Abstract

Abstract

PT Yorgo Anugerah Nusantara is a palm oil company with 510 employees whose leave, permit, overtime, and business-trip requests are handled entirely through paper forms. Each submission requires a physical handover from the employee to the Head of Department for approval, then to HRD for recording, resulting in delays of more than one working day per cycle and errors in documentation. This study develops a mobile-based employee request administration system that digitises those four workflows. The system is built using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, implemented with the .NET MAUI cross-platform framework, ASP.NET Core Web API, and PostgreSQL. System modelling used Use Case Diagrams and Activity Diagrams to capture both the current and proposed processes, and an Entity Relationship Diagram for data structure design. Functional validation applied Black Box Testing with the Equivalence Class Partitioning technique, all of which returned valid results. The system successfully replaces paper-based workflows with a digital end-to-end approval chain, enables real-time tracking of request status, and enforces automatic validation rules including a two-hour cap on permit duration, time-logic checks for overtime, and mandatory document attachment for sick leave.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the challenges currently being faced by the Indonesian financial sector in terms of transparency and trust. Various cases that often occur such as data manipulation, fraud, and lack of accountability in the financial transaction process have drastically reduced public trust in financial institutions. Blockchain technology here is present as one of the potential solutions to overcome this problem, by offering a decentralized, transparent, and immutable financial recording system. This study aims to analyze the implementation of blockchain technology in increasing transparency and trust in the Indonesian financial sector. The research method used is qualitative with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This research was conducted by collecting and analyzing relevant literature related to the implementation of blockchain in the financial sector, especially in Indonesia. The analysis process was carried out using the content analysis method in order to identify the benefits, challenges, and impacts of blockchain implementation on transparency and public trust. The results of the study show that blockchain has great potential in increasing transparency in the financial sector, by reducing the risk of data manipulation and increasing operational efficiency. However, several challenges are still faced, such as inadequate regulations, uneven technological infrastructure, and low digital literacy in the community. This study emphasizes the need for collaboration between the government, financial institutions, and the community to create an ecosystem that supports the widespread adoption of blockchain technology. With a collaborative approach, blockchain is expected to contribute significantly to strengthening a more transparent, accountable, and highly competitive financial ecosystem in the future. In addition, this study provides an understanding of the readiness of the Indonesian financial sector in facing technological changes and innovation opportunities in the future.

Abstract

Blockchain and cryptocurrencies have changed the way we transact and interact in the digital age. However, the rapid advancement of these technologies has resulted in major environmental impacts. Efficient implementation of blockchain requires the use of large amounts of energy and computing power, with consensus algorithms as the foundation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the environmental implications of blockchain and cryptocurrency implementation, as well as initiatives to mitigate these issues. The type of research is a library study (library research) using a qualitative method, namely by combining, collecting information or previous scientific papers on relevant topics. Along with the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies, the continuous mining process often results in large energy consumption and carbon emissions, sparking concerns about their long-term viability and environmental impact. Based on the results of previous research and research sources, the author found a solution to the problem of high energy consumption from the use of blockchain, namely: Proof of Stake (PoS), Proof of Authority (PoA), Sidechains and Layer-2 Solutions, Hardware Optimization, Implementation of Consensus Algorithms Based on RUST.

Abstract

The information system is also one of the most important parts for companies in increasing productivity, both in obtaining information, processing, and using the information, especially for the benefit of the company. UD. Monza Collection is a form of business that is engaged in distributors for women's clothing such as shorts, leggings, tank tops, and others and then sells them wholesale. The problem with the store is that the store often has difficulty in knowing the amount of raw materials by the distribution staff quickly and the calculation of the number of finished goods by the warehouse staff who are very prone to errors, this will result in delays in distribution and sales activities. The system design methodology used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. The design of the input system using Microsoft Visual Studio 2015, The design of the system output using Crystal Report and data storage using Microsoft SQL Server 2014. The result of this writing is a desktop design that makes it easy to find out the available stock and makes it easy to make the required reports quickly. So that the results of this information system design can help the store in managing information and computerized business processes.

Abstract

Good software can be used if there is proper testing. The testing phase is quite important because the software needs to be tested before it is used by end users. In making software for animal hospitals there is no validation and verification so testing is needed. This study used information on the registration section of veterinary hospital patients and was tested by three Black Box Testing methods, namely Equivalence Class Partitioning (ECP), Boundary Value Analysis (BVA), and Decision Table plus the LOC approach. The test results of the three methods are that the percentage of invalid ECPs is greater than the valid ones, so the input value limit needs to be changed again. Then for BVA testing, the percentage of valid is higher than invalid. In the decision table, a shortening rule is made between operating services and other services so that it produces inpatient status and down payment automatically without choose it again and is tested again by the decision table by matching the estimation results of the two services.

Abstract

Software can be said to be suitable for use when testing has been carried out. The testing stage is an important element in making software or websites. In making software for animal hospitals, there is no validation and verification so testing is needed. This study uses the information display of the patient registration section of the animal hospital and is tested with two Black Box Testing methods, namely Equivalence Class Partitioning (ECP) and Boundary Value Analysis (BVA). The test results with the ECP method are higher than the invalid ones, so it is necessary to change the input value limit. Then for the BVA test, the percentage of valid is higher than invalid. From the results of the two methods, it is shown that the BVA method is better than the ECP method, so it is necessary to improve the data type section when inputting
