Abstract

Dengan meningkatnya penggunaan produk digital, perancangan desain User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) yang sesuai menjadi faktor penting untuk memfasilitasi pengalaman pengguna yang memuaskan, terlebih pada media pembelajaran digital.  Pembelajaran melalui media digital seperti aplikasi berbasis website (web application) menjadi salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang semakin marak digunakan. Hal ini sejalan dengan kemajuan teknologi dan bagaimana semakin banyak sektor yang terkomputerisasi, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Penelitian ini merespon kebutuhan akan akses belajar debat Bahasa Inggris di Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) South Sumatra English Community atau SSEC Universitas Bina Darma. Berawal dari sulitnya akses belajar debat melalui buku fisik dan file-file pdf yang tidak tergorganisir secara runtut dan rapi, penulis berinisiatif untuk menciptakan desain perancangan UI/UX untuk media pembelajaran debat Bahasa Inggris berbasis website agar materi dapat terarsip dengan baik disertai dengan akses yang mudah. Perancangan desain UI/UX menjadi faktor penting untuk keberhasilan suatu media pembelajaran yang akan dibuat mengingat pentingnya faktor kenyamanan end-user atau pengguna dalam menggunakan website. Perancangan desain akan berorientasi pada pendekatan Design Thinking, yaitu suatu metode perancangan yang menitikberatkan pada preferensi dan pemecahan masalah melalui perspektif pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah setelah dilakukan pengujian pengguna (user testing) dengan perhitungan single ease question (SEQ), diperoleh skor keberhasilan sebesar 5,93 yang menunjukan hasil memuaskan dengan desain yang mudah digunakan.

Abstract

Pemilu merupakan pilar utama dalam demokrasi yang membutuhkan sistem yang transparan dan akurat, terutama dalam proses pendataan pemilih melalui Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT). Di Indonesia, pengelolaan DPT menghadapi tantangan terkait validitas dan akurasi data, yang dipengaruhi oleh peningkatan jumlah pemilih dan kompleksitas data wilayah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi dashboard visualisasi DPT Pemilu 2024 dengan menggunakan Tableau sebagai alat untuk menyajikan data pemilih dan Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) secara komprehensif dan mudah dipahami. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup teknik visualisasi data dengan peta, treemap, dan bar chart, yang menampilkan distribusi pemilih dan TPS berdasarkan wilayah administratif. Evaluasi dashboard dilakukan melalui User Acceptance Testing (UAT) dengan lima responden pengguna umum, fokus pada aspek kejelasan judul, keterangan sumbu, konsistensi warna, dan keterbacaan teks. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 80% elemen visual memenuhi standar kebutuhan pengguna, dan 60% responden menilai visualisasi peta dan grafik efektif dalam membantu pemahaman data pemilih dan TPS. Namun, beberapa elemen visual, seperti kejelasan grafik, detail peta, dan kebutuhan tambahan tooltip untuk informasi rinci, masih memerlukan perbaikan. Secara keseluruhan, dashboard ini diharapkan dapat mendukung transparansi dan pemahaman data pemilih, sehingga meningkatkan kepercayaan publik terhadap proses pemilu di Indonesia.

Abstract

Deep learning technology is widely used for recognizing character images, including various regional characters and diverse ancient scripts. Deep learning models require large data sets to recognize images accurately. However, creating a dataset has limitations in terms of quantity, including the Komering script dataset used in this study. Data augmentation techniques can be applied to expand the dataset by modifying existing images to increase data diversity. This study aims to investigate the impact of augmentation techniques on the performance of deep learning models in the case of Komering script recognition. The dataset consists of 500 images for five classes of Komering script characters. Three augmentation techniques, namely random rotation, height shift, and width shift, were applied to the five characters, which were then used to test the model trained to recognize characters in the Komering dataset. This research contributes to providing insights into the effect of augmentation techniques on robust confidence prediction of deep learning models for recognizing newly augmented data. The results demonstrate that the deep learning model can recognize modified data using augmentation techniques with an average accuracy of 80.05%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengukur tingkat kesiapan sistem informasi kearsipan nasional (SIKN) di Dinas Kearsipan Provisi Sumatera Selatan (studi kasus lembaga kearsipan daerah/LKD). Setelah melakukan studi literatur, penelitian ini dimulai dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan variabel yang ada pada metode TRI (Technology Readinnes Index) kepada 50 responden, dari 17 Lembaga Kearsipan Daerah. Metode TRI merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kesiapan pengguna website. Hasil dari pengisian kuesioner oleh responden diuji nilai validitas serta reliabilitasnya untuk mendapatkan variabel dan indikator yang valid dan juga reliabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh/sampel sensus untuk menentukan sampel. Indikator yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Optimis (Optimism), Inovasi (Innovativeness), Ketidaknyamanan (Discomfort), dan Ketidakamanan (Insecurity). Indikator yang digunakan terdiri dari 23 butir pernyataan dan terbagi dalam 4 dimensi diantaranya, 4 indikator pada variabel optimism, 5 indikator dari variabel innovativenes, 7 indikator dari variabel discomfort, dan 7 indikator dari variabel insecurity. Hasil dari pengujian menggunakan TRI, didapatkan hasil tingkat kesiapan pengguna terhadap website SIKN tergolong kedalam kategori Medium. Hal tersebut diperoleh dengan melihat hasil dari total TRI yang didapatkan yaitu 3,51. Nilai tersebut berada diantara 2,89 sampai 3,51 (2,90 ≤ TRI ≤ 3,51). Variabel Optimism mendominasi skor total TRI dengan nilai 1,20 yang menunjukkan bahwa para pengguna  merasa optimis dan memiliki pandangan yang positif terhadap website SIKN mereka percaya bahwa SIKN dapat memberikan efek positif terhadap pekerjaan mereka.

Abstract

Dalam era teknologi, pengembangan sistem informasi menjadi penting. Di Satres Narkoba Polrestabes Palembang, proses pendaftaran rehabilitasi masih manual dan rentan kesalahan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, solusi berbasis web menjadi alternatif yang memungkinkan pendaftaran online yang efisien. Dalam konteks ini, metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dapat mempercepat pengembangan sistem. Metode ini memfasilitasi interaksi pengguna yang aktif dan fleksibel, sehingga mempercepat implementasi sistem. Selain itu, penerapan metode First-In-First-Out (FIFO) dalam mengatur jadwal dokter juga vital. Metode FIFO memastikan prioritas pelayanan berdasarkan waktu pendaftaran, meningkatkan keadilan dan efisiensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Pendaftaran Rehabilitasi berbasis web di Sat Resnarkoba, mengadopsi metode RAD dan penerapan FIFO. Penelitian ini berhasil mengimplementasikan metode RAD dalam pengembangan Sistem Informasi Pendaftaran Rehabilitasi berbasis web di Sat Resnarkoba Polrestabes Palembang. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan iterasi yang cepat dan efektif dalam pengembangan, memfasilitasi komunikasi yang baik antara pemangku kepentingan, serta memungkinkan penyesuaian yang lebih baik terhadap kebutuhan yang berkembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang diimplementasikan memberikan manfaat yang signifikan dalam mengelola proses rehabilitasi. Antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif dan responsif pada halaman-halaman menu, serta adopsi metode FIFO dalam penjadwalan terapi menjadi nilai tambah. Halaman Tampilan Menu Jawaban Pasien juga memungkinkan dokter dan admin untuk berinteraksi secara efektif dengan pasien, meningkatkan komunikasi dan respons yang tepat terhadap kebutuhan pasien.

Abstract

Indonesia consists of various tribes with their respective regional languages, one of which is the Besemah tribe in South Sumatra Province with its language culture, namely the Besemah Language. Until now, the Besemah Language is still used by the Besemah tribe, but over time the number of Besemah Language speakers has decreased, plus most of the wider community does not know what the Besemah Language is. Machine Learning is a part of artificial intelligence that is often used to solve various problems. Machine Learning involves the use of computers and mathematical algorithms that use data to make predictions in the future. Machine translation is a tool that can convert one language to another. This study aims to collect datasets in the form of sentences and words from the Besemah Language, then create a Besemah Language translation machine to Indonesian and vice versa. In the research conducted, the approach used is Experimental Research in Machine Learning. Experimental research in machine learning for language translation is a research approach that involves designing and implementing a series of experiments to test and validate the performance of the language translation model. In this study, Neural Machine Translation (NMT) technology was applied with the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) approach. The results of the study showed that the val_accuracy value for the Besemah-Indonesian translation was 0.8469 and for Indonesia-Besemah was 0.8492, in the translation trial conducted using the RNN model, 100 epochs, batch size 64, and validation split of 0.2.

Abstract

Archives are an essential system that must be possessed by an organization, serving as evidence, evaluation material, and planning material for future activities. Disorganized and undocumented archives in an institution will result in difficulties in searching for archives when needed. The Pedamaran Sub-district office in South Sumatera is facing challenges in rechecking archives due to the stacking of physical documents. To help address this issue, the writing team provides a solution by designing and developing a web-based archiving system. This system is organized based on categories to facilitate the input and checking of documents. After the development of the archiving system for the Pedamaran Sub-district office, further assistance is provided to ensure that officials at the Pedamaran Sub-district office can utilize the created archiving system

Abstract

East Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) is distinguished by its cultural heritage, which encompasses historical artifacts such as traditional houses, crafts, and ceremonial dances. Among the most significant cultural assets are relics inscribed with ancient scripts, including Pallawa and Ulu, which offer valuable insight into the region’s historical literacy. The present study addresses the segmentation of OKU Timur script images through the Bounding Box method. This approach was selected based on its practicality and efficiency, particularly in the context of datasets where script characters exhibit straightforward forms and the overall data volume remains manageable. The segmentation process utilizes Python within the Google Colaboratory platform, ensuring accessible and reproducible workflows. Accurate segmentation is essential to support ongoing digitization and preservation of cultural scripts. The methodology involves gathering data from local artifacts, converting images to binary format, and isolating characters using Bounding Boxes. The results demonstrate that the method effectively separates individual script characters, laying the groundwork for dataset development and subsequent image classification tasks.

Abstract

The Computer-Based Testing (CBT) application plays a significant role in supporting the learning evaluation process in the modern era. As a technology- based tool, this application enables examinations to be conducted more efficiently, quickly, and in a more structured manner compared to conventional paper-based methods. SMA Negeri 1 Semendawai Barat is a state senior high school located in Kangkung Village, Semendawai Barat Sub-district, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency, South Sumatra Province. The school has implemented information and communication technology (ICT) in its teaching and learning activities, including the administration of examinations through the use of the Bravo Computer-Based Testing (CBT) application to improve the quality of academic evaluations. The use of the Bravo CBT application reflects the school's commitment to keeping pace with developments in educational technology. One method that can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of such applications is WebQual, which is an enhancement of the Servqual method a tool that has long been used in evaluating service quality. WebQual has been adapted specifically to measure the quality of applications or websites through three main dimensions: usability, information quality, and service interaction. Research findings indicate that the variables Usability and Information Quality do not have a significant effect on Service Quality, whereas the Service Interaction Quality variable does have a significant impact on Service Quality.
