Abstract

Seorang guru perlu memiliki keterampilan-keterampilan tertentu yang berbeda dengan profesi lainnya. Keterampilan menjelaskan (explaining skill) sebagai salah satu keterampilan guru yang perlu dilatihkan sejak masa perkuliahan. Oleh karena itu perkuliahan di program studi pendidikan ekonomi sebagaian besar menggunakan metode diskusi dan metode tanya jawab. Dalam metode diskusi mahasiswa dilatih untuk menyampaikan informasi atau pendapatnya, dalam metode tanya jawab juga demikian, mahasiswa dilatih untuk menyampaikan jawaban atau bertanya mengenai permasalahan- permasalahan. Dengan demikian akan banyak kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk berlatih menjelaskan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti ingin mengetahui dengan lebih jelas tentang kontribusi metode diskusi dan tanya jawab dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menjelaskan (explaining skill). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan penyebaran kuesioner, sedangkan analisa data menggunakan analisa regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa  metode diskusi berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan  keterampilan  menjelaskan  mahasiswa  program studi  pendidikan ekonomi sebesar nilai r square yaitu 0,063 atau 6,3%. Metode tanya jawab berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menjelaskan mahasiswaprogram studi pendidikan ekonomisebesar nilai r square yaitu 0,073 atau 7,3%, sedangkan metode diskusi dan metode   tanya   jawab   berkontribusi   secara   bersama-sama   dalam   meningkatkan keterampilan menjelaskan mahasiswa program studi pendidikan ekonomisebesar nilai r square yaitu 0,127 atau 12,7% Kata Kunci : Diskusi, Keterampilan menjelaskan, Tanya jawab.

Abstract

Terjadi kegagalan pada pipa boiler  superheater dengan material ASTM A213 T12 di sistem pembangkit yang berada di Pabrik kelapa sawit setelah pemakaian selama 4,5 tahun. Pipa boiler yang bekerja pada temperatur 600°Cdan tekanan 80 bar mengalami kerusakan berupa pecah pada bagian tengah dengan indikasi adanya bulging pada bagian tengah sejajar sumbu axis disertai penipisan ketebalan pipa dan hadirnya produk korosi. Investigasi dengan metode analisa kegagalan dilakukan melalui beberapa pemeriksaan dan pengujian merusak untuk mengetahui penyebab kegagalan, yaitu pengamatan visual, pemeriksaan komposisi kimia menggunakan spectroskopi, pengujian kekerasan menggunakan micro vickers tester, dan pengamatan struktur mikro menggunakan optical microsccopy dan scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Adanya unsur krom pada bagian yang mengalami pecah yang jumlahnya di bawah range  sangat mempengaruhi penurunan terhadap ketahanan korosi dan nilai kekerasan. Batas butir dari fasa ferit pada struktur mikro menipis dengan ukuran butir yang membesar sebagai akibat telah mengalami sperodisasi dan dekarburisasi serta korosi sumuran dari pemeriksaan SEM pada kerak produk korosi. Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa pipa boiler superheater mengalami pecah dari dalam dengan inisiasi penipisan ketebalan sebagai akibat dari korosi sumuran pada dinding dalam pipa, yang menyebabkan pipa boiler superheater mengalami pemanasan berlebih pada kondisi operasi temperatur dan tekanan tinggi, sehingga pipa menerima beban panas berlebih dan terjadi pecah..Kata kunci: pipa boiler superheater, pecah,analisis kegagalan, pemanasan berlebih, korosi sumuran

Abstract

Research on larval production of Parrot red rainbow fish Glassolepis incisus has been done by using different numbers of raffia’s rope as substrats for eggs attachment. A raffia’s rope substrats of different plys concentrations namely A 360 plys, B 720 plys, and C 1080 plys were used. The spawning was carried out during 30 days, and larval feeding was given twice a day with frozen Chironomus larvae in ad satiation rate. The results showed that highest spawning frequencies was found in treatment A (360 plys) with 24 times, and then treatment B (720 plys) with 23 times, and treatment C (1080 plys) with 18 times. Highest eggs production were found on treatment A, B and C respectively at 1154 eggs, 892 eggs, and 691 eggs, respectively. Whiles the hatching rate were found that the treatment A = 92 %, treatment B= 85 % and treatment C= 94 %. The Treatment A overall was the best treatment in this experiment.Keyword: Larval, Parrot red rainbow, raffia rope, spawning

Abstract

ABSTRACT Critical Path Model (CPM) has been widely used in construction project management as an effective and efficient tool for planning and managing project schedules. This study aims to analyze the contribution of CPM to quality management geothermal project at Lumut Balai, especially in the context of ISO 9001. By reviewing existing literature and case studies, this study explores how CPM can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of ISO 9001 quality management. From the analysis obtained 12 critical paths on the disciplines of Mist Eliminator, Piping, Mechanical, and Painting & Insulation. The results of this study show that the use of CPM can reduce the duration to 604 days compared to the initial schedule of 825 days. CPM can play a significant role in improving quality management in construction companies by providing clear and accurate project schedules, reducing delays, and improving overall project performance. In addition, integration of CPM with quality management tools can enhance overall quality management system and increase chance of project success. The conclusion of this study is CPM has great potential to assist construction companies in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of ISO 9001 quality management. Construction companies in Indonesia should adopt CPM as a project management tool to ensure project success and meet ISO 9001 quality standards. Abstract

The lack of public awareness in implementing Health protocols in the prevention and handling of Covid-19 is the reason for providing education or knowledge of citizens on the importance of maintaining health protocols. The objectives of this community service program are 1) to increase public knowledge and provide correct information on how to prevent and handle Covid-19, 2) to help realize government programs so that they can run the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) and Healthy Living Community Movement (PHBS) program. GERMAS) which is programmed by the government such as washing hands in running water, using hand sanitizer, using mouth masks, maintaining distance, 3) assisting the government in disseminating correct information about how to prevent and handle COVID-19 through mass media, both print media such as brochures. / leaflets and electronically through social media, 4) increase the sense of security and comfort for the community to carry out activities outside the home such as worshiping in public places and other activities, because disinfectants have been sprayed regularly in certain places, 5) assisting the government in implement a vaccination program mass by providing correct information and knowledge about the vaccination program as a preventive effort to prevent and handle covid-19 and 6) the realization of people who are aware of the importance of maintaining health. The method of activities carried out is using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, Observation, Focus group discussion (FGD) approach, counseling, mentoring/monitoring, providing follow-up and program evaluation. The results of this activity showed a very positive response from the residents of the Linggasirna Community, Sariwangi District, Tasikmalaya Regency with this activity, we even received a report from the village head that more than 60% of residents who had vaccinated so far had only 15% of the total population. inhabitant. The outputs of this activity are: 1) publication in local print mass media, and 2) producing scientific publication articles published in accredited National Journals with ISSN.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of greed, opportunity, need and exposure on student academic cheating behavior. This research uses a quantitative survey research method with an explanatory research design. The population in this study were active students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Siliwangi University class of 2020, totaling 1289 students. The sample collection technique used Proportional Random Sampling, and the sample size was 305 respondents. Data collection methods use questionnaires and data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis, partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data processing, it was found that greedy did not have a significant effect on students' academic cheating behavior. Opportunity has a significant effect on academic cheating behavior. Need has a significant effect on academic cheating behavior. Exposure has no effect on academic cheating behavior. Then greedy, opportunity, need and exposure have a significant effect on students' academic cheating behavior.

Abstract

Model problem based learning sering kali digunakan dalam peningkatan keterampilan critical think peserta didik. Namun, dalam tahapan pembelajaran model tersebut masih dikatakan kurang optimal dalam penerapannya. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menggabungkan model serta metode dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu dengan penggabungan model problem based learning dengan metode mind mapping pada kelas XI di SMA Negeri 10 Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI-8 dan XI-10 yang terdiri dari 60 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan critical thinking peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas control, hal itu terbukti dengan hasil posttest menunjukkan kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan yang berbeda lebih tinggi yaitu 86.00 dibandingkan dengan rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 80.43. Dari data sig.(2-tailed) diperoleh nilai yaitu 0.001 < dari 0.05 maka dinyatakan Ha diterima. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perubahan dan pengaruh yang signifikan lebih baik serta efektif dalam penggunaan model problem based learning (PBL) dengan metode mind mapping dibandingkan pada model pembelajaran direct learning (konvensional).

Abstract

The low creative thinking ability of students in workshop and entrepreneurship subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Singaparna is caused by the use of learning models that are not in accordance with the material to be delivered. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the project-based learning model assisted by video media to the creativity of students. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of quasi experiment. The theory that underlies this research is the theory of learning constructivism developed by Jean Piaget. The population in this study were all students of class XII MIPA consisting of 4 classes with the number of students in each class was 36 people, the sample was taken using purposive sampling technique with the criteria that the class that obtained the lowest average pre-study score was used as the experimental class, while the class with the highest average pre-study score was used as the control class. The data collection technique used was to conduct pretests and posttests on the classes that had been sampled. The data that has been obtained is then processed by simple linear regression analysis, with the result that the application of the project-based learning model assisted by video media is able to improve the creative thinking ability of students compared to the control class using the conventional learning model after treatment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beragamnya gaya belajar peserta didik dan lingkungan pertemanan di sekolah serta rendahnya hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi peserta didik kelas X, hal ini terlihat dari nilai Penilian Akhir Semester (PAS) peserta didik masih banyak yang nilainya berada di bawah KKM. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar dan konformitas teman sebaya terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan desain explanatory. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas X yang berjumlah 440. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu probability sampling dengan cara simple random sampling sampel yang diambil yaitu 210 peserta didik. Data diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS Versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Terdapat perngaruh antara gaya belajar dan hasil belajar dengan nilai sig sebesar 0,000 atau < 0,05, 2) Terdapat perngaruh antara konformitas teman sebaya terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai sig sebesar 0,000 atau < 0,05, 3) Terdapat pengaruh antara gaya belajar dan konformitas teman sebaya terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low student learning outcomes in economics subjects. This study aims to determine the influence of school infrastructure on learning saturation and its implications on the learning outcomes of students of economics subjects in grades X, XI and XII of IPS Nangtang High School, Tasikmalaya Regency for the 2023/2024 school year. In this study, a survey research method was used with a quantitative approach, through an explanatory design. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation and data analysis techniques use the help of the SPSS program. The population in this study is 91 students, using a saturated sampling technique. The results of the study showed that: there was an influence between infrastructure facilities on learning saturation, infrastructure variables on learning outcomes, learning saturation variables on learning outcomes and the influence between infrastructure variables on learning outcomes through learning saturation. The contribution of the direct influence of the infrastructure variable (X) on learning outcomes (Y) was 22% while the contribution of the indirect influence of the infrastructure variable (X) on learning outcomes (Y) through learning saturation (Z) was 64.3%. So that the amount of indirect influence is greater than the direct influence.
