Abstract

To date, unemployment rate in Gunung Kidul has been a problem that can not be resolved optimally . The emergence of new ways to tackle poverty certainly was needed by all takeholders.This research is descriptive library research. The writer used descriptive approach and the writer used an interactive models as analysis techniques. The purpose of this research was to determine the intent of “Desa Karya”, in order the Kajar villagers to be more creative skilled in the field of craft blacksmiths and to determine the contribution of “Desa Karya” in poverty reduction in rural areas. leteratur studies have been conducted in this research, it can be concluded that “Desa Karya” is a collection of people who is produce a product or service and actingsignificantly after the inventiveness and flavor process. Community to do something highly productive economically and materially. The implementation of “Desa Karya”concepts as blacksmith craftsman in Kajar will very potential to be formulated , due to the excellence work high quality products and had historical value . “Desa Karya” also able to reduce poverty and unemployment in rural areas

Abstract

This research propose to examine the effect organization culture, tranformational leadership, and compensation, on employee performance. Ninety eight respondents from PT Telkom Region IV Semarang, completed 65 items self-reported measures. The data collected survey method and questionares distributed to respondent. The statistic method used was Multiple Regression. As expected, result indicated that tranformational leadership and compensation has a positive effects on employee performance, while organization culture didn’t have effect on employee performance, it’s mean that ‘the telkom way 135’ which made since 2003 couldn’temployee perform, because before it telkom had strong organization culture. Furthermore, results show that tranformational leadership have a stronger effect on employee performance than compensation.Keywords: Organization Culture, Transformational Leadership, Compensation, and Employee Performance

Abstract

The purposeof this studywas to examinethe work-family conflictin the role of employeeperformance. Factors tobeantecedentsaresupervisorsupport, family involvement, role overload, andreligiosity. Work-family conflictis analyzedin two dimensions, which is based on timeand behavior.Family involvementis measuredfrom thefamily supportandfamily demands, while the performanceof the two-dimensionalmeasuredas describedMacKenzieetal. andWilliam&Anderson, namelyin-role andextra-role. Theimpactofwork-family conflictiswellbeing, in-role performanceandextra- role performance. The respondentsof this studyareemployees ofgovernments banksin theSpecial Region ofYogyakartain Central Java. Data collectionmethodandsurveyas many as 311 questionnaires returned from the350 whichcan bedeployedandusedin the analysis ofas many as 232pieces. Purposiveandconvenience sampling was used in this study. Validity and reliabilitytestingperformedbeforetesting therelationship betweenvariables usingstructural equation models. The analysis usedin this studyusing a Maximum Likelihood (ML). The resultscontribute towork-family conflictliteraturein threeways. Firstwork-family conflictoccurs onlyby timeand behavior, andis influenced byrole overload. The second wasfamily involvementoccurringform offamily supportdue tohigherdemands ofhis family. The third wasextra-role performanceis influencedby thewelfare of employeesin the form ofsatisfaction andgood health, whilewelfareis affectedby the performance of in-role andin-role performanceis affecteda person’s abilityto solve problemsisthe focus or in other words that they are having a good problem focused coping will be able to complete the in-role performance.Keywords: religiosity, work-family conflict, family involvement, wellbeing, performance.

Abstract

This study investigated and analyzed the influence of skill variety and feed back of Job characteristics on teacher performances via job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The population of this research is Teacher of Early Childhood Education (Paud) Non-Formal in Rembang whereas 1.040 people. The tehnique is purposive sampling. This involves Paud teachers in Rembang Regency as sampling who have been employed for 3 years and achieved at least middle school (SLTP) graduated. The sample of this research 120 respondent. The methods of this research are linear regression and Path analysis. The study found to improve performance in 5 ways as follows: (1) feed back of job characteristics was direct influence on performance; (2) feed back also influence on performance and continuance commitment as mediation; (3) feed back was influence on performance and promotion of satisfaction as mediation; 4) feed back was influence on teacher performance and job satisfaction as mediation; and (5) skill variety influence on Teacher performance and job satisfaction as mediation.  Keywords: skill variety, feed back, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and performance

Abstract

This research propose to examine the effect of person-organization fit on jobsatisfaction, organizational commitment, and employee performance. One hundred and fifty ninerespondents from Laksana Company, which produce autobus, located in Ungaran, Semarang,completed 42 items self-reported measures. The data collected survey method and questionnairesdistributed to respondent who have minimum three years in that job. The statistic method usedwas Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) assisted by application of AMOS 5.0 version. Asexpected, result indicated that the perception of person-organization fit has a positive effects onjob satisfaction, organizational commitment, and employee performance, while job satisfactionhave a positive effect on organizational commitment and employee performance, and thenorganizational commitment has a positive effect on employee performance. Furthermore, resultsshow that organizational commitment (especially affective commitment and continuancecommitment) have a stronger effect on employee performance than job satisfaction and personorganizationfit.Keywords: person-organization fit, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and employeeperformance

Abstract

Currently there are two of the three men who work have a wife who works, so families with dual career couples have become a norm. In Indonesia, more and more women are working outside their home, with their main reason (59%) is to increase income. This condition raises the pressure of work and family roles are incompatible with each other, known as Work-Family Conflict. The study concerning the topic initially utilized unidimensional scale measurements, but recently a lot of studies have employed multidimensional scale measurements.. Research gaps are also found in several studies with different results. This study offers the development of the multidimensional scale measurement of two dimensions, namely: futuristic and nurturistik in the measurement of work-family conflict, by combining role theory, social exchange theory and conservation of resources theory.

Abstract

Research Aims: The issues, such as global warming, increasing levels of pollution, increasing carbon, and climate change, make it mandatory for all organizations to strive to preserve the environment and work for the welfare of society. The aim to be achieved in this study was to explore the practice of green human resource management (GHRM) and its contribution to increasing sustainable organizational performance (SOP) through green service innovation (GSI) in the local government organizations of Semarang City, Indonesia.Design/Methodology/Approach: This research used a quantitative method. The data in this study were collected using closed online questionnaires for the leaders of the civil servants in each regional government organization in Semarang City. The data analysis employed the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) utilizing the software of Smart PLS 3.Research Findings: The results of the data analysis demonstrated that all proposed hypotheses were accepted. It has been proven that GHRM and GSI could, directly and indirectly, improve SOP in Semarang City Government through the primary indicator of the vision of developing environmental management and services for the community and environmentally friendly digital service innovations.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: GSI could mediate the relationship between GHRM and SOP. In addition, this study revealed that the digital elements of public services in GSI enormously increased SOP.Practitioners/Policy Implications: The results have been good news for leaders in public service organizations with different policies on becoming sustainable organizations and preserving environmentally friendly practices in serving the community.Research Limitations/Implications: The authors recognize that the current study has limitations. This research only focused on organizational performance. Since the authors see that GHRM and GSI practices play a decisive role for employees, this study recommends further research to investigate the role of GHRM and GSI on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether Leadership, Work Discipline, Organizational Commitment and Its Impact on the Performance of Nurse Rsud Wongsonegoro in Semarang and analyze the most dominant factors in influencing the performance of Rsud Wongsonegoro nurses in Semarang. In this study the study population refers to nurses Wongsonegoro Hospital Semarang. Samples taken as many as 67 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The equation model is processed using SPSS for Windows Version 20. The data testing techniques used in this study include the validity test, reliability test with Cronbach Alpha, classic assumption test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, normality test, multiple linear regression analysis, t, F test and coefficient of determination test. Based on the results of the study, leadership variables, work discipline and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on nurse performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence dual role conflict, burnout, and organizational justice on job satisfaction of the auditor employees in Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) representatives of Central Java Province. Data were collected from questionnaires completed by 110 participants and analysed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with AMOS 25.0 version. The findings reveal that dual role conflict had a psotive impact on job satisfaction. Further, burnout had a negative and significant on job satisfaction. Then organizational justice had a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction of Auditors at Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) is most quickly achieved by reducing their burnout, followed by creating dual role conflict (functional), and creating organizational justice for them.
