Abstract

Program pengembangan kewirausahaan mahasiswa di Departemen Pendidikan Luar Biasa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Padang dilaksanakan karena mahasiswa belum pernah melakukan pembuatan sabun cuci piring yang selalu dibutuhkan oleh setiap rumah tangga. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu ceramah, demonstrasi, dan penugasan. Sedangkan untuk pencapaian tujuan dilakukan evaluasi menggunakan tes perbuatan dengan cara mendemotrasikan cara pembuatan sabun cuci piring. Dari hasil pantauan dan evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian dapat di paparkan bahwa kegiatan pelayihan ini telah berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Tolak ukur untuk pencapaian tujuan yaitu dengan dibukanya wirausaha oleh mahasiswa tentang sabun cuci piring. Kegiatan pelatihan ini tidak hanya memandirikan mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha, akan tetapi juga dapat mengembangkan ekonomi kesejahteraan masyarakat daerah, terutama memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk mampu melatih anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB agar memiliki keterampilan vokasional untuk dapat hidup mandiri dikemudian hari.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found in SLB Muhammadiyah Pauh IX Padang class V/C. There is one student who has a problems in the ability to set the mattress sheet. In the activity of set the mattress sheet, children have not been able to set mattress sheet neatly. Setting mattress sheet is a self-development program that trains children to be independent. To overcome this, the researchers aims to improve students' ability to set mattress sheet using the modeling method. The research method used is Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A design. This research variable improves the skills of setting mattress sheet for mild mentally retarded children. Techniques in collecting data in the form of tests and data collection tools in the form of checklist instruments. The results of data analysis carried out for 15 meetings. Based on the data obtained from the results of this study, it was shown that the modeling method is effective to improve the skills of setting mattress sheet for mild mentally retarded children at SLB Muhammadiyah Pauh IX Padang.

Abstract

Autism is a developmental disorder in the brain characterized by the appearance of 3 repetitive, restrictive, stereotypical and obsessive behaviors. Even though there is no definite cause for autism, but some parts of the brain such as the amygdala, hippocampus, limbic system, cerebellum and the cerebral cortex experiences developmental histochemical to anatomic disorders. Until now there are no drugs to cure autism. However, if a child is on a food type diet specifically that discipline can really reduce to his autism. Especially for those who have good intelligence, then they are able to follow the level of education to college. This training activity was attended by all teachers in the Mandiri Character School which was attended by parents of students. This activity was considered successful because parents and teachers were enthusiastic in attending this event. Parents have a high curiosity to regulate a balanced diet for autistic children. Parents and teachers feel this activity is very useful in providing educational services for children with autism, because autistic children must follow a diet program to reduce the child's autism. Therefore, managing a balanced diet is very important for the success of the therapy and the learning process. Thus this activity is very beneficial for parents and teachers in providing services for children with autism. It is expected that parents at home can regulate healthy food patterns for autistic children, while teachers in schools can pay attention to the types of foods that autistic children may and may not consume.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove that the direct instruction model is used to improve the ability to sweep floors for children with Down syndrome. The research form is an A-B-A model experiment with one subject (A-B-A). The data format collected is percentile and analyzed by graphical visual analysis. The results collected from 16 observations in three phases, namely baseline (A1), showed a stable 28.5% and increased (+). The intervention phase (B) obtained stable data of 82% and increased (+). The baseline phase (A2) received a stable 92.2% data. The results showed that the direct instruction model was effectively used to improve floor skills in children with Down syndrome.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan seorang anak tunagrahita sedang kelas VIII SMPLB belum mampu menggunakan jilbab segi empat karena siswa belum di ajarkan oleh guru dan orang tua untuk memasang jilbab segi empat, sedangkan untuk siswa tingkat SMP sudah diwajibkan menggunakan jilbab segi empat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas model explicit instruction dalam meningkatkan memampuan memasang jilbab bagi anak tunagrahita sedang.  Kondisi A1 diperoleh hasil 20%, 35%, 35%. 35%. Kondisi B diperoleh hasil 40%, 45%, 50%, 45%, 60%, 60%, 60%. Kondisi A2 diperoleh hasil 70%, 80%, 80%, 80%. Hasil analisi data, dapat disimpulkan model  explicit   instruction bagi siswa tunagrahita sedang  efektiv dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memasang jilbab pada anak tunagrahita sedang.

Abstract

Pembelajaran untuk anak tunarungu tidak hanya pada bidang akademik saja, tetapi juga pada pembelajaran keterampilan. Pembelajaran keterampilan ini bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan life skill dan memberikan peluang pekerjaan pada anak. Penelitian ini berfokus pada permasalahan pembelajaran keterampilan membuat hiasan dinding dari kerang pada anak tunarungu kelas IX SLB YPPLB Padang, dengan menggunakan Jenis penelitian tindakan kelas, Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus, masing-masing siklus dilakukan empat kali pertemuan yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 januari- 25 januari 2023. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa video tutorial dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membuat hiasan dinding pada anak tunarungu. Sehingga, guru dapat menggunakan video tutorial untuk pembelajaran keterampilan.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems found at SD N 09 Koto Luar Padang, namely the learning difficulties of 10-year-old children in the ability to recognize place value. This study aims to reveal whether manipulative media can increase place value in children's learning difficulties. The method used is Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A design. Collect and measure all data in baseline condition one (A-1) continuously for four meetings. Intervention using manipulative media (B) was carried out for eight meetings. Provides a second baseline (A-2) for four meetings. Data collection techniques in this study by giving tests. Based on the results of data analysis on conditions that show an increase in the ability to know place value. Overlapping analysis data between conditions, at baseline (A-1) and intervention (B) is 0%, and overlapping data for baseline conditions (A-2) and intervention is 0%. Based on the results of data analysis, shows that manipulative media can improve the ability to know place value on children's learning difficulties.

Abstract

In this study the researcher made observations on one subject of a child with disabilities in which he experienced speech delays. To develop the children's speaking ability, the researchers did pronunciation exercises in which there were bilabial letters using the direct instruction method. The type of research used is single subject research (SSR) with A-B-A design. The results of this study found that the direct instruction method can improve the ability to pronounce words for children with disabilities. Based on the results of the research, the pronunciation of words using the direct instruction method can improve the pronunciation of words in which there are bilabial letters in children with disabilities. This can be seen in the baseline conditions (A1) the ability to pronounce words in which there are bilabial letters is still low as evidenced by the results obtained by the children, namely 10%, In the intervention condition (B) after the intervention using the direct instruction method, the ability to pronounce words in which there are increased bilabial letters is proven by the child getting scores, namely 80% . Whereas in the baseline condition (A2) after the intervention was stopped or not given anymore because the ability to pronounce the word which contained the child's bilabial letters had increased by getting a score of 80%. Overlap data in the analysis between conditions, at baseline (A1) and intervention (B) conditions was 100% and the results of the comparison analysis between the intervention conditions (B) and the baseline conditions (A2) showed that the percentage of overlap data was 37,5%. The smaller the overlap percentage, the better the effect of the intervention on changing target behavior in this research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pelaksanaan perkuliahan yang secara mendadak dilakukan secara daring akibat Covid 19. Selain itu juga karena departemen pendidikan luar biasa merupakan departemen dengan mahasiswa disabilitas paling beragam di Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi mahasiswa disabilitas mengenai perkuliahan daring selama covid 19 yang terdiri dari 3 aspek. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Responden penelitian 5 orang mahasiswa disabilitas di departemen pendidikan luar biasa Universitas Negeri Padang. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif naratif. Keabsahan data mengguanakan triangulasi dengan metode. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah disimpulkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa disabilitas mengenai perkuliahan daring selama covid 19 di departemen pendidikan luar biasa masih perlu ditingkatkan kualitasnya. Adapun aspek yang perlu diperhatikan adalah pengadaan layanan kompensatorisnya meliputi pengadaan juru bahasa isyarat pelatihan penggunaan laptop. Selain itu juga partisipasi dosen di diskusi e-learning untuk meluruskan hasil diskusi mahasiswa
