Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work-life balance on employee performance at PT Mitra Satwa Sehat. The study is grounded in the importance of human resource management in supporting productivity, effectiveness, and the achievement of organizational goals—specifically through appropriate leadership and the establishment of a balance between work demands and employees' personal lives. A quantitative approach utilizing a survey method was employed. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to all employees of PT Mitra Satwa Sehat, who served as respondents under a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis involved instrument testing, assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (both partial and simultaneous). The results indicate that leadership style has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance. Work-life balance also has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, leadership style and work-life balance exert a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The findings reveal that work-life balance makes a more dominant contribution to explaining employee performance than leadership style when both variables are analyzed together. This suggests that the company's ability to foster alignment between work and personal life is a crucial aspect of supporting optimal performance. This study is expected to contribute to the field of human resource management and serve as a reference for the company in formulating more effective leadership and work-life balance policies to sustainably enhance employee performance. Consequently, implementing effective leadership and work policies that support employee well-being can serve as a managerial strategy to build a productive, adaptive, and sustainable work environment that aligns with organizational needs
