetapkan dalam  Undang-Undang No.14 tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Nisbah antara jumlah Sekolah Dasar (SD)  dengan MI (baik swasta maupun negeri) di Kecamatan Haurgeulis yaitu 5:1; atau jumlah SD adalah 41 terdiri atas 31 SD negeri dan 10 SD swasta, sedangkan jumlah MI baru 8, semuanya berstastus swasta. Dapat dikemukakan bahwa minat masyarakat dan respon pemerintah terhadap MI masih relatif rendah disebabkan antara lain karena guru yang berkompeten masih relatif  kurang.Kata Kunci: Studi Kelayakan; Kompetensi Profesional; Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Abstract

The goal of this study was to enhance fifth-grade students' ability to generate ideas for narrative writing through the use of film media. This qualitative research is conducted by the researcher utilizing a qualitative descriptive methodology. The participants in this study were all class V MI students. Darurrohaman Kertanegara with 26 students. The sampling of all fifth-grade students using the saturated sample technique. The researcher employed observation, interviews, testing, and documentation for data collecting. Before utilizing film media (pretest) received an average of 62.76 results classified as incomplete, and after using film media (posttest) obtained an average of 74.84 results classified as complete. Based on the findings of the research conducted in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Darurrohman Kertangara class V, it can be concluded that film as a medium has a positive impact on students' ability to compose narrative texts.Keywords: Film Media, Writing Narrative Text AbstrakMateri menulis di sekolah sebagai salah satu keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia kurang ditangani sungguh-sungguh, akibatnya kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia siswa menjadi kurang memadai. Pembaruan metode pembelajaran yang setiap saat selalu bervariasi terlihat bahwa dalam proses belajar-mengajar khususnya di Sekolah Dasar masih terdapat guru yang mengajar dengan metode ceramah sebagai metode andalan dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil perkembangan menulis narasi siswa kelas V dengan penerapan media film. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, pretest dan postest pada siswa kelas V. Bedasarkan hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa sebelum menggunakan media film Pretest didapatkan hasil rata-rata 62,76 dinyatakan belum tuntas, dan sesudah menggunakan media film, Posttest hasil rata-rata 74,84 dinyatakan tuntas. Dari penemuan yang telah dilakukan peneliti terlihat bahwa media film efektif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menulis narasi siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Darurrohman KertanegaraKata Kunci: Media Film, Menulis Narasi.

Abstract

Descriptive essay is a text in the form of a description as if the reader can imagine an object in the text. In making a good descriptive essay, it is necessary to pay attention to the use of capital letters used by the author in delivering a descriptive essay. To achieve good use of capital letters, it is necessary to adjust to the rules of using capital letters. The purpose of this study was to find out the errors in the use of capital letters in the description essays for class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and to determine the type of errors in the use of capital letters that were dominant in the description essays for class V MI. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained are then described in the form of tables and words. The object of this research amounted to 15 essays description class V MI Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Haurgeulis. The results showed that the error in using capital letters in the class V MI description essay was still high. This can be proven from the results of the descriptive essay that many students do not understand the use of capital letters in accordance with the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). The dominant type of capital letter use error in class V description essays is the aspect of errors in the use of capital letters used as the first letter at the beginning of the sentence as many as 771 errors or 93.4%.Keywords: Error Analysis; Capital Letters; Description AbstrakKarangan deskripsi merupakan teks berupa penggambaran yang seakan-akan pembaca dapat membayangkan suatu objek di dalam teks tersebut. Dalam membuat karangan deskripsi yang baik, perlu diperhatikan penggunaan huruf kapital yang digunakan penulis dalam menyampaikan karangan deskripsi. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kesalahan penggunaan huruf kapital pada karangan deskripsi kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dan untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan penggunaan huruf kapital yang dominan pada karangan deskripsi kelas V MI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dideskripsikan dalam bentuk tabel dan kata-kata. Objek penelitian ini berjumlah 15 karangan deskripsi kelas V MI Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Haurgeulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan penggunaan huruf kapital pada karangan deskripsi kelas V MI masih tergolong tinggi. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil karangan deskripsi bahwa banyaknya siswa yang belum memahami penggunaan huruf kapital sesuai dengan Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI). Jenis kesalahan penggunaan huruf kapital yang dominan pada karangan deskripsi kelas V adalah pada aspek kesalahan penggunaan huruf kapital yang dipakai sebagai huruf pertama di awal kalimat sebanyak 771 kesalahan atau 93,4%.Kata Kunci: Analisis Kesalahan; Huruf Kapital; Karangan Deskripsi

Abstract

Karawitan is an art work living, surviving and developing in Java, Indonesia. It  has a very important function in people's lives. From the Karawitan learning activities at the art group of “Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu”, it is expected to promote and increase students interest to love the culture of Indonesia through the implementation of Cultural Arts and Crafts lesson. This study aims to describe: (1) the practice of Karawitan musical art training by elementary school teachers (2) implementation of cultural arts and crafts lesson (3) supporting and inhibiting factors of Karawitan musical learning at "Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu" art group. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The management of the art group and elementary school teachers who are the participans of Karawitan were the informers of study. The interviews and observation equipped with the list of questions and also docomentation were conducted to collect the data. The results showed that (1) the elementary school teachers carry out the Karawitan musical arts as the stages of the learning. (2)  This elementary level school teacher is able to implement it in learning Cultural Arts and Crafts. (3) Supporting factors are the desire and motivation, support and motivate the family, complete facilities and infrastructure. Kegiatan pelatihan karawitan di Sanggar “Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu” diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan cinta terhadap budaya, dipertahankan dan ditumbuhkembangkan pada siswa-siswa di sekolah melalui implementasi pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Praktik pelatihan kesenian karawitan oleh Guru Sekolah Tingkat Dasar (2) Implementasi pada pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelatihan karawitan di Sanggar “Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu.” Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengurus dan peserta pelatihan Sanggar “Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, dan observasi yang dilengkapi dengan daftar pertanyaan serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Praktik pelatihan kesenian karawitan oleh Guru Sekolah Tingkat Dasar terlaksana dan sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pelatihan (2) Guru Sekolah Tingkat Dasar ini mampu mengimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (3) Faktor Pendukung adalah keinginan dan motivasi, dukungan dan motivasi keluarga, sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap. Abstract

Banyak faktor yang perlu diperhatikan oleh Pemerintah dalam menumbuh- kembangkan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) di Indonesia, di antaranya ialah faktor aksesibilitas atau jangkauan masyarakat yang hendak belajar/menuntut ilmu di MI; faktor jumlah dan kualitas guru; faktor kurikulum yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan capaian pembelajaran lulusan; dan faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal. Faktor-faktor tersebut, baik secara tunggal maupun secara gabungan (beberapa faktor yang saling berkait), adalah bahan pertimbangan bagi masyarakat atau orang tua calon siswa MI dalam rangka pengambilan keputusan memilih sekolah di MI atau di tempat lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami faktor-faktor apa saja yang menjadi Pendukung Keputusan Orang Tua Menyekolahkan Anak di MI Raudlatul Mutaallimin Darul Abror Bekasi Tahun 2019; dan faktor apa paling dominan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara secara mendalam kepada 10 (sepuluh) informan yaitu orang tua siswa MI Raudlatul Mutaallimin Darul Abror Bekasi Tahun 2019. Sebagian besar informan adalah ibu-ibu dari siswa yang rutin menghantar dan menjemput anaknya bersekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung keputusan orang tua menyekolahkan anak di MI RM Darul Abror yaitu (a) proporsi pendidikan/ pelajaran agama Islam dalam kurikulum madrasah yang relatif besar, (b) jarak tempuh dari domisili siswa ke madrasah relatif dekat, (c) biaya pendidikan yang relatif terjangkau oleh orang tua siswa, (d) sistem belajar di madrasah yang full day, (e) keinginan dari anak/calon siswa sendiri, (f) sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, (g) madrasah telah memiliki akreditasi amat baik, dan (h) kepercayaan mayarakat terhadap madrasah secara turun temurun. Dari semua faktor ini, adapun faktor pendukung yang dominan yaitu proporsi pendidikan/pelajaran agama Islam dalam kurikulum madrasah yang relatif besar.

Abstract

Abstract: That in the context of developing national education, the active participation of the entire community is required. The forms of participation that have developed so far are very varied, depending on the situation and conditions of each region. In addition to the participation of the entire community, it is absolutely necessary for government policies to always support the direction of increasing the number and quality of educational institutions at all levels, including Islamic religious education. This study aims to determine the form of community participation and government policies in establishing/developing Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ar-Rahman in Widodaren Village, Widodaren District, Ngawi Regency. The subjects of the research were the staff of the Ministry of Religion of Ngawi Regency, the Chairperson of the Ar-Rahman Widodaren Foundation, the Head of the Ibtidaiyah Madrasah Ar-Rahman Widodaren, a number of parents of students and members of the community around MI Ar-Rahman Widodaren. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques: interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using a single site; and checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques and confirmability criteria. The results of the study show that: (1) the form of community participation in the development of MI Ar-Rahman Widodaren, in physical form including waqf land from residents, money, materials, teak wood, building power, consumption, benches, and shuttle car facilities, and school library books. Non-physical forms of community participation include ideas or contributions from community leaders, religious leaders, and other non-formal figures; and (2) government policies in the development of MI Ar-Rahman Widodaren in the form of administrative and non-administrative assistance, including planning, implementing, and evaluating the development program of MI Ar-Rahman Widodaren, including funding for School Operational Fees (BOS) and state teachers. which is still ongoing today.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic (coronavirus disease 2019) or the coronavirus has had a tremendous impact on society, including in the world of education. One of the impacts and changes that occur is a change in mass learning methods. That is, from face-to-face learning or Offline (outside the network) to distance learning or Online (in the network). Thematic lessons given at the elementary level are also provided online. This study aims to determine the implementation and obstacles faced in thematic learning in the 5th Grade of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah PUI Haurkolot when it is done online. The type of research used in this thesis is descriptive research with a research approach using a qualitative approach. In this study, the research subjects were students and teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah PUI Haurkolot Indramayu. The samples in this study were homeroom teachers and 5th-grade students of MI PUI Haurkolot. Data was collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction. The results showed that the application of online thematic learning for grade 5 at MI PUI Haurkolot, namely the teacher applied thematic learning to students, even though the thematic concepts provided were not very visible because the teacher provided material and fixed assignments on a per-subject system. While in the learning process, only most of the assignments and orders to work on questions are sent through the WhatsApp application media. While the obstacles faced are; limited internet quota, lack of learning media, uneven information technology capabilities, and lack of understanding of thematic learning concepts.

Abstract

Competence is an ability that must be possessed by teachers in carrying out their duties as educators. One of the competencies that must be possessed by teachers is the ability to manage learning, namely pedagogical competence. The purpose of this study was to determine pedagogical competencies possessed by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah teachers. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects of the study were 6 teachers teaching Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah. The results showed that the pedagogical competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Haurgeulis teachers, based on PP Number 19 Article 28 Paragraph 3 (a), which amounted to 5 components of pedagogical competencies that must be possessed by teachers, namely there are two components that are in the good category, and the three component categories are sufficient. Competence of understanding of learners and evaluation of learning outcomes of teacher competence has been good. But the competence of learning planning, learning implementation, and student development to actualize the potential it has, the competency of teachers is in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Learning Natural Sciences (IPA) at the basic level should be interesting learning and arouse students' interest in learning. Thus, it is necessary for educators, learning methods, media, and an appropriate environment to arouse students' interest in learning science, especially in class IV students of MI Darurrahman Haurgeulis. This study aims to determine the effect of the demonstration method and whether there is a positive influence on the interest in learning science at elementary level students. This study uses the semi experiment method (Quasi Experimental Method) with the design model of the time series experiment. The instrument used is a questionnaire using the scale Guttman. The sample used in this study were fourth grade students at MI Darurrohman, totaling 16 people. The results showed that the demonstration method had a very high effect on students' interest in learning science by 83.1% with an interval of 80%-100%. These results prove that there is a significant positive influence of the demonstration method on the interests of learning IPA grade IV students at MI Darurrohman Kertanegara Haurgeulis.
