Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies in increasing the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Lake Toba area, especially the Balige area. The method used is a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews and participatory observation of several MSMEs in Balige. This research found that the implementation of digital marketing, through social media, websites and e-commerce platforms, has a positive impact on increasing sales and brand awareness for MSMEs. The obstacles faced include limited digital knowledge, access to technology and internet infrastructure. However, with the right training and mentoring, MSMEs are able to utilize digital marketing to expand their market share and compete at local and national levels. This study suggests collaboration between the government, private sector and academics to provide sustainable training and improve digital infrastructure in the Lake Toba area to support the sustainability and development of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study uses a bibliometric literature review approach with a sample mapping literature of 10 articles regarding planned behavior theory approaches to purchase decisions; Reference articles from 2007 - 2021 under publisher Elsevier (e.g., LWT, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Food Quality and Preference Journal, Energy Policy, Decision Support Systems Journal, and Industrial Marketing Management ). Universally, the results of this literature study state two propositions and hypotheses (e.g., Firstly, the theoretical implication states that there is a robust theoretical correlation between the theory of Planned behavior on purchase decisions; secondly, the correlation of planned behavior theory in aspects of management (e.g., marketing, Technology, and HRM) make a positive contribution as a grounded theory to explain antecedent variables and their correlation to other approaches)

Abstract

This research focuses on Del Institute of Technology students and aims to analyze the impact of social media marketing on purchasing decisions in the Tokopedia marketplace. In today's digital era, social media has become an important tool in marketing strategies, and it is important to understand its influence on purchasing decisions. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. This data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 35 students who are active on social media and have purchased products on Tokopedia at least once in the last six months. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS software. The findings show that four social media marketing variables have a significant impact on students' purchasing decisions: content, interaction, use of influencers, and promotion. Interesting and informative content, responsive interactions, use of trusted influencers, and attractive promotions proved effective in increasing purchasing decisions. The conclusion of this study shows that an effective social media marketing strategy can increase purchasing decisions on Tokopedia. Based on these findings, some practical recommendations are made for Tokopedia to improve content quality, engagement, influencer selection, and advertising offers. This study also has limitations in sample size and population coverage, and it is recommended to conduct further research with larger samples and additional variables to support the results.

Abstract

Abstract This research analyzes the influence of the quality of the online shop website Shopee on consumers' online purchasing intentions. Using a quantitative approach, this study investigates four dimensions of website quality: information quality, ease of use, website design, and trustworthiness. Data was collected through an online survey of active Shopee users using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Online purchase intention is measured based on the possibility of buying, desire to buy, and intention to seek information. Statistical analysis was used to determine the relationship between website quality and purchase intention, as well as identify the most influential dimensions. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide insight into developing marketing strategies and improving the performance of online shop websites, especially Shopee, in increasing consumers' online purchasing intentions.

Abstract

This research focuses on three types of values that are co-created: comfort value, economic value, and relational value. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The results of the study show that customer participation has the greatest impact on economic value and also has a significant impact on the value of pleasure. These created values affect system satisfaction, which in turn increases customer loyalty and overall company satisfaction. Thus, the company's strategy in increasing customer happiness and loyalty through self-service technology is highly dependent on the active participation of customers in the creation of shared value.

Abstract

Business model design is a strategy for creating, delivering and capturing value so that companies can compete in the business environment. The port as an important point that allows business, services, and trade to take place has a changeable environment. The research aims to identify environmental factors that affect the port's business model, and provide strategy recommendations based on Miles and Snow's typology strategy analysis. Data analysis techniques using RBV, SWOT and Miles and Snow typology. The results of RBV analysis show that the port has 50% sustainable resources, 40% temporarily competitive and 10% less competitive. The results of SWOT analysis, the ports of Balige and Ajibata are in quadrant I position and it is recommended to use strategies based on the strength-opportunity matrix. The existing alternative strategies are analyzed using the Miles and Snow typology, obtaining three types of strategies that can be used, namely prospector, defender and analyzer. The strategy is expected to increase the port's competitiveness, operational efficiency and flexibility in the face of environmental changes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi distribusi hasil pertanian padi di Kecamatan Silaen melalui penerapan sistem manajemen rantai pasokan (Supply Chain Management/SCM). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain analitik, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui survei kepada petani, pengumpul, distributor, dan pengecer. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk dan rantai pasok tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap efisiensi distribusi, dengan nilai R-Square sebesar 39%, yang menunjukkan adanya faktor-faktor lain yang belum diidentifikasi dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disarankan agar penelitian lebih lanjut dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi efisiensi distribusi. Selain itu, perbaikan infrastruktur, pelatihan teknologi modern, diversifikasi pasar, dan penerapan teknologi informasi dalam manajemen rantai pasok diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi hasil pertanian padi di Kecamatan Silaen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendalam tentang peran ekosistem pembelajaran dalam konteks inovasi peningkatan sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan di lingkungan organisasi. Fokus utama adalah untuk menggali sejauh mana pemanfaatan teknologi dan integrasi metode pembelajaran baru dapat mempercepat pertumbuhan kompetensi karyawan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis konten untuk memahami pengaruh ekosistem pembelajaran terhadap budaya organisasi dan perkembangan individu. Temuan penelitian memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang dampak personalisasi pembelajaran, keterlibatan karyawan, dan dampak positif terhadap inovasi di tempat kerja. Selain itu, penelitian ini merinci tantangan dan peluang yang terkait dengan pemanfaatan ekosistem pembelajaran dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan dasar yang kokoh untuk pengembangan strategi pelatihan yang lebih efektif dan relevan dengan tuntutan perubahan dinamis di dunia kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tantangan dan strategi dalam perancangan pekerjaan di era digital, khususnya dalam konteks transisi menuju Industri 4.0. Meskipun program Making Indonesia 4.0 telah mengidentifikasi langkah-langkah untuk mendorong sektor manufaktur, tantangan signifikan masih ada, terutama dalam meningkatkan daya saing industri otomotif, kimia, dan elektronik. Fokus pada peningkatan kualitas SDM penting, namun hambatan seperti biaya investasi tinggi, kompleksitas integrasi, dan kurangnya dukungan manajemen perlu diatasi. Strategi pendidikan yang menekankan STEAM dan dukungan industri asing menjadi faktor krusial. Keterampilan manusia yang tidak dapat diotomatisasi, seperti kemampuan interpersonal, pemikiran kritis, dan keahlian komputer, harus dikembangkan. Upaya pemerintah, seperti pengurangan jam kerja dan penerapan pendapatan dasar universal, menunjukkan usaha mengatasi dampak otomasi. Namun, ketidaksetaraan akses digital di Indonesia tetap menjadi tantangan yang perlu diselesaikan agar manfaat otomasi dapat dinikmati secara merata. Keselarasan antara teknologi, keterampilan manusia, dan kesejahteraan karyawan adalah kunci menciptakan lingkungan kerja berkelanjutan. Pemimpin dan organisasi perlu menghadapi tantangan ini dengan pendekatan inovatif dan adaptif, memprioritaskan kesejahteraan karyawan dan mencerminkan dinamika era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction with sports facilities and infrastructure at the Del Institute of Technology. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) through SmartPLS 4.0 and SPSS 25.0 software to test validity and reliability. The results of the study show that the quality of sports facilities at IT Del has a significant influence on student satisfaction. Some of the obstacles found include limitations in the type of facilities, poor condition of facilities, and limitations in staff and coaches. These findings provide input for the campus to improve the quality of sports facilities to increase student satisfaction.
